Nice work Rob. I've just made a 4" system for my FG XR6T, the old xforce 3.5" system made 550rwkw so be interesting to see how it goes after retune. Going for 750rwkw. 3.5" SS system will be for sale soon.
Yeah the only reason I don't do this is cus my g6et is auto(obviously). Drone is horrible. Yours sounds great tho. Love the flutter. Love the gauges aswell.
Hey mate what kind of gauges do you have?Just curious why you didn't go for the cheaper option xforce in mind. i wanted to put a exhaust on my xr6t but was afraid of the drone but seeing your video doesn't sound that bad i have an auto which I've heard drone more then the manuals
Hey mate. Two of the gauges are autometer cobalts (boost and oil pressure) & one is an odb2 touch gauge from plx devices. I guess I went with Nizpro because their products speak for themselves. I mean a street legal system that not only sounds amazing is completely practical on a daily driver. Not only that, it supports over 600rwkw without much restriction. I really love the v-band for fitment and sealing. Didn't go xforce as I just didn't think it had the same pros. Systems are comparable in price also & the nizzy is a proven unit. I'd recommend them to anyone as mine has zero drone. Like you say though, I have heard the autos are a bit worse. You can get an actuator for them though which quietens them down considerably. Don't forget the FG system has an extra muffler than the BA/BF one.
I have this system on my G6Et,got it done then made 325rwkw and it did drone. Maybe if your 18 it not a worry but it was enough for me to send it from Perth back to Nizpro to have the valve put inside, its now spot on. Car is now at 433rwkw.
Well the cars nearly finished on it latest iteration, which includes: GTX4202 6boost high mount manifold Turbosmart 50mm gate ID1700x injectors Haltech Plug in ECU - with flex + All supporting mods 😉 If you use PCMTEC you can use a flex kit from Springy Performance with the standard computer, so that's the best of both worlds. With standard turbo like it was in this vid, you should see low 400-430ish rwkw on E85. It's certainly not as economical as 98 though and uses 30% more fuel.
Turbo is a stock FG F6 unit which is a GT3582r. These are the same as the BA/BF turbo's. FG xr6t/G6e turbos are slightly smaller, being a GT3576r. The induction noise I have is much louder in person, the vid would be 1/10th the volume it is really. It's got a turbo side intake, hence why you get loud spool and flutter (reversion) on back-off. The bov has also been removed... Any stock F6 could sound like this with a turbo side intake :)
One of these in stainless steel www.michaelhill.com.au/mens-manual-winding-mechanical-watch-in-gold-tone-stainless-steel-11119333.html?cgid=watches-mensWatches ;)
Hey mate how do you find the manual box in the f6? I'm in the market for a manual xr6t/f6 and have heard mixed responses on the termec 6060 How do you find it? Heard it's a bit clunky Cheers
Hi mate, yeah they're definitely a bit 'clunky' and notchy to drive. There are obvious things to do that can improve this, like change the oil type that is used and also overfill the box through the reverse switch to help assist. Just remember that these 6060's are built tough and will handle HEAPS of hp without any modifications. You will need to clutch the car, somewhere in the high 300rwkw range, as they just won't handle the torque these engines make in the higher gears. I'm at nearly 400rwkw now, and the clutch hates me (and that's driving sedately). Twin plate NPC will be my next mod for sure, before the high mount setup goes on :D
Sorry melbailey83, your actually incorrect. The "r" has nothing to do with externally or internally wate-gated variants. The r is there because they are dual ball bearing or "roller" turbos. The GT35/40's correct part name is GT3582r. The turbos on BA/BF are identical in features and size to the FG F6 turbo. I believe the only difference is the wastegate brackets.
Sounds like it vibrated the interior when you reversed out, I want this style of exhaust so hoping it was just the camera making that sound, does it vibrate the interior?
demon1300 yes stainless, injectors, bat relo, raceairbox, ported turbo, biger wastegate, tune 330rwkw+. car is manual so should be more. only done 50,000ks 2009model. 6grand$🤔
I think one of your bushes has worn out, look at when you push the car on the ramp, seems like misalignment or something. My car got the same problem (300 rwkws fg XR6T), the front upper control arms bushes were worn out that cause wheel shimmy when I accelerate.
No offence man but they are the worst exhausts the cats are way overkill, the v band clamps constantly come loose making the cats rattle against the chassis mine was a pain in the ass and got rid of it.
I feel like ppl with these types of daily are just annoying Sitting at a light tellem do a power skid "Nah man this my daily" idc what u have as a daily but if your driving 500+hp every day and can't do a skid when asked get in a fkn Corolla man Use that at ya weekend car (if you can handle the power)
It's clear that you'd only have your license for a short period. There's a time and place for everything 😉 I'm not going to entertain a skid everytime some idiot yells that out their window...
Heys bud nice car i wanted to buy a xr6 turbo just coz i never had a turbo car before but need to sell my v8 ss first lol but was wondering heaps off people r saying manual is really shit on fords expecially when u put a bit off power on them they r clunky this that i hate autos man i dont care if the have the worlds best auto lol i am not a fan but wondering is it true or they r that bad or no
Thanks for the comments. It's true that the boxes can be a little rough and notchy, but that's the trade off for strength. They do sometimes have quite a bit of roll over noise which is completely harmless, people just associate it with something bad when its not. Quite often different oils can quieten them down quite a bit. These boxes are Tremec 6060's which are the same as what all the performance Holdens use, the ratio's are just a little different. They are tripple syncro and will handle quite a bit of power and torque with no worries. Like any car, just take it for a drive before you buy it and make sure you're happy with how it shifts and doesn't feel thrashed out. Just remember they are notchy and do sometimes feel rough even when they're brand new...
Ohk cool thanx for that i dont know heaps off people talk alot off crap saying fords have alot off trouble this that and since i usually hang out with people that drive v8s i wouldnt have a clue if its true or not do u know anybody or is there much problems with those cars

Thank you for your time and recording this video for us. It was enjoyable to watch. Appreciate it. Nice car!
Reppin Wodonga town, nice work going with the manual for a change man.
That flutter tho
Awesome sound

+SNB 808 Hey mate. Into the falcons now? 750rwkw!? Wow, that's no small feat for these cars but is do-able. What setup are you planning on running?
750 rwkw!!! Yeah right
+Turbofg6 with a f6 typhoon 750 kw is an easy number to achieve if you have the $$$$$$ for it :)
Typhoons for life
Nice to see some albury people with nice cars haha
Pretty decent fuel economy. My stock G6ET is stuck at 12.8L.
Wow, my 06 BF F6 gets 16L on the highway, and about 23L in town with a bit of spirited driving. It is running 335rwkw though.
all in the tune. a good tune will increase power but also get you betterr fuel economy
Oh mines stuck at 16.+L and mines a NA XR6 with full Xforce exhaust system.
i always fang up that up ramp in albury near joss
Cruisen down Melrose! Goes hard man
Yep ;)
Currently running a TBRE setup, GTX45
Do the f6 Manuel’s make the turbo flutter stock standard
Not really, they have a BOV from factory and an inlet tract muffler to remove the flutter.
Do the FG F6s' have a nice flutter when they're just stock? love the sound of it. - thanks
It's not really noticeable until you put the turbo side intake, bigger intercooler and piping. But this has quite a few mods by the looks
Nice car mate!
Ba/bf standard turbo is a gt35/40 You need to change the the hole turbo if you want gt35/82r the r comes in when it becomes externall waiste gated.
Yeah the only reason I don't do this is cus my g6et is auto(obviously). Drone is horrible. Yours sounds great tho. Love the flutter. Love the gauges aswell.
very nice.

Wonder how much to convert it to E85 to produce the same kind of power with a tad better fuel economy.
Well the cars nearly finished on it latest iteration, which includes:

what blow off valve? sounds sick mate. thinking of a bf mkii xr6t
would love to make 280atw with minimal mods.
TheiPumba that's sounds more like flutter back through the turbo, not a bov
hey mate .. might sound like a stalker but do you live in albury wodonga ?
i have a fg f6 and would love to have a chat about the nizpro upgrade
Yes I do mate, happy to meet somewhere and have a chat 😁 It makes a little more power now also 😉
no worries mate .. hit me up on facebook . troy harris *profile picture is a photo of me and my son . thanks mate :)
demon1300 hi mate , any chance I can come up to hear urs in person I brought and fitted a ultrex 4 inch and it sounds like shit, I am in shepparton
L8R2YA what’s wrong with it I’m thinking of buying one? Cheers man
Hey mate, what intake are you running?
Have you done anything to the turbo? Because i'v been wondering if you would be able to here the turbo that easy on a stock f6
Turbo is a stock FG F6 unit which is a GT3582r. These are the same as the BA/BF turbo's. FG xr6t/G6e turbos are slightly smaller, being a GT3576r.

Alright cool man cheers
damn man that sounds nice as. where did you get the work done? I'm in northern Vic white F6
Work was done by Nizpro in Bayswater. www.nizpro.com.au/.
You couldn't afford it .if that's you in the pic then your another snowflake muppet still at home with mum and dad
Demon, what is that watch you are wearing in the video?
One of these in stainless steel www.michaelhill.com.au/mens-manual-winding-mechanical-watch-in-gold-tone-stainless-steel-11119333.html?cgid=watches-mensWatches ;)
Demon mate, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Appreciate the info, you're awesome..
Demon, sorry mate one more question, that gauge on the left, is that some graphical display? What brand is that please?
It's a PLX DM100 touch gauge. have it connected to the OBD2 port fpr all the standard computer outputs and a wideband controller as well 😎
It would sound tuff just the audio quality
Hey mate how do you find the manual box in the f6?
I'm in the market for a manual xr6t/f6 and have heard mixed responses on the termec 6060
How do you find it? Heard it's a bit clunky
Cheers

Fg turbo is smaller than B series
Robbie Thompson Correct. FG F6 has the same as BA/BF though ;)
yes, but hell of a lot of intake changes... that's why they don't sound like a ba/bf....
still got the car?
Yeah mate, still modifying it here and there. About to put an NPC twin plate clutch in, ready for the EFR turbo upgrade later this year ;)
Stock turbo?
Ryan Wooster Yes mate. It's about to get a GTX4202 high mount setup though. Quite a bit has changed since this vid 👍
Sounds like it vibrated the interior when you reversed out, I want this style of exhaust so hoping it was just the camera making that sound, does it vibrate the interior?
Na, it's just the camera. No vibration in the interior unless you obviously have loose trim pieces as it's more throaty 👍
that ezhaust is two seven from nizpro😮 im going with 3.5 system form HPF 17hundi
You can get it cheaper than that ;) 3 1/2" will be fine for making power. Is that a stainless system as well?
demon1300 yes stainless, injectors, bat relo, raceairbox, ported turbo, biger wastegate, tune 330rwkw+. car is manual so should be more. only done 50,000ks 2009model. 6grand$🤔
nice👌 just droped deposit on fg f6 rspec manual low k's😁
R-Spec FG F6? They don't exist in the FG series, only in the GT. The R-Spec F6 was an BA/BF thing ;)
demon1300 stooges. Ford epping😣
demon1300 previous owner put rspec badges on it. Still going through with purchase. follow me on Instagram Nilly4236👍
Pistol Cobra what mods ya done?
aye wodonga!

turboshauney what do you suggest
Wind the windows up..That would be silent..
what a waste of time you didn't even give it a decent hit
Kava Valu Well that wouldn't be too smart considering it's got my rego in the vid :P
"Didn't even give it a descent hit" - still would have blown the doors off most things on the road!
I feel like ppl with these types of daily are just annoying

No it's definitely not. The video doesn't easily translate the sound :)
