Hi. Nice result. Curious why you dont do the turbo and wastegate porting? Close to having the turbo off already and well worth the little extra effort.
it is the falcon they started with, transmission isnt sitting sideways for one and as the camera goes down the piping it clearly shows a driveshaft....what front wheel drive cars have you driven with a drive shaft going towards the rear of the vehicle..
wowfaglul- he is nearly right ,from 4:12-4:49 its a territory with awd shown .not the falcon look again at the green cv joints. Also rear view shows territory airbagged shockies.
what is your stage 1,2,3? this is most peoples stage 2 kits, stage 1 would be something like cooler piping, injectors, intake to make 300ish kw, stage 2 this, stage 3 add a turbo, oil pump gears, valve springs and bigger fuel pump, stage 4 build up the fuel system, headstuds etc
checked their website for tuning info on a lancer ralliart, apparently i'll unlock hidden power from it's subaru boxer engine. Get a tune, end up with a competitors engine for free now thats service :)
Notice no heat shielding on the underside of the body where the exhausts sits, hum, i would be buying some heat shielding wrap to stick on the underside of the body full stop ?
+Antifaith29 Yeah thats the good thing about xr6t and the F6 range. You dont need alot of cash to make them fast. I'm a Holden fan and own a ve ssv ute but Im looking at getting a 05 FPV F6 as well just because I like the idea of fast for cheap
A stage 3 tune up is only replacing the high flow exhaust, intercooler and a battery relocation? And you get 325 rwkw out of it? I found that hard to believe. No fuel injectors, water pumps, underpully or a garret turbo?
F6 turbo is good for the 400kw mark.... xr6t is good for the 350kw mark. Obveously with highflow or flapper mod ect then ya can squeeze a bit more and with e85 ontop even more 🤘
Just gives the engine bay a massive pointless void...... personally I think the battery looks better in the bay, was gonna do a boot relo but thought it would knock the symmetry out of whack with a big void to the passenger side, each to there own i guess
Fuck that man, gotta remove the front bumper to access it or change it unless you run cable to terminals that are more accesable its a pain in the ass, better to relocate to boot 👍
Video is dodgy for one, the exhaust upgrades on a territory turbo not the f6 stated in the vid...... and tbh with what these guys probably charge for this kit id be dissapointed with the final figure.... could get that from and xr6 size turbo, could squeeze closer to the 400kw with an f6
Rather disappointed in the lack of prior research on just the simple stuff, a tuner should know his car lingo... Also despite the car not being owned by anyone but the tuner, I dislike like the lack of care taken to remove many parts, at one part there could have easily snapped off the fluid dripper.
Also where the battery sits just imagine hitting the drivers side just a little, battery fluid everywhere, more damage than just a little tap and there's goes around 10K ? Don't understand why not put the battery in the boot like most other cars ? also noticed so many Fords pricing is way off the mark, making out like they are so worth it its not funny, compared to the humble holden and the demand is the same, in fact more people want the holden compared to the ford and those fords that are for sale are asking over 10 to 15K more than what its worth going by redbooks valuation ? Also anything which has had changes to them, like upgrades like this are all thrused to no end and then put back to Oe look and go and before you know it your up for replacement of turbo's and other running gear, just because the previous owners had it from new and had the upgrades and had a good time and as a 2nd hand new owner of the car your wondering why the hell is the car so shit FORD or HOLDEN ?
90 %of Holdens have their battery in the engine bay as do almost all cars and if you are going to have a hard enough hit to actually damage the battery your radiator is going to be replaced, cost is way more than a replacement battery and an engine clean
WTF!! are they using the worst type of cooler hose clamps possible not good at all. As for battery im sure in a front collision fire brigade need to access to disconnect it or worse theres a greater chance the battery rupturing in a big way.
Absolute bollocks! ... no internal mod's. It's just as well this video goes back a few years. The F6 rods alone can't handle that kind of power. Good on you for helping to fill the roads with clapped out turbo sixes.
LMAO there's a haltech barra that's got stock block and head running over 2000hp that revs upto 10800rpm... explain that has had over 20 passes still going.
Clearly my sarcasm was a little too subtle for UA-cam. I know it wouldn't take 11 minutes, mate. If it was that easy, labour charges would be even bigger than they are!

what costs the same? the price of each car? yeh sure, but as i said the ford 6 is factory turboed, you can ugrade the parts that are already there instead of going from n/a to turboed which costs alot more, as there is alot more work and parts invlolved. thats where they're "wasting" there money.
Battery relocation -dangerous, intercooler piping not the best,no valve springs, fuel pump or injectors for 320+ kW is a recipe for disaster or maybe it's just a happy dyno
you're fucked mate, i was in my mates s2000 (just exhaust and intake etc, nothing crazy) and we raced a ve ss off the lights and beat him. Not sure if shit driver or something but the front of his car was at our doors up till about 90ish and then we both let off.
Fg valve springs are fine til 380kw. Fuel pumps good to 320kw. Inj on f6 are 42lb. Just a 4" hi flow cat and tune get you 380kw on a f6. This tuners shit.
5000nm at the wheels. Fuarrrk those stock FG 'Typhoon' F6's are crazy
They do that to make it easier for Autotech to get a car in, dynoed, modded, tuned and dynoed again, all within 11 minutes!
i wish my car parts magically popped off this easy
He told me to call a website...
Great work. Sounds great cant wait to do mine one day
Did you get it done mate?
Oh my how we’ve come so far in the barra world. This is basically stage 1 these days
Fuck that, battery under the headlight is a KUNT of a place to get at, they use to do that shit at mercedes, biggest hatred of mine, sweet car tho man
Hi. Nice result. Curious why you dont do the turbo and wastegate porting? Close to having the turbo off already and well worth the little extra effort.
Here we have it, just completed our phase four kit...4? Thought it was III(3)?
Title says stage 3. Mean while at the end of the video he says stage 4.
I hope more thought goes into installing the kits then the videos you put up.
Can the video owner explain why at 4:37 its clearly a front wheel drive not the falcon we started with?
it is the falcon they started with, transmission isnt sitting sideways for one and as the camera goes down the piping it clearly shows a driveshaft....what front wheel drive cars have you driven with a drive shaft going towards the rear of the vehicle..
wowfaglul- he is nearly right ,from 4:12-4:49 its a territory with awd shown .not the falcon look again at the green cv joints. Also rear view shows territory airbagged shockies.
xr8brisbane- Its a ford territory AWD. Has the same motor and very similar running gear apart from AWD box. Exhaust and tune kit would be the same.
Mate you clearly need to go to Spec Savers, or simply look under Falcon.
It looks more like a Subaru diff
"its an F6, the typhoon version" Typhoon badge was dropped in the B series
Sure was!!
05:25 Says Installing a high flow intake. Continues to put in sharp right angle bends
what is your stage 1,2,3? this is most peoples stage 2 kits, stage 1 would be something like cooler piping, injectors, intake to make 300ish kw, stage 2 this, stage 3 add a turbo, oil pump gears, valve springs and bigger fuel pump, stage 4 build up the fuel system, headstuds etc
How much is this kit and fit average??
Any idea what time this car would clock 0 to 100kph with this package? Thinking about buying an F6.
60secs
checked their website for tuning info on a lancer ralliart, apparently i'll unlock hidden power from it's subaru boxer engine. Get a tune, end up with a competitors engine for free now thats service :)
Notice no heat shielding on the underside of the body where the exhausts sits, hum, i would be buying some heat shielding wrap to stick on the underside of the body full stop ?
what do you mean by dropped mate?
Does the tune negatively impact reliability at all?
highley likely. otherwise they will be boasting about it. but any modified vehicle you run the risk of reliability
Mett DUH!
So you get 120 hp just from letting it breath and a tune?
Did I miss something else?
120kw dumbs thats about 250hp at the rear wheels increase. so in total it makes 500hp at the wheels and 620hp at the engine
more boost too
+Antifaith29 Yeah thats the good thing about xr6t and the F6 range. You dont need alot of cash to make them fast. I'm a Holden fan and own a ve ssv ute but Im looking at getting a 05 FPV F6 as well just because I like the idea of fast for cheap
the factory f6 turbo is not limited to 350rwks
450 i believe he xr6 t would push close to 350
A stage 3 tune up is only replacing the high flow exhaust, intercooler and a battery relocation? And you get 325 rwkw out of it? I found that hard to believe. No fuel injectors, water pumps, underpully or a garret turbo?
stock barra turbos are garret ya flop. also good for 360ish kw
It’ll make that sort of power stock with a proper tune
Brad Ross and a few supporting mods to be safe but yeah can easily hold 300rwkw stock as a rock
Has a 3582r not your standard fg turbo which is 3576r.
F6 turbo is good for the 400kw mark.... xr6t is good for the 350kw mark. Obveously with highflow or flapper mod ect then ya can squeeze a bit more and with e85 ontop even more 🤘
wrong location for battery, how do you disconnect that in an emergency or jump start it?
A battery quick disconnect??
Andrew Smart - you actually win the award for the dumbest comment on UA-cam.
Just gives the engine bay a massive pointless void...... personally I think the battery looks better in the bay, was gonna do a boot relo but thought it would knock the symmetry out of whack with a big void to the passenger side, each to there own i guess
Anyone know where to get these battery relocation kits to go behind the fg falcon bumber instead of the intake side kits i keep finding cheers.
Fuck that man, gotta remove the front bumper to access it or change it unless you run cable to terminals that are more accesable its a pain in the ass, better to relocate to boot 👍
Typhoon no longer exists. It was used in the BA-BF. No Typhoon in the FG. Its just an F6
90kw upgrade sweet
thought u would have got more than 350rwks for all that work
Dave Horvath i thought they would have done injectors and fuel pump atleast.. thought it would have pulled atleast 370 380rwkw
@@Elguapo93 stock turbo, no flapper mod....yeah no
never takin my xr6t there.
@@elliotbarron4913 356 from a baby fg turbo? on e85 maybe. but certainly not on 98 like this car.
and hes got so many simple facts wrong too zzz he said the typhoon version 🤣 when the 310 is different to the B series typhoon lol
@@elliotbarron4913 exactly.. it was 260rwks stock for Fuck sake haha did they even do injectors?
Fit high flow exhaust bearing.
nice
Rather disappointed in the lack of prior research on just the simple stuff, a tuner should know his car lingo...
Also despite the car not being owned by anyone but the tuner, I dislike like the lack of care taken to remove many parts, at one part there could have easily snapped off the fluid dripper.
Correct
This is legacy mod. Who would do this today?
Why not?
They cost the same. So where are they wasting there money?
So, you upgraded the air flow and tune and nothing else?
Haha, yeah sometimes sarcasm doesn't go through.
imagine if you give these guys a day, they'd have a whole new car lol.
This is an edited video mate, it wouldn't be 11 real minutes.
Funny how they call it tuning a car one run on the dyno and it's done lol tuning to its full potential would need more then one run surely
@Mark Nicholls this is very clearly a final tune
Shows you how easy it is to make power with the Ford 6. Try its direct competition and it would be $1000's more dollars for the same results
as in the name typhoon is no longer synonymous with the title F6
Man this is old, check out those radiator hose clams haha.
Also where the battery sits just imagine hitting the drivers side just a little, battery fluid everywhere, more damage than just a little tap and there's goes around 10K ? Price?
jmac a lot

Bottom ends or the block is good for 800hp reliably would be going built after that or shes a tickin time bomb
Obviously a butt hurt Commodore owner

shit location for battery, shit rubber intercooler pipes... what a waste of money
I'd hate to have a flat battery in that thing xD
subarus r dope, so is the f6 hahah
Subarus are shit.get an evo.or a barra if you've got a set off balls

haha i thought he said that :/
do ford not bolt in there intakes? lolololol.
Commdore ve ssv 325 kw da best
at the flywheel not the rear wheel why the barra always chops the fuk out of them lol
Dont hurt his feelings man, commodore owners always use the flywheel figures
