    This rig was created to help you create talking head videos faster, more easily, and better.
    The best camera for talking head videos is a Sony ZV E10 with a Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens.
    I use a Zoom F3 recorder with 32-bit float audio and an Audio Technica AT 875R shotgun microphone to record the sound.
    My monitor for this rig is an Andycine A6 Plus, which is affordable and powerful enough for this rig.
    To be complete, I also use a teleprompter from Ulanzi,
    Everything is attached to a Smallrig tripod, and Smallrig magic arms and clamps.
    To power the rig I use an NPF battery with a Smallrig adapter plate and short cables that offers me great cable management.

    4:45 🤩 Magic words: "Because I have a cage, I can attach the camera directly to the tripod without a plate." Sir, earlier this week I spent HOURS searching for a plate. Thanks to you, I now realize my camera cage IS an Arca-type mount plate. Your design is great, thank you.

    This is PERFECT for most of the content creators out here. Sure, there are many on UA-cam that look pretty cool, but for most people, it is overkill. This is a great studio rig: portable, sturdy, easy. Great video!

      Glad you like it! You are perfectly right! For many creators is overkill. Clearly, we can make great content just with a phone.
      But this rig I want to be an inspiration for those who want to shoot easier, and more comfortably. And I really think it is as you said: portable, sturdy, and easy to use :) Thank you, my friend 🙋🏻‍♂️🤗

      Thank you my friend and thank you for your tip. It's really helpful for me. Don't you think it's too long in this version? I always try to find the shortest version because on smartphones people will not see the entire title and will not understand it. Even in the current version, the last word will not appear on some devices :) It's a huge struggle for me with titles 😂😂 Right now the video is working so I will not touch it a few days to see the progress but I will try to make it better if something goes wrong. @@GabrielVIP currently my magic arms are holding my aperture MC's above my daughters beds as night lights 😅
      My brother has "borrowed" my f3 to record his DJ sets, and I'm debating rebuying everything again so I can actually get something productive done sometime soon 😅😅
      When it was setup, I used a desk mounted camera stand, and fitted the monitor on the top handle and the zoom on a side mounting point on the camera cage.
      I also discovered that the zve10 doesn't loose charge when powerd over USB if you connect it to a powerd USB hub ( I use the one for my steamdeck ). But it does loose power slowly if you just connect the USB straight to the computer USB port or use the provided power adapter.

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  Місяць тому +1

      @SystemParanoia Good usage for magic arms :) Your daughters are lucky to have such professional lights above the bed 😁
      I know how it is to “borrow” equipment for unlimited time and buy it again 😁
      The power will drop if the USB port is not that powerful. That hub probably is strong :)
      I am sure that you will build the setup again and work with it 😁

    How long will one NPF battery last while powering camera, sound recorder and monitor? I sometimes shoot continuously for almost an hour.

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  14 днів тому

      Hey! I never recorded that long to see how long it lasts because the SD will get full first :)) But it also depends on how big the NPF is. On a big 970, you have at least 2-3 hours. I have a new Smallrig NPF with a display and after I recorded for 40 minutes the battery was 75% so... I don't think you will have problems.

      Hey! So you want to shoot a podcast with two people and use one single camera, yes? To fit two people in the shot you need a wide-angle lens if you don’t have a big space. The Sigma 16 it’s great for this. And if you want a camera with a big battery I suggest the ZV-E10 MK-II.

    Why does your ANDYCINE A6 PLUS monitor not have any branding?

      @@GabrielVIP It's crazy that they released their product back then without any branding at all. The current devices with those huge, bold logos look super ugly, honestly.
