Hey! Indeed, shooting B-ROLL, changing the place all the time, and adjusting the settings all the time is hard work, but... for the best image... we need to hard work. It's hard for me to advise you if I don't see the space and the light. But seems like you need a more difuze light if it looks digital. Or try to bounce the light from a wall. That will be softened. I changed so many times the position of my desk because the light didn't look good. Maybe you find another place to put the desk. The key is to try various places to find the best one.

I've invested some money in equipment so would like to achieve it with this what I have and also my office is small there is no any option to move around the desk so maybe it's just my skills problem🫣

Hey! It depends on what's more important for you. I shoot a lot with my phone, and it was always a pain. Low memory and run out of battery, I need to keep it in plane mode, I don't have a flip screen, and the from-facing camera is garbage... For me is much easier to shoo with the camera but if you are happy with your phone that's perfect. The most important thing is to achieve great results :)

Hey! I didn't try that. With some adaptor, maybe, but I don't see the point. Connect the mic directly to the phone. Or record internally in you DJI mic 2.

Hey! I use Ulanzi, but you must use a phone as a display. Elgato is expensive but has its own display. Both are great but it's a matter of budget :D

Hey! I don't like that. Rodecaster has great preamps and the sound is clean. If you do that you will record the sound also through the camera preamp and that has poor quality compared with Rodecaster.

Hey! Zoom has its own recording system. I don't think it's something you can do about it. Maybe move the sessions to a platform like Riverside.fm If your camera delivers great quality on your PC, the recording it's all up to the ZOOM. Or, I am not 100% sure if you can also stream your image to the OBS and record yourself in OBS. I need to check this!

Hy man! Sorry to hear that. But if you have a passion and want to create, you don't need any rig. Just use your phone and find a spot where you have great natural light. The light is more important that the phone or the rig. Use your phone and try to add great light. This is the key!

Hey! When I will make a video about it I will film that. It’s a classic door. It doesn’t have a rubber space to take the cable out. But why you don’t want to power it with a USB cable?

I don't know. Maybe because you can, or maybe to save the USB port from excessive wear and tear (and maybe that isn't even an issue.) I have read reports that people can keep it running for 5 to 6 hours on 2 AA batteries. I am just thinking like Mark Rober, stretch the limits of what is possible, and also to save on not buying yet another USB charger although they are cheap already. I want to test if we can keep something like this powered for a whole month while it is recording 32 bit, until the maximim capacity of 1 TB is filled up. For practical purposes for a home studio or streaming, using dummy battery will also make sense. The cheap door may also break anyway, or I can intentionally cut a small hole or notch for any wires. For such a small device, I may just put the whole thing into a waterproof container if I am going outdoors, and just have the microphone cables going out. For the meantime, just having extra batteries is probably okay. Thank you. I am watching all of your videos from oldest to latest.
