Hey! 1. You don’t need to start them at the same time. You can sync everything with 2 clicks in the editing software. It's super simple. I showed this in one of my videos: ua-cam.com/video/dypYHLtgkQI/v-deo.htmlsi=64zWRhyJ3yMgqX7o 2. You can connect the camera to the laptop using a capture card like Elgato Camlink. @@GabrielVIP I manage to record, but struggling to get HQ quality recording. Watched a bunch of videos but no luck. Do you know what it could be? I will pay you for your time if you can help me figure it out.
Hey! The light is bounced from the wall in front of me, and the curtains, and like that the light is super soft. I explained everything here: ua-cam.com/video/0tlREIt6d3E/v-deo.html
i have a sony zv e10 and not only it overheats faster when you plug it while filming, it also ceates a loud static noise captured in the recorded audio.
Hey! This is the main feature of the Rodecaster. To have great live audio processing. You can use live EQ, Compression, Gate, etc. Yes, you can do that 100%! Thank you!
Cool video. I was wondering if you could recommend me a camera & lens for the kind of videos I make. Mostly action figures reviews and need a camera that can do close-ups A/F and the zoom is not crazy loud. Right now pretty much shooting vids with a S8+ that's been begging for retirement. Thanks for cool setup ideas for a small space.
Hey! First, I need to know your budget :D It's super important to be able to recommend something. And if you can, explain a little bit more about what you want to shoot. Do you need image stabilization? Do you need a good camera in low light? You can shoot with a rig, or so you need something small. Let me know more and I will try to help as much as possible. Thank you!
@@GabrielVIP Yeah, after reading your response I realized my question couldn't be more vague 🤦. First, thanks for replying. Second, I'm trying not to go over $500 for a camera/lens (I know I'm probably asking for too much) Going to my setup, right now I have two LED lights, one is a brand-less 25cm ring and the other is an Ulanzi U200. I also have an Ulanzi VL49 RGB. I use a VIJIM LS01Extend with C clamp to hold the lights and attached to it an articulated arm for the phone to shoot the video. The mic is an Ulanzi Arimic Lavalier. All that I got it from Ali Express or Amazon. The videos I do are reviews/unboxing of action figures, so the camera is just pointing to my hands and with a black background. So far the phone setup works but trying to upgrade the video quality. Yesterday I saw a video for the Insta360 Link 2C, the price is tempting but I would have to get a little monitor like the one in your video to make sure the figure I'm reviewing is in frame. I hope this helps, and again thanks for taking the time to reply. Take care.
Awesome video thank you so much! Im moving into a new place and finally have a room for streaming so this helps me out a lot! Just wanted to ask you a question, I live stream 3-5 hours at a time. Does the dummy battery last that long for the camera? Im looking into buying the Sony ZVE-10 but i want to make sure it can handle long livestreams. Thanks again! I just subbed to your channel btw!
Hey! The BIG NPF will last but if you make super long streams you can use a dummy battery that connects to the wall and stream as much as you want. Also, use a capture card. I use Elgato Camlink 4K and it’s great.
Enjoyed this video! I'm a little confused though - is the video being recorded onto the camera's SD card, or is it connected to the laptop somehow? I'm guessing the Rodecaster is also connected to the Mac.
Hey! The Rodecaster is connected but I recorded the sound processed by the Rodecaster directly on the Micro SD card that is in the Rodecaster and the video is recorded on the SD card in camera. I also recorded the laptop screen with those slides. Thank you :)

Hi Gabriel. I have a talking head channel and actually I'm using some cheap lead lights (60 lamps), that are fine but they require that I am always really close to them. I've seen the powerful Neewer 660 led panel. but it has no included batteries, and it is a bit bulky for my tiny living room setup. So I've also seen the Raleno 192 lamps, that has a rechargable lythium battery included and it is lighter. In your opinion, this light could be enough for a talking head setup, in which I'm positioned 1 meter far from the light? Thank you very much
Hey! I don't think that 60W lights are not enough. Looks like you need a better lens. At that distance from the lights 60W should be more than enough. What lens do you use?
@vadoaviveredasolo I understand but it's not about the Nr. of LEDs, it's about the power and Lumens. But if you upgrade to a 1.4, 1.8 lens, you will have a much better image in low light, and also that great blur behind you.
@@GabrielVIP Thanks for the quick response. Another question, do you record directly in laptop using a capture card or record in camera. Is there a quality difference?
I record it on camera. You can use a good capture card like Elgato Camlink 4k but the quality will not be the same. Almost the same with a great capture card but the files stored on the SD card are always better.
Hey Gabriel , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ?
Hello sir. Just got the rodecaster dual through your affiliate link but I have an issue with the usb c connection. It’s says it needs more power. Do you recommend I buy a hub ?
Hey! I don’t know how you power it but use the provided power plug with usb C to power it and the original cable to connect it to the PC. You need to power it with the provided power adaptor and connect it to your PC with the provided cable. Be sure that you use it correctly. Thank you!
The 16mm lens is not the best choice of talking head videos, unless you have a tiny distance to place the camera and you just need it. Else, it's unflattering and distorts the face. Something like 24mm - 28mmi is recomended (40-50mm is the optimal, but you need to have a lot of distance between you and the camera which is not doable in small rooms)
Hey! You are right! This is useful in small spaces. The thing is that I talk every day with a ton of talking head creators, and 99% of them are shooting in small spaces. I rarely see a talking head creator who is happy to use a 28mm and stay that far from the camera. But, yes! If you have space, 24 to 28, it will be great :)
Hey! The only difference will be this: the aperture on the kit lens is 3.5 not 1.4. So, you need more light, or rise the ISO a little bit. Watch my video about how to set your camera and the rest is the same. I don't have the kit lens, but is almost the same thing :)
@@GabrielVIP Are you sure? in the B-Roll shot it seems like it has a matte finish, which the black version of the RE20 would have, the RE320 has a glossy black finish and looks a bit "cheaper"
Not a healthy example but sometimes yes! I have used cameras for more than 12 years and never had even a small scratch. The lenses are not as sensitive as we think. And also, on that shot, on the Sigma I have a protection filter. So… worst case scenario… I will have a scratch on the filter. Most of the time I need to take out the camera fast and I hate to taking care of the lens cover :))
That is so funny. I have an accent too and reading your comment got me like aww that is so nice lol ❤ truth be told i love how he deliver his content too 😂
Building a studio can be sometimes expensive but it can also be more expensive than this one :) Even if it's expensive, for what it does it’s pretty cheap 😂
The setup is not a budget setup. Compared to other professional setups is affordable but compared to a webcam and an entry-level camera it’s expensive. I like to present some professional setups and also some affordable versions but on a level where the quality is still super good. I have other videos with more affordable versions :) Thank you!
Hey. Thank you for your feedback. I will try to keep the mic a little bit far away. I don't really like pop filters in the frame but I will try to solve it :) I appreciate your feedback.
@@GabrielVIP that would be really good if you can figure out to get this solved somehow, with headphones its so hard to focus on the information you want to get out because of that, i am sure there is a way to improve that, thanks for the video, helped me a lot

Thank you! I Appreciate it! I don't have K3M but maybe I can help you or search for a solution if you have problems :) Let me know!
this is a great set up
Glad you like it! Thank you :)
so you can use either one of these options right?
1. dummy battery
2. npf adaptor + npf battery
or you use both? i don’t get it, thanks! 🙏
You can use a dummy battery that connects directly to the wall or one that connects to a plate with an NPF :)
Nice simple setup. I also have the Zve10
Thank you! This is a super powerful camera If it's used right! We can do so much with it!
i have a sony zv e10 and not only it overheats faster when you plug it while filming, it also ceates a loud static noise captured in the recorded audio.
Hey! I never had the sound problem. But with a dummy battery you are 100% good to go :)
This happened to me with a zv1 and the dummy battery
Hmmmm. Thank you for letting me know. What model of dummy battery do you use? It’s a dummy connected to an NPF or directly to the wall? Thank you!
@@GabrielVIP I connected directly to the wall
Gabriel, Instead of using the Rodecaster DUO to make extreme voices, can you use it to make your voice just sound better, richer, etc?
Second, I'm trying not to go over $500 for a camera/lens (I know I'm probably asking for too much)
Going to my setup, right now I have two LED lights, one is a brand-less 25cm ring and the other is an Ulanzi U200.
Take care.
such a amazing information video
Thank you! Glad you like it 🙋🏻♂️🤗
Awesome video thank you so much!
I use Elgato Camlink 4K and it’s great.
good info Bro...thank you

Glad you like it! Thank you :)
thank u for this video from thailand
Glad you like it! Thank you :)
@@GabrielVIP i just got ur recommended mic and light haha
@HENGDAYS Thank you :) Congratulations on your equipment. Learn how to use them right and the quality will be TOP :)
@@GabrielVIP thanks for the clarification. I’m enjoying your channel and it’s going to help my ecommerce business a ton.
Happy to hear that. If you need help, just le me know 🤗
So do you syncs the audio file from the road Caster to the video file from your camera in daVinci?
How about a live Zoom set for a standup production like a weather report with a big 55inches monitor/TV on the set. no desk, wireless mics
Hey! You can do that with a Lavalier mic for sure. Use a tall tripod and adjust properly the brightness of the screen to have great exposure.
Very nice informative video
Thank you! Glad you like it!
Nice video. Where can I get the robot voice?
Hey! It’s basic in Rodecaster DUO or PRO :)
What is the laptop specs Gabriel?
Hey! MacBook PRO M2 16’, 16 GB Ram :)
What bag was that when you mentioned the cage and traveling
Hey. That bag is not in production anymore but here is another one, wit the same size: amzn.to/3Uvbsqc
👏👏👏👏👏great you are legend
Hehe :) Thank you, my friend! I appreciate you support 🙋🏻♂️

@@GabrielVIP not 60 watt, but 60 leds. I use the kit lens actually, on my Sony ZV E10
@vadoaviveredasolo I understand but it's not about the Nr. of LEDs, it's about the power and Lumens. But if you upgrade to a 1.4, 1.8 lens, you will have a much better image in low light, and also that great blur behind you.
@@GabrielVIP yes I would love that, I wait for the first UA-cam payment to buy It. Thank you bro
@vadoaviveredasolo That's great :) You will be amazed by the upgrade :)
Thank you!
Please share the link to your C stand and overhead lights
Hey! You have everything here about my lights and links in the description: ua-cam.com/video/0tlREIt6d3E/v-deo.html
Thank you 🤗
@@GabrielVIP Thanks for the quick response.
Hey man, thank you! I appreciate it. For the moment I can manage it. In the future, If I need an editor I will keep you in mind. Thank you!
What’s the link to the camera battery please??

Thank you my friend. Glad you like it and thank you for your support 🙋🏻♂️
Plz recommend a best budget camera for me 😊
Do one video with kit lens please i have no sigma 😁
Hey! The only difference will be this: the aperture on the kit lens is 3.5 not 1.4. So, you need more light, or rise the ISO a little bit. Watch my video about how to set your camera and the rest is the same. I don't have the kit lens, but is almost the same thing :)
I’m so glad you went with an RE20 and not an SM7B. I hate how the SM7B sounds
Hello! This is RE320 ton RE20. In my opinion SM7B is exceptional but it really need to fit your voice. For my voice, this is better :) Thank you :)
@@GabrielVIP Are you sure? in the B-Roll shot it seems like it has a matte finish, which the black version of the RE20 would have, the RE320 has a glossy black finish and looks a bit "cheaper"
100%. I bought it brand new 😂😂 It's 320 :)
i like you video
Thank you 🙋🏻♂️🤗
Can I use my canon g7x?
Why not? If it has all you need, yes! It's perfect :)
Would the cage and battery/adapter be also compatible with the g7x ?
You need to search for a dedicated cage and dedicated battery. 100% it's different.
with quicktime screen recording you mean...the macos default screen recording? :))
Yes! Many people don't know that Quick Time is not just a player it also has a recording option.
You put your camera in your backpack without a lens cover? 1:11
Ngl I only subbed cause of the accent 😂
Good video too
That's something new 😂 Thank you!
Glad you like it!
That is so funny. I have an accent too and reading your comment got me like aww that is so nice lol ❤ truth be told i love how he deliver his content too 😂

@@GabrielVIP I don't refer to the mic I refer to the console

Are you talk about bought or small room studio 🤔😂
Building a studio can be sometimes expensive but it can also be more expensive than this one :)
Even if it's expensive, for what it does it’s pretty cheap 😂
Your let up??😂😂😂😂
Hey! ??? I don’t get it!
Tiny Room✅ Tiny Budjet❌
The setup is not a budget setup. Compared to other professional setups is affordable but compared to a webcam and an entry-level camera it’s expensive. I like to present some professional setups and also some affordable versions but on a level where the quality is still super good.
I have other videos with more affordable versions :)
Thank you!
@@GabrielVIP I highly appreciate your kind response :)
Your setup is Too expensive!
Hey! For this quality, it is not but yes, overall it is not a budget setup.
looks good but lots of mouth cracks... pop filter would be appreciated. kind a gross
Yeah, no problem! Thank you for your feedback!
RX Mouth de-click. The one plugin to save recordings like this. No pop filter needed. Life saver plugin. The whole RX series is great.
Um, he isn’t recording music. He doesn’t need it Mr perfection!!!!
