Hey matey, that circle shaped piece of lead looks to me like a rok/ gordijn gewicht. So a weight that they used to keep skirts/ curtains on position. Kind regards from The Netherlands
@@rockscousteau what are you trying to say??? What rpm are you speaking of? I don’t understand your comment… are you saying his subscription count is out of whack? Can you expand on your comment so I understand what you mean? Thanks
You have definitely made a impact on that young man and the metal detecting world. Thanks Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE see you on the next

My Mother's side of the family is from the south eastern area of Indiana... Brown County Indiana..... The first time I was blessed to visit the old place was in 1963... It was summer.... Me and my younger brothers took full advantage of the big creeks that ran all over the area for miles and miles....A paradise for young teens..... The only animals we encountered were frogs and little snakes and small pan fish in the deep areas... Clear and clean water..💖💖💖 In the 1990's we were all grown up.... My Mother's side of the family had a reunion there.... Sadly, progress had arrived and the creek was gone.... Strip malls and motels all along the road we kids loved.....😢
As usual,, a reat video Mr chigg. I think you were right-on with that piece of flimsy copper you thought was a wash boiler. That appeared to be the lid for one anyway. My older brother and myself helped daddy cook many a gallon of "moonshine" (corn whiskey) using a copper "wash kittle" as a boiler for the still in the back woods of Eastern Kentucky. He wrapped the boiler and the copper "worm" in a burlap bag and buried them in our garden patch after his last "run" in the fall of 1957. Brother and daddy have both passed on, and I am now an old man, but I may just go back there one day and see if there's anything left of it. Thanks for stirring up a fond memory ! Keep on keeping on, friend!
29:26 could possibly be a bottom to a cane or a piece that covered a small table / furniture leg you know the ones I mean great finds today especially gonzo 😬 looking forward to the continuing saga thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
I’m a Hoosier and happy to see and read that Indiana may be an overlooked territory for artifacts and their history. We have settlers, war of 1812 and First Nation affairs, George Rogers Clark defeating the British west of the Allegheny Mountains, and Morgan’s brief tour of the southern part of the state. We also have Great Lake’s, Ohio River and Erie Canal stuff. Further, thank you for mentoring Matt. He’s going to research and sleuth out good sites the Chigg way.
Glad you visited my home state and found some old goodies. There's plenty here, but far from the colonial items on the East Coast. It's still awesome to get out and dig history!
Awsome as usual..inthink I'm gna detect tomorrow if I dnt ride my 🛵 I been craving a dig ..ticks are real bad right now went for a small dog walk got a whole bunch of em on us
I found a large cent just like that over here on the westside of Lafayette!!! That coin you found looks great buddy congratulations!!! You got to come back brother!!!! Lol
My favorite coin found detecting is a 1942 Walking Liberty half dollar on a Closed- old WI golf course. In my opinion, America’s most beautiful coin, front & Back.
It's been a few years since the first video I saw of the Chigg but he's definitely the reason I got into metal detecting! I don't post videos anymore but man what a blast it has been! Too bad there's no real way to contact you I saw you were in North Carolina recently. My son found a mid 1700's site just randomly in a field. Loaded up on buttons, gun pieces, and MOAR! Thanks for always being there to scratch our itch for curiosity!
Congrats on those coins. A nice variety. Have you thought of bringing toothpicks with ya to help clean off crusty coins instead of using your fingernails. What about a toothbrush, maybe???
You should get with Matt at Demolition Ranch or Off the Ranch. He just bought a large piece of abandoned property that needs some treasures founds. It make for some cool video content as well.
There’s a youtuber named arrowhead man that lives in that area. He finds nice Native American artifacts. I don’t metal detect but I would love to walk those fields. Thanks for the vid
That threaded piece you found that had the two holes in it actually looks like it might be part to a pressure cooker. Screws into the lid and then somehow connects to the Jiggler or pressure valve. Also seemed kind of funny that the older coins were right near the surface and the newer ones were a little deeper.
Chig, you know that that Large cent could have been in someone's old jacket pocket or in a jar and not necessarily associated with the age of the house, but the house may be a bit older than you thought, that is a possibility. just want people to understand that people collect or keep things around long after they intended to or maybe they did intend to but things tend to accumulate, and coins can be easily lost in the shuffle of belongings from earlier in life and from travels. just as they do today. for example, I have coins from early 20th century, but this house I live in was built in 1984. someday if one of those coins gets lost and ends up in the ground, you can't age this house by the date on on that coin!
When I go metal detecting I always bring a jar of water big enough to put large coins in and another filled with vinegar to get Reid of the crowd and rust
I was curious so I did a little googlin, there's a fraternal organisation called Loyal Order of Moose that had lodges in Indiana and they have a website for the Indiana Moose Association. That token might be something they would've shown to prove membership maybe? Hope they don't come for ya in the night now 😉😆
Hi Chigg, is there anyway you could leave links in the description of what equipment you use. I’ve been watching you for a while now and I’m finally in a spot where I have time and can start detecting with my 12 year old kiddo. Or, do you have any recommendations for a well made metal detector that isn’t gonna waste our time with bad quality. Anyways if there’s anyone out there who can suggest as well. I’m not sure if Chigg ever gets these notifications but if anyone knows what he uses that would be great to know. Thank you, and thanks to the community, y’all are very welcoming folks. Gratitude 🙏
Hey Chigg, great vidya! In your opinion, who do we have to thank for the debasement of our coinage, e.g., copper pennies being reduced to stinkin Lincoln zincolns!? Curious to know your take?

The copper thing that you found after Matts button was part of a Carburator/govenor linkage/cable part to connect for adjusting purposes.
