Hey Chigg, I've noticed that since I got to be 55 and on in years, I've developed allergies to all kinds of trees,weeds,grasses,etc. I always carry some Benadryl and an inhaler. Getting old is quite the adventure,lol. "Dirty hands are happy hands" 👍🤙
I lost my Garrett pin pointer and my goodie bag at the river a month ago when me and my hunny do were looking along the shore lines😢 Think I left it next to a tree😂I had my hunny carring my sifter, buckets and I had my metal detector and a hand full of rocks and old bottles. We love watching your adventures Chigg!
Nice! I haven't had time to watch too many metal detecting videos for pleasure lately. It was nice to get to sit down and watch this without any distractions.

I think there's a lot of goodies to be found there. Sure was a lot of shooting going on there. I hope you return and get in the water. There's gold coins everywhere if you ax me. 😜
I can answer your question about the nail in the rock. Being a geologist, I often marked sample sites with an aluminum tag, nailed into the outcrop with a stock nail. In this case, the tag was ripped away by local flooding!

They packed the 3" Shenkl shrapnel shell with 1/2" round balls. We found one that had burst underground and the fuze, all the iron pieces, and half inch round balls were in the hole 🙂👍

I think the older we get the more allergy prone we become, at least that is what has happened to me. You might want to take some allergy meds with you to take if you run into that situation again. Great place you found there for all those goodies. Love your adventures always.

It's funny, I watch a couple otherr metal detecting shows and they find a civil war bullet once in a great while and it seems exciting, you find so many every time you go out , it is like an arsenal dump where you go lol. You are just a much better detector than the others , you make it look easy. I remember the big hunt you went on and you won the grand prize and didn't even use a detector lol, that's savage.
Aquachigger only way you get good at anything is to practice if that's what they was doing you need to search where they was shooting from you find interesting personal items. Hope you feel better soon hot spicy foods can loosen gunk you has 👍🇬🇧🐾🦊🇺🇲

27:15 -- Was that the sound of someone firing a semi-auto? It sounded so much like a person knocking on my basement door that I actually went to check, then re-winded to listen again after not finding anyone there. Then it can be heard again around 27:40. That or someone hammering a nail -- furiously.
I would like to see you go back and see about getting permission for the other side of the river, if they were firing from over there than it might be some other good stuff from the war. Ty for the long video. You're the reason I bought a metal detector. Only thing is I haven't been able to find anywhere good to go and I don't know anyone that does this hobby so it's not like I can team up and go. So you're videos make my day cause I wish I was finding what you do.
I love your adventures! There’s an abandoned high school near here in East TN , I went past the other day. I’m trying to remember where I seen it. It would be awesome to detect the property. It’s all grown up with waist high weeds.
Nice spot to hunt for relics, have a picnic, or go for a swim. I have to say, I do get nervous when you slide your hands where you can't see; snakes you know. WV is full of 'em.

been getting the same symptoms. been noticing massive honeysuckle patches and pollen clouds. I think the are spraying stuff and its making more of a greenhouse. big weed mass and insect swarms
