  • Are you struggling with headaches on a regular basis? Dr. Cobb is back on the podcast to talk about the holistic way to approach headaches and why medication isn’t always the best solution. He introduces the different kinds of headaches and shares the difference between symptom control versus using different perspectives for treatment. He explains the anatomy that is connected to headaches and presents his treatment plan. Dr. Cobb talks about the three topics that influence headaches: diet, sleep, and water intake. He shares the role of movement, and he discusses why there is so much controversy about moving the body when feeling pain and especially headaches. He also talks about the importance of self-awareness and how listening to your body can change the perspective on pain. He describes the way massaging the head has an influence on headaches and he explains the role of using vision and vestibular drills to reduce the pain.

It is fascinating how Dr. Cobb is always enthusiastic and finds time in his (I’m certain) busy schedule for such calls! I listen to few of them, and sometimes even when his voice sounds tired, he is still making jokes and manages to simplify stuff that even total blonds like me can understand.
Celestine, thank you for inviting him and sharing your honest cases!
You are both full of fun and awesome information!
