Gps issues with galaxy s22 ultra, note 20 ultra and note 10 plus Part 2 of 3

- known GPS issue I have struggled with for quite some time. I've explored so many solutions online and I have two options that may work?

Hi Thank you for posting this video, it clearly shows the same issue i am facing. And for me the conclusion is easy. It is a samsung thing. I used to have pixel worked as a charm. My wife uses an iphone and when we switch in the car to her navigation there is no problem at all. So i am moving back to google pixel now.
I can confirm I have that issue on my s10+ and now I am using my old S8 and the same issue happens. I have tried better battery settings, and other configurations, it seems to reset fine after setting the airplane mode for a second but it may struggle again. I have gotten lost multiple times. Made go around in circles, being taken to cross major rivers without bridges, etc. It happens with any map app like waze or maps, uber, etc
I have Note 2 new, 10 refurb and 20 Ultra G new. The Note 10 refurb from ATT was a mess inside. One of the 2 microphones was missing! They just snap in. The other issue was a bad solder joint on the Wifi antenna. So never trust anyone's reconditioned phone. I ran Samsung diagnostics and it found these issues. I fixed it myself. All of these phones have good GPS. I use Otterbox Defender cases. It's possible some sort of case is an issue. Also it could be RF from another device.
Same issue wiat my s21 ultra, s10, s9, nesus. The fix I found is buying a Garmin gps bluetooth receiver.
actually I have fixed the gps issue with software update. I have had android 11, I just updated to android 14 and the gps issue is totally fixed.
I am having the same problem with my Note 20. But it only started recently. I have had this phone for 1.5 yrs. My Samsung A73 seems to be ok though. So strange
Same issue with the Samsung A54 phone.
I am having the same issue with both of my note 10+'s. I'm starting to think the update is doing it so I have to buy a newer phone...
I can go a whole 2hr ride and it searches for gps the whole time.
Vodafone, tell me to contact Google, Google tell me to contact Samsung, Samsung can't help fix the problem.
Really need to find a solution. 😢
I too have this problem. I do doordash a lot and this is so frustrating. I use an app called gps test to know when the gps is working. I have the s22 ultra as well. This is my 2nd with same issues. I have to Uninstaller the dasher app and shut phone down. And sometimes that works. Other times I have to restart many times. Once I get it working I have to use the maps all day to keep it working. Have you found any solutions yet?
I've found that keeping your gps toggle on all the time helps.
I have had to restart the phone also a few times and that normally normally sorts it out.
I would also recommend calibrating the location on google maps first each day hefore typing in the location. Hopefully that will help, but it should still be working better.
Also make sure you have your location permission for the app on 'Allow all the time'
@@tweefurs Have you since heard any knews about a fix on this problem? I feel like I'm going crazy since other people around me that have Android devices aren't having this problem, I am eargley waiting for a fix but I desperately need my google maps for work, I have even thought about switching to an iPhone for the first time in my life because my GPS is sooo bad.

I have a galaxy s9 , my phone is 6 or 7 years old . I tried everything , nothing worked , said screw it and got a new Apple i phone 15 .
I use a VIVO Chinese phone great GPS.
It's ridiculous. I can't use any astro app on my s22 ultra.
Try turning off power saving
I find that it only buggs out when i connect it tothe car if i just have it on the phone it works fine
