I hate the navigation line or anything at the bottom of the screen. The way I got rid of it completely is I went to settings-->display -->navigation bar-->select swipe up gestures. Then go to more options (right underneath) then select swipe from bottom or swipe from sides (whatever your preference is) Then the lines are completely gone.
In one ui 6.1, or atleast my device, that was taken away
@@jimmyispromo after One UI 6.1 update you need to install Good Lock and get Navstar module to enable that option back into your phone setting. Was confused too why its gone because its still on 6.0

On version "V6.1.05.45" of navstar they added this flag back: "Enable extra gesture settings Turning this option on will enable the swipe from bottom gesture and gesture hint settings in the navigation bar settings"
@@Leo4tomic That's right. I have NavStar in Good Lock turned OFF but the Enable extra gesture settings swiped ON. I'm glad that the option to remove the buttons is still there it's just annoying that you have go in a round about way to do it.
@@Leo4tomicyeah I'm stuck on the previous version of NavStar and being stubborn waiting for an update rather than installing the APK 😂 so I still have the taskbar on 😩

Hi Jimmy thanks for the video, I find your videos very helpful. I wanted to know if you maybe have an idea, I got an S24 and I like it very much. The only problem is that when I touch to wake it, it takes about one second to turn on, unlike previous phones I had (other galaxys, pixels) that were waking up instantly. I have tried many settings to make it quite faster, but to no avail. Do you maybe have a solution for it?

To completely hide the navigation bar, you can go back to display settings after what you've done on goodlock and you will find a new setting call gesture hint which you can disable and voilà, it's much gone.
If only that was there for me. It was and is disappeared a while ago

I hate that bar at the bottom. You can just remove the navigation bar gesture hint instead of making it small and transparent. You have to enable the option to show it in Goodlock > NavStar > Enable extra gesture settings. Then it's 's under Display > Navigation Bar > swipe gestures > more options.
Sometimes when you get a group message, this little half translucent bubble shows up over the bottom of the screen saying that text messages will be responded to in a group or something. It's the most pointless notification and it gets in the way of actually hitting the bubble when you want to reply. Is there anyway to make that disappear?

I do use the accidental touch because I used to have problems with pocket dialing or butt dialing.
Yeah, that gesture setting was the default on my S24 Ultra, right out of the box. That's THE first thing that annoyed me and the FIRST setting I changed immediately. I'm used to having the three gesture " buttons" , or hints.

One thing that annoys me is that I wish there was more customization to the alarm settings, for example, I have my alarm set for 6:40am M-F, now every once in awhile I'll have a day or 2 off from work and I won't need the alarm, but I wish there was a way to just bypass that day(s) without turning it off so you don't forget to turn it back on again and oversleep the next week.

@@levin1374 try setting up your pin again, right below the box should be the option saying "enter pin without confirming" or something like that, it's definitely there
@levin1374 alr i figured it out, your pin needs to be atleast 6 digits for the box to appear, tick it while setting up your pin then delete the last 2 digits after ticking it if you want to have a 4 digit pin with that option
How to turn off notifications panel access from the lock screen?
I dont know if you can do anything in the setting you can change. But jimmy when im watching youtube and it wont go to full screen. You can do the zoom screen but i like to watch it on full screen. The phone is small enough so that is why i used to watch it on the full screen. If there is any settings you can change to get it back that would be awesome. I watch alot of youtube thanks and another great video Jimmy

I bought a s23 fe phone in december. In the past 2 weeks, my qwerty board freezes or glitches when I type.
And it glitches while scrolling.
I went to an authorized dealer and had them check the phone. No software problems.
Went to my carrier and uninstalled all 3rd party carriers, which was Textra for sms and Good Lock. It is still glitching. Any suggestions I can do?

I have accidental touch protection turned on and if the screen is off but I have the screen in my pocket facing my body majority of the time the screen will somehow turn itself on and then get a ton of accidental activations.
Put the phone screen away from leg. May help
@@jimmyispromo I never put it in a pants pocket, but if I'm not paying attention will put the screen facing my chest. Being fat, that means there is more of me sticking out where it shouldn't be. I'm aware of that, BUT I still put the screen facing me once in a while if I'm in a hurry. I just turned off the accidental touch, now to see what, if any difference that makes for me. Still enjoying my S22U 1TB phone.

My animation scales is always going back to 1x from 5x don't know why
weird thing is that it should Never go to 5x. 1x is stock, .5 is what i use.
What I meant to say was any time I make it 5x it goes back to the stock 1x. Pls what can be the issue and it's a 4gig ram Samsung galaxy A04.
What happened to the vertical scrolling via goodlock?
For the app tray? It may be coming back. But mostly vertical is used for going back home or Samsung finder
@jimmyispromo yes for the app tray. It USED to have it but after an update a while back, it disappeared. I have an older phone running android 13 5.1 and it's still there

I'm not sure about the folder thing but the way I do it is to use Niagara launcher. Not only will it use less battery and be quicker than the default launcher, you will also receive notifications right on the home screen and reply to them without the need to pull down the notification shade. Niagara is an excellent launcher and I will recommend it all day long.

anyone knows how to zoom out the screen in samsung. The default zoom out is still pretty big. I want everything to look small.
The best way to avoid the annoying Samsung features is to not even get a Samsung Device.
Don't get me wrong Sammy does put some good phones out , they are just not for me. I've been with the simplicity of a Google pixel for about 3 years. I love it. Especially the call screen. I haven't had an annoying call in 3 years.
If only my boss wouldn't call, then all my annoying calls would be gone. 😂 I also got a Pixel and was happy with it until a couple of updates ago. Now the screen won't let me scroll half the time and the touch screen sensitivity is so bad. I really have to use almost brute force to get it to respond, esp when typing and I need to move the cursor. It just does nothing when I tap the screen. I'm missing my Samsung pretty bad now.
stop using S24 ultra and sell it.
