My Galaxy S23 Ultra GPS was switching off about 2 mins after reboot and was driving me nuts! Especially as it used to work flawlessly! While this GPS Status app didn't fix the issue it helped me to see what was going on. GPS satellites and Lat Long data was not showing in the app. In the end, I turned off using Bluetooth and Wifi assistance and when I returned to the GPS Status app suddenly all the proper data appeared! So the issue appears to be related to using the so called greater 'precision'. I have yet to try it out with Google maps but I'm feeling more confident now I can finally see gps data instead of the dreaded 'Searching for GPS...'.

HI! I'm in the last step right now..just waiting for all the numbers to show up. My question is, you said to put my phone down and not to move it. But if I let my phone inactive, the screen shuts down, which means I need to touch my home button (moving the phone just a little bit) just so I can see where I'm at. Is that ok? And how long in terms of estimate do I need to wait?

whole time ur wifi was on, that's taking GPS data from wifi isn't it?
Yep when you have apps that you permits to run gps even when you are not using it, that's taking data from your internet.
@@JustElio now i have issue with my phone not showing gps when there is no signal like in a hike, however spec says it supports A GPS does this mean it cant search by itself?

@@petrospavlidis4619 I overthought it ... and might come to a conclusion that it is the distance from other antennas like celullar 4G. Maybe they interfere. I put my GPS antenna, under the dash, somewhere upper side of the glovebox, but i think the man who installed it put the 4G on the same side... i was thinking about paying him a visit and tell him to put my GPS antenna right in the back of car, thus the distance is more effective onto the signal...

Brother it works for me but after some times it stops working and have to restart the process again
I got mine remedied by *CYBER_KOR* on Instagram. He is legit and a true pro. Also on WhatsApp.
So this GPS retarded issue is even on expensive andeois based phones. I'm not surprised. Where on Apple the optimization is spot on, no need for extra third party apps to fix the GPS 🤣🤣🤣. I use a nexus 7 2013 and a redmi9 and on both I got GPS problems at some point.
