- Here it is. MY2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio! The Giulia Quadrifoglio is a absolute beast of a car It runs a 2.9 V6 twin turbo engine producing 500 bhp through the rear wheels. This is a serious car and the new MY2020 Giulia quadrifoglio has already launched in the US. UK and EU models still waiting for official release date due to all the current world events. I can wait to drive the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio model year 2020 soon!
well taking what we know from the current my2020 Giulia that i was fortunate enough to go to Italy for the launch. We know that the interior will be much improved. Will we see changes to the engine? will we see changes to the design? its all exciting times and i cant wait for it to be launched!

Had my 2018 QV for two years now. Hands down the best car I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned Ferrari, Porsche BMW Mercedes etc etc etc
until it breaks down...
like my Mercedes CLK 63 AMG. Left me on the side of the road three times in four years. Nothing like getting towed.

I've test driven this car and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Both 510hp, one of them costing less than twice the price. At the end of the test drives, the Giuliani absolutely felt like what the Vantage could give to me, incredible performance and really couldn't tell the difference between them at all except that I have an extra back row of seats at the back
Amazing car 488 steering rack btw fantastic chassis and a beautiful suit of metal. Only let down by slightly jolty engine to gearbox hook-up and lack of sub 3000rpm torque and crappy plastics on mid tunnel and doors - good review as ever (as an ex Evo Magazine occasional car supplier car fan)!
No wonder it steers so well 🙌
I own a Giulia (Veloce) and I never touch the plastics in the mid-tunnel, I can assure you. The car is sublime.
@@apostolostvable fio front air vent to rear air vent in designer talk on a rwd car is mid-tunnel btw.... suspect you have used/rested on all the buttons and materials in this area - glad you like the car too🙂
Your 100% right about the smile when driving one. I test drove one before lockdown, and it cemented the need for this car. Will defo be getting this 2020 in the deep blue or the new green

Nice job. It's a great car but not the one that they can build on. I mean it's good for the image but how many they sell isn't important. That's not where the money is.
The real money to insure the future of the brand is in the normal cars. They are great to but don't sell and that's a big problem. Hope they can turn this around because Alfa is a great brand. It would be great if everyone here that loves the quadrifoglio but haven't got the money (yet) buy the (great) normal Giulia. That's wat really helps the brand. Now everyone talks but nobody buy's.
Its because people are stuck in the past, and dismiss Alfa Romeos as shitboxes, its pathetic, people don't do their research actually look at the cars. Alfa has slipped out of public consciousness and that will take years to fix. :/

I am driving for decades Alfa Romeo. Right now, my third 156, in mint condition. Latest model! Biggest psychological thing with people, because the Giulia is designed just some years ago, the design is an improvement to the 156. Rubbish, the front is almost the same. The rear door, with the ugly triangle second window is missing, causing it far more to be a sport sedan! There is hardly any car on the road, which is so timeless if it come to it's Bella lines! Of course the Giulia has better performance. But what's the use, hardly anywhere one can speed up over 100 km per hour. Only when in Germany. In Holland, at night I can push it to 130 legally. And as I keep my car in mint condition, I am laughing my head of, for not even € 3000,--

The paint colour on the front and rear bumpers doesn't seem to quite match the rest of the car. Still, I'd swap my Giulia Veloce for this in a second...
Finally found someone noticed 👌 , I heard that this is common in tri coat paint and misano blue , Is that right ?
The paint is the same. Just different painted surfaces. Same of my Trofeo White QV.
@@Amr-ee8iy My Veloce is Misano blue. I don't have this paint finish discrepancy on mine. I wouldn't be too happy with that for the money.

are you sure there is no d ifference between the 2020 engine vs previous years? alfaromeo canadian website has specs saying that the 2020 version has dual fuel injection (port+direct) ...2019 specs show only direct injection.unless the north american bound models are different than euro variants?
Put that and its competitors alongside each other and record the glances she would win hands down. Way back I had the GTV 6 so i know (when things weren't falling off)
The one unfortunate thing is Alfa has teamed up with acrapovic instead of one of the many established Italian exhaust manufacturers. Shame.
You are right far as bang for buck here in New Zealand prices have dropped and compared to the competition they are great value. But they are still out of my budget. At the moment. Thanks from nz great content and reviews 👍

Have to agree great cars not what they use to be,Alfa have to work harder getting the brand out there if they want to survive a better net work of garages they will not succeed just selling sporty guilias.

I have an abarth turismo, and called an alfa dealer in Inverness to see if they did hire cars, as the thought of doing the nc500(doing it end of Aug) in a corsa fills me with dread

Yes... We know that it's fast... We also know that it's beautiful because... it was fast and beautiful. Whole review without mentioning changes in infotainment system which was the main focus of this upgrade.

Do you notice a difference in cabin noise? I have a MY17 and I sometimes feel it's a little bit too much road noise and vibrations in the car.

Have they finally fixed manual gearbox in the new QV? Ive tested the old version and got so disappointed how the manual gearbox worked. Lag was so annoying, got to the point when I went back to the dealership and decided straight away to check another car with AT. Bought mine for ~59k $ after month.

I think the manual is gone since 2018, too little demand for manual.
