2020 Audi S3 Badge Swap: going from chrome to black

Car debadging is very popular here in southern California. What used to be called car debadging is now being commonly called a badge delete. But "deleting" the emblems from this Audi S3 doesn't stop there.

Hi there, I just bought a 2018 S3 and am looking on doing this the right way. I previously owned a 2009 A4 and did it the not-so-good way by spray plasti-dipping the badges. Im going to buy that 3M eraser tool, but would you care to tell me the other attachment you used to buff(?) after erasing the residue? I wanna make sure I do it all right without ruining my paint. That is simply not true if you leave the old residue behind the new emblem will not stick properly to the surface besides it's better to start fresh and do it the way he did it
