do you think they are loading for export or intermodal transport? They looked like run of the mill pine logs. Were they veneer logs for plywood? (they looked long for that) I didn't look that closely. We always used log trailers or tri-axles...but always from landing to sawmill, no export logs. There were log trailers on site there in this video....I mean the loading arm was mounted on one, for example.
You guys don't use log trailers, it's pretty strange to see for me, loading into enclosed trailers. What ever works I guess.
