Great video. Easier than finding the manual online.
Glad it helped
Received a dual pack from Costco and the battery draw was sooo tight to pull out. Used adjustable channel locks to break it free. Followed your instructions on the programming. thanks!

Thank you kindly for your answer. Much appreciated. 👍
No problem at all.
Setting mine up today, thank you sir!
Fantastic!
Be aware that if these are to be stored in freezing temperatures/over winter, you must empty the internal solenoid water by removing timer from hoses and setting the timer to open the valve to allow you to blow by mouth, the residual water from the internal solenoid. It's surprising how much water you will blow out. Approx. 4-5 ml came out of mine. Enough to crack a plastic housing solenoid if frozen into a confined space.
Thanks for the added tip! Yes, you should make sure that all of the water has been removed from the water timer before storing it for the winter.

Hi. Will it continue on past one week though as we often go away in the caravan for longer. I have set one of these up for my pot plants. Thanks. Mike. New Zealand. 👍
Hi Mike, Yes it will go longer than a week. I programed my automated water timers once and they ran for the entire summer.
OK, stupid question but once you put the timer on and set it, do you turn your water on? Does it just stay on even when its not watering?
Yes, You have to turn the water on. This is really a valve that opens up and releases to water to the lawn sprinklers for a certain amount of time.
Installed 2 front and back.. yards.. all worked EXCEPT the 12 hour intervals.. BOTH started at desired AM time this AM,,neither came on 12 hours later...
There might be something in the settings that is not getting activated.
@@HomeOwnerRepair 2 brand new timers and both having this issue? Weird
Hey man! Just bought mine yesterday set it up and tried it out it worked just fine set the timing for it to start today and it’ll show that it’s watering or whatever but no water comes out? What could be going on? Thank you
Is your water turned on?
Did you get this issue figured out?
Can i do every 10-15 minutes or is this model only capable of hours and days incriminate?
I don't think it gets that granular on the settings.
Hi buddy, how long do the batteries last, i snowbird and go back to New York for 3 months, thanks in advance.
They lasted 3 months over here. Our summer is 3 months pushing it.
@@HomeOwnerRepair thanks so much, people on the reviews said they lasted like 2 years.
What adapter do I need to connect a hose to the top rather than a tap?
You shouldn't need any type of an adapter, it should screw into the garden hose for you.
I have the timer set right and turned on auto, but it wont do anything to the water flow. It will run free when i turn the water on. No leaks, flows fine, but the timer wont stop the water. What do I do?
It is supposed to stop the water until the automatic valve opens to allow the water to flow through to the sprinkler. Maybe it is defective.
I don't understand why it shuts off from midnight to 7:15 AM if it is supposed to run every six hours. That's 7 hours and 15 minutes. That's 7.25 hours.
You may want to recheck the settings.

Thanks for watching.
Wait, but how do you set it to your time zone🤔
Just set the normal time in your time zone.
Hopefully after a year, you're still here - quick question.....on HOW OFTEN.... how to get to switch in that mode, from 7 MINUTES, to EVERY 3 HOURs.....you said Just keep clicking, but it doesn't switch
This model only has 6 hr ,12hr or 1-7 day presets for "how often". The grey one lets you set any hour amout for "how often" I should have bought the grey one.
Thanks for the reply.
Looks as though your question has been answered. Have a great day!
You’re a Louisian? Huh.
No we're in New England.
That glair ruined the video. Had to look elsewhere.
Sorry, can't control the sun
@@HomeOwnerRepair yes you can, just stand in front of it. view the video yourself before you post it and later, blow off commenters with sarcastic replies.
@@trevortrillion6037you must be pretty slow if you find this thing that hard to figure out. Or you can't hear very well because he explains it pretty clearly
