Mine arrived today from amazon. Unfortunately it cannot be programmed to run for five minutes at two hour intervals. At least I can't see anywhere in the confusing instructions how to do that. I have a koi pond that gets fed water at the intervals I mentioned, year round. I purchased it to replace a Melnor timer that got frozen in last weeks cold snap. My fault, I admit. So I will send this back to Amazon and look for a timer that can be programmed to do what I need it to do.
hello Yoli sorry to hear that the product is not working if it click and nothing coming out make sure your spigot is on and the shut off vale in the house is on. If those thing are on than the unit is not opening when its suppose to
so do you leave the water pressure turned on at the spigot at all times? and the Orbit product controls everything else? or does it somehow turn on the spigot for you?
Hello friend, I leave my spigot on all the time. This product do not control your spigot. This product has a built-in valve that opens and closes on his own when you set your timer.
FOLKS, DONT GET CONFUSED. The days is tricky. It doesn’t mean you want to water every SEVEN DAYS, it means, EVERY SEVENTH DAY. If you want it to go on every day for the entire year, you have to set it on 1 (ONE) If you set it on the 3, it means your plants WILL NOT BE WATERED FOR TWO DAYS.
Thank you, great instructional
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing your review I want to get one.
No problem! This one is nice and easy. I hope you enjoy it. More on the way!

Does it specify or indicate anywhere how long those 2 AA batteries will last?
unfortunately it don't indicate the battery life to my knowledge. I gave this to a family member and I ask them your question and they said no.
