I use a Ryobi cordless high pressure inflator. Works great and can pump up to 150psi
Awesome! Thanks for the recommendation!
HELL YEAH BOIIII
You already know my dude!!!
The bags aren't sitting quite right as there is a kink/angle to them. Looks like the upper brackets are mounted to far backwards. The instructions say to slide the bracket up to the weld. you can see a wide space between the bracket and weld at 35:53
We’re gonna look into that. Thanks for the info!
Have you done a 2021 or newer yet? I would like to know how it worked out for you.
We have not.
THOSE HELPED OUT A TON!! WE NEED TO SLAM THE TUNDRA NEXT!
Haha let’s do it man!
I finally started this project and I'm currently installing the bags. I really wish they thought of a better way to anchor the bags to the leaf spring. Once you bottom the bag out and try to screw the bag _just a little further_ to make it line up, the fitting will unthread itself from its hole. It doesn't actually have threads on the outside, it's more like grippy etchings that are in a reverse-thread position. Why they didn't have a fitting with actual normal threads on the outside so this wouldn't happen is beyond me.
The videos are great, and are about to be very helpful for me on my 2016 4x4. But I have to ask, why are you keeping the step bars and mud flaps on? That’s free and simple, and would help the looks a lot.
He loves the step rails and mud flaps lol 😆
I've been looking for a bump stop solution since I lowered my F150 because I know I've been bottoming out. I've shied away from air bags thinking I should just go with something more simple like modified Timbrens, but now I'm actually considering this. I have some questions, though...how low will the bags go? Were ya'll able to maintain the 5" drop in the rear?
Yes still able to maintain the drop in the rear. These bags are nice.
I see the bracket for the airbags sits in between the spring and the saddle bracket. this in theory should push the axle up a little bit. any issues with vibrations after the install? it took me months to get rid of a vibration on my truck and I'm paranoid. still on the fence about helper bags.
Zero vibrations or other issues
Wonder if this kit will fit a 14 f150 with a 3/5 🤔🤔
It should. On the site select your year it should be available!
I got f150 2020. Do I need the shock repositioning bar?
You might we didn’t need it for this year
@@ABrianLewisVlog yea. Cus I was looking and it looks Tight under there!
U didn’t use shock bracket on driver side???
Yes we did
On the video u guys didn't
did you installed after?
@@jcm45758 can’t remember one piece was for another year of truck I do remember but can’t remember which one.
Have you guys had any squeaking in the rear?
None at all
First thing you do when you get the kit is inventory everything! I received brackets for both 2021 and 2015…didn’t work and took IHC multiple tries to get it right. Parts labeled driver when they were passenger. Once I got it installed it’s great but what a fiasco!
Dang that’s wild. We have never had any problems out of IHC.
Same here (labeled wrong). They'll do for now, but will be swapping to BWoody bags.
Would this fit a ihc 4/6 drop ?
yes
Why in the hell would you lower your truck?
And why in the hell would you not?
@@ABrianLewisVlog oh because it’s a TOOL! If you want to look cool buy something cool. A truck needs to haul, it needs to tow, it needs to pull. You wanna be cool buy a Porsche 911 turbo S.
Lowering a truck just shows you know how to completely waste your money. It makes a truck basically worthless for what it’s made for, it’s like buying a snap on ratchet then cutting off the handle. If you have money to throw away go ahead. SMH.
@@jimsteinway695 still very functional. Also you’re entitled to your opinion. That’s cool but this is what he wanted to do with his truck. Still tows and hauls with it.
