Hi, Sophia! Because the bath basin never contained any body fluids, you do not need to empty the water or rinse into the toilet or bedside commode. Emptying the contents of the bath basin and rinse into the sink is appropriate.
Hi Ms. Julie, I love your videos, thanks for your help! I was wondering if you knew if Prometric in Texas will require us to do skills that require removal of our mask (such as denture/mouth care or feeding) due to COVID-19? My skills exam is late December.
Hi, Amber! Thank you Good! Good question! With the "Feeding" skill, masks stay on. You may still be required to perform this skill, but neither the patient nor the testing candidate will remove their masks. I've heard that mouth care and denture care were not being required to perform during this unprecedented time.
Hi, SuJan! There are some minor differences between Pearson Vue and Prometric skills steps in certain skills. Also, Prometric has a few required skills that Pearson Vue doesn't.

I did exactly followed your video and did not miss single step for this skill but still evaluator failed me. I did not get it from drying step she failed me. I don't even know what is the reason for fail. What should I do now ?
How are you Queen thank you for this platform .I was wondering if prometric still requires student to perform mouth care or denture care ?
Hello, is it necessary to leave another linen protector at the end?
What is Prometric. Should I follow Prometric ?
Thank you very much
May God bless you
I pass my exam today

Hello nurse I love your videos I’m a young teenager and I want to make sure I understand you about washing the vulva/vaginal.. do I wash from the Clitoris to the bottom of perineal line.. or do I wash from the perineal line up to the Clitoris I was kinda embarrassed on asking you.. but I need to make sure I’m doing it correctly thank you
Hi Nurse Jar, do i need to change my gloves when I remove the dirty chuck?
Hi, Sharon! For testing, no, you do not need to change gloves after removing the soiled chux.
Thank you future CNA
HI Julie! In Prometric Guidelines it says to leave the resident in a dry clean underpad. Do we add one after the removal of the one we put during cleaning or do we leave that one under them?? Thank you in advance

Hi, Innah! CONGRATULATIONS 👏! You #SmashedThatCNAExam!!!
For prometric are we able to lift the hips rather than roll them to the side
When placing linen protector
@@haileychang4990 hi the way i was taught is to ask the patient to cross arm and leg to the side to turn and then help to roll up the protective sheet under and then go the other side same procedure and removed the protective chux this way you are not going to hurt your back,,,
I'm so nervous since I have my skill test tomorrow here in Houston Tx, anyways I feel so much confident watching your videos.
Hi, Yaice! You'll do great! Good luck! Let me know how you do.
Hi can you do for me a care for man
Hi nurse jar, I tried looking, maybe I missed it, but do you have a video of peri care for a male as well?
Hi, Dmoranism! You're correct! I do not have a video demonstrating peri-care on a male resident. I will add this to my "To Do" list!
@@NURSEJAR thanks for replying! I will be the first one to watch the video! Lol 😆
Hey, so my cna teacher says to dump the water in the toilet? Would I fail the skill if I didn’t dump the water in the sink
@@NURSEJAR Thank you so much! How would you recommend practicing these skills in that case?
@@ambermaredia9879 Hi, Amber! I would practice these skills as usual.

Ms. Julie, is the same procedure steps for all that skills prometric in Texas? Thank you.
Hi, SuJan! There are some minor differences between Pearson Vue and Prometric skills steps in certain skills. Also, Prometric has a few required skills that Pearson Vue doesn't.
@@NURSEJAR Thank you very much for your valuable info, I’m going to take the test in Texas with prometric in mid of January.
