Thank you so much,i really learnt alot, because at first i thought u was supposed to take the patient off the bed before changed the bed, but now i know how to change it without taking the patient off bed 🙏🙏
Em, before you enter a room. Wash hands then glove up you don't carry possible bacteria or infection from ward room to ward room, You don't touch any aparatouse that could potentially have infection or bacteria on them, Gloves should be warn at all times until such time you leave the room, Facemasks should be warn at all times, PPE aprons should be warn at all times. PPE foot protectors should be worn at all times, You never enter a sterile room then create the ambiance for bacteria to grow, All PVC beds must be disinfected, Including all touch aparatouse,,technically a nurse should never enter a room bar it has been cleaned disinfected before every shift start. These vidioes dont support curant modern techniques.
The video is good but always always always use gloves... you want to protest yourself ... treat every resident/patient like they are infected ... for standard precautions and infection prevention... you never know what they are infected with so protect yourself
She used gloves the first time because the bedding was dirty (or contaminated) she removed her Dirty gloves so the new bedding won't get dirty from the old gloves(avoiding cross contamination)
Ya,I think it's because at first, the linen was soiled that's why she used the gloves but it's not advisable to use gloves while laying the bed because it may disturb you

She said only clean if necessary
Thank you.
I’m confused the first time she used gloves and the second time no gloves what’s up with that
The video is good but always always always use gloves... you want to protest yourself ... treat every resident/patient like they are infected ... for standard precautions and infection prevention... you never know what they are infected with so protect yourself
Confused here
She used the gloves for dirty linen, removd her gloves to handle the clean linen.

What if the patient is unconscious
If the patient is unconscious then they have to be two nurses
God bless you
،like
Please what if the patient is an unconscious patient who will hold the edge of the blanket
Your tuck it on patient's shoulders ❤
Thank you ❤
why didn't she put on gloves when making the second part of the bed
The linen was clean at that point and so the infection risk is low

Very informative but can't you experiment with real patients? Let the experiment be real.
What about patients who can't even move a bit ?
Still the same procedure
