Nurse Jar videos helped boost my confidence. I wasn't even nervous during the exam. I was flowing. To my surprise, I failed because I ran out of time as fast as I thought I was. When in actual fact I was scared I'd actually fail for being too fast. Then the evaluator dismissed me like I was nothing since I had already participated as a client. It was the worst day of my life ever. I'm retaking again tomorrow and hoping for the best. Thank you Nurse Jar for the uploads. They really come handy.
Nurse Jar I can't thank you enough for your videos! I watched them and studied and practiced everything and I passed my test with 100% on all of the skills!! thank you so much for your videos they were essential!
Nurse Jar, thanks to your videos I passed my CNA skills with 100% on all of my tasks. Thank you so much for all your hard work in creating these useful videos 🎉😊
I watched all your videos and I happened to get this as my skills for my test along with feeding a patient and range of motion and I passed my skills test. Thank you 🎉😊
Hy Nurse Jar.. you've even accelerated my interest pasuing a C N A course following your detailed and elaborate demonstrations.. I'm getting prepared in advance n I shall pass with flying colors😅 .. kudooos ❤💜💙 Nurse Jar💋
If anyone is in Cleveland ohio I totally recommend going to premier care solutions in Euclid Ohio the lady is soooo nice as long as u state your bold lettered steps she will pass u. I was so nervous swore I failed but I got 100 on all 4 skills pericare on female with hand wash, ppe denture care, position patient on side. I thought I completed failed but realized I did all steps in bold so I passed
The way we were taught to wash hands was pretty much how you did it except for we didn't pat our hands to get excess water off or take the paper towel and rub it up our arms. We pat away from the dirty area not up to it because we only washed our wrist and hands not our forearms.
Do we have to have them raise their hips when providing peri care can tuck the barrier pad under them then have them roll f4om left to right to put barrier pad under them
Hi, Fritzline! Not really understanding what you are asking! But, if you are testing under Headmaster, it is required for you to use actual hand sanitizer whenever you are required to wash your hands.
I did skill test last week and fail. They sent me my results in mail but they don’t tell you which steps you missed. What I know I missed leaving a call light to a patient and water, I called the real name of my patient instead of calling him the name on scenario, and I run out time before I do respiration yes I should do it after taking pulse immediately but I was shaking like very bad. I don’t know why I was scared that much. My question is does all that I missed automatic fail? I will do another one on Monday may 9th. What are your advice for the second try?
does prometric not care if you get the groin area (where the leg meets the body) during peri care? I ask because some videos show cleaning it, some don't. I feel like I would go ahead and get it anyway while I'm there (with a clean part of the wash cloth)

Great so as long as you do this you pass. Please I hope my mother never comes under your care
very helpful and thorough

Same here, we have to start at the fingertips and work towards the dirtiest area, patting and not wiping
Nurse Jar you touched the water handles isn't that not permitted cause the faucet handels are dirty?
Do we have to have them raise their hips when providing peri care can tuck the barrier pad under them then have them roll f4om left to right to put barrier pad under them
Excellent 👌
Thank you for your video, can the intimate area could be cleanse in a more gentle way?
you are super. you'd be a great CNA if you were practiced this profession.
Hi, McKenson! Thank you! I'm a very proud Nurse and Educator!
Great video
Hi Nurse Jar, I see that you sanitize and put on a second pair of gloves is this a requirement from Headmaster? Thank you
Hi, Ree! Yes! How I demonstrated performing this skill is how Headmaster requires the testing candidate to perform it during testing.
@@NURSEJAR okay thanks
How many minutes do u have to do all 3 skills test?
Usually 5 mins per skill
25-30mins depends on the state in Wisconsin we have headmaster and it’s 30min
Do these steps qualify for Ca ?
Hi Julie, if I use the sanitizer it's good.
Hi, Fritzline! Not really understanding what you are asking! But, if you are testing under Headmaster, it is required for you to use actual hand sanitizer whenever you are required to wash your hands.

Hi Julie, do you have to use a privacy blanket with Headmaster?
Hi, Florence! No, you do not.
This is for SC to right?

Hi, Aline! You most likely failed because you ran out of time.
Hello did you pass on the second attempt?
Hey nurse Jar, is real water used at the test ground or simulate the use of water? Thanks for the video, they are very useful
It’s real water lol
I love you ❤

good job, CNA jar
I was taught to clean over bed table after removing barrier is this true to do
Not for headmaster, it’s assumed that it was already sanitary and as you used a barrier you won’t need to clean it.
Nurse jar how do you tell where the designated dirty area is found in the test room or can you ask the supervisor where it is found pliz and thank you
Hi, Fauzie! The NAE will give you a tour of the test room and will let you know where everything is.
Do you know how many questions you have to answer correctly on the skills testing for the Headmasters? The state of Michigan just switched to Headmasters. Thank you
80% or more on each skill and you can’t miss any bold steps on a skill or Its an automatic fail.
@@SelenaBria ok thank you
@@SelenaBria what is considered bold? Thank you
Do you have to use a privacy blanket because I was taught to use one , but I see you did not. Just curious 🥰
Hi, Kenna! If you're testing under Pearson Vue or Credentia, no, you do not. If you are testing under Prometric, yes, you do.
So u use your dirty gloves that you just cleaned a bottom than touch the bed remote?
Well I dont think theres much more you can expose.
🙏🙏😇😘😇😘
