Max Muscle Leg and Back Workout

  • This is 'Peak Week' for my band Pillar's first show going down this Sunday. So I took a different approach with legs today to avoid any tweaking of my lower back and/or hip before trying to rock. I pre-exhausted the quads with leg extensions then kept most reps for legs higher in the 15-20 range except for the front squats. The time I got to the squats my legs were fried which is what I was aiming for. I still took these sets to failure and the higher reps burned like heck. I'm sure I'll be really sore tomorrow, but my lower back will feel fine ;) Most of this week I'll be practicing my bass and getting ready for the show. On Thursday I was booked to play a surgeon for a commercial. Then Pillar will rehearse Friday and Saturday. It's going to be a busy week. I hope you all had a great day.
