Looks so fun! Our Homeschool Christmas Curriculum has us making orange pomanders and this video has been so helpful to show how exactly to do it. The kids and I are going to give it a try today! Thanks for your video!
I have made these for many years and I have a mixture that is cinnamon nutmeg Ginger orris root which is a fixative, and allspice. You can get the recipe probably from Google. Once you have the clothes in them you cover them with all those spices and let them dry and then they last forever.
If they dry out correctly they can last years! Another commenter shared details on a recipe for added spices to sprinkle on which also extends how long they last!
This is a helpful and adorable video. Thank you!
I’m so glad you liked it! 😊

Wow great idea! They must smell amazing 🤩
These take me back to my childhood in the 1970s. i haven't seen the carving into the skin though.
The carving was quite fun and good to get even more creative with it! Also smells amazing of course
I am dying to make some of these. Can anyone out there who has made these before tell me how long they last? Thanks!

Did it last?
Sadly one got that citrus mould and ruined the whole bunch! But I am going to try again this year!
