Taliesin is better at telling the future than Norzdomu
Bobby would be proud of how shitty 10.5 has launched
Not hard tbf
@@charlesdobronxcharlesdobro4660 literally one part has a little bit of lag. Get over yourself
It's bronze Tali now 🙂😊
@@charlesdobronxcharlesdobro4660 It's always fascinating watching WoW players melt over the smallest inconvenience while in other MMOs people thanks god when they get a fraction of WoWs quantity of content lol
Best intro for me since launch of Dragonflight when they were welcoming the dragons in Stormwind and Orgrimmar, while having dragon heads impaled everywhere.
Brilliant!!! Well Done!!
The proto-dragon got me! 😂
I love that, even with the power to use freeze frames, Tali chose to just freeze and let us watch him hold a pose in real time.
I was in a pug raid the other day where the aug evoker immediately started asking us not to kick him. We all lined up and hugged him. Poor guy had some trauma.
I honestly believed those that kicked augs because of their damage deserved to have all their keys bricked for a week, and their raids to fail for the same period. If your too willfully ignorant to know how a new spec works in this game. I've got no time or sympathy for that person or persons.
Good on you & your group. Hugs are good.
I've noticed between my experiences and my guildies' experiences, either you get kicked for low DPS, or all the DPS in the group argue over which one of them is carrying the group.
anyone that play that fake lizzard race, deserve a kick. not just the augaymantation ones.
what trauma? getting invited too many m+?
I'd go one step further and say that the reason they protect this "one true timeline" is because it's the timeline where the Titans have the most control/influence. It would make sense what with the Titans whole thing being "order" that they would mold the timeline where they have the most to gain.
I mean that's already implied in some of the new text we've seen
What about Uld'roth though
You forget to mention that Nozdormu can remember what Chromie said to him in the End of the Dungeon. That it is worth fighting for the World.
Small gripe: aren't draenei eredar as well? I thought eredar is the race, while draenei are eredar in exile (so the difference between quel'dorei and sin'dorei at least initially, prior to tapping into fel magic) What we're getting is the option to tint them as man'ari.
Yes Eredar is the name for the dominant species of Argus.
Draenei are a culture of Eredar who fled Argus with Velen, venerating the Light but not directly empowered by it to the same degree as the Lightforged
Manari is a slur in eredun (the language of Argus) Meaning twisted unnatural, this is what most would call Eredar in game. Fel tainted Eredar
Krokun means broken and is an Eredar that has had Fel Corruption inflicted upon them, withering them significantly and cutting them off from many forms of magic
Lightforged are Eredar in direct fealty to the Light, physically reshaped, molded and influenced by the Naaru
All of these types of eredar are at most 5-10 generations apart. In theory they can all still have children together. But there has been some linguistic drift between Argusian-Eredun and Draenic-Eredun (draenei language). Draenei live for thousands of years, and their children mature slowly. A Draenei child Durotan had met as a child was still the same size when he was fully grown young adult (early 20s human yrs). These populations of Eredar (Manari, Draenei and Lightforged) have had enough time to become culturally diverse and different, but not enough to properly separate biologically. Now magical intervention/influence/meddling can throw a spanner in anything but 10000~15000 years is not enough time for things not appreciably change between them
I just hope the forsaken heritage questline also furthers the Lordaeron story from 9.2.5, its crazy to me that we currently have so many unused cities in the game AND so many technically unhoused races. Honestly it would be a good parallel if both the night elf and forsaken heritage quests were at least in part, about them rebuilding their homes (well, relocating for the elves)
Love having you two in the WoW community.
Also, a speculation video on would be interesting for heritage story lines.
Im honestly surprised that Taliesin thinks Iridikron will die in this exp, for me its so obvious that he will pull a Gul'dan and survive to the next. If im to bet on the fate of every incarnate, Iridikron will survive to the next exp, Fyrakk will die and Vyranoth will be redeemed
Guldan, garrosh, sylvanas... this is the 4th I'm aware of
just want to say that i've been watching your videos for a long time, but never said -- you guys absolutely glow when you do something together. it's really beautiful. individually you're obviously both very passionate about gaming and your streaming, etc...but when you do it together you really come alive. it's perfect
Lets not forget that the Tyr weapon mentions Uldaz , a zone we havent been to yet
Avaloren
Khaz Algar
And Uldaz.
All potential new zones that blizz is sneaking teases into the game similarly to how they left hints of Zereth Mortis before its official name drop
In an epilogue quest.
Very simple solution to augmentation; just make them have flat buffs. Like how Blisstering scales just does X damage/hit.
This way it won't scale to absurd heights by stacking buffs.
And it'll also make it possible to actually keep track of their own damage....
It's really not that hard, and honestly, the fact that they went with this implemenation given the obvious flaws is astonishing.
7 minutes into the video and i cannot stop laughing about that protodrake whelp offering the quest there
Right! I love this especially because I see him every time I log into an alt 😂
Yay eredar monk with the red stone fist. I still have my Hellboy
That drake hovering there offerings the quest is as triggering as Talisdormu expected it to be by putting it there
The Forsaken and Night Elf sets came sooner than I expected, although it could mean the Troll, Draenei, and maybe the Pandaren set too might come out in 10.2.7
I hope we get Flappy as a companion like we did Newsy.
Hot take: if we're doing "break away from the titans as unquestionable gods", then having a leader of the non-Titan dragons survive to make peace with the Aspects is probably helpful. And we all know which one they'd do for that beat.
Hey Taliesin! Great video, very interesting content and I do believe you are correct about your Emerald dream raid prediction. I do want to say that I don't think it's fair to say the one comment in your video where you said that there was "a sense of lack of urgency in Dragonflight", referring to how there isn't some cataclysmically bad thing that we know about yet that could end all life, like the Jailor, N'Zoth, Sargeras or whatever.
A lot of players have been complaining about wanting to go back to the whole "killing boars in Sentinel hill" rather than killing god-tier enemies every Xpac. I don't think it's fair to ask Blizz to shift the urgency and power of the enemies down and then complain about it later. Just a thought.
But otherwise, great video!
The best part about this channel is even if an aspect of the game is bad, Taliesen manages to smile and laugh.
It's basically the opposite of Bellular's channel..
The true timeline issue doesn't just opent he door for us abandoning the titans. It opens the door for Azeroth to be born. Destroying the world while we make a last minute escape to another timeline.
Wow 2.0! Lol
I think they implied that the World Soul *can* be born without breaking the world, if they're born correctly. Sargeras was clearly not gentle with Argus, leading to the planet's damaged state.
the quest dragon!!!! lmao. give whoever did that a payrise. love it. ❤🤣
You guys think Medihv will save us again? Since he was aware of the void threat and "left to learm more" awhile back in Karazan?
What was the proto-dragon with the quest all about??
its for the whelpling daycare dailies, the lil dragon automatically pops up on every alt you log. ive had to accept the quest like 5 times already haha
I love that you guys gave moudi his credit! 💚 I love how that guy brings us all the info as he figures it out. Love that dude! Great job you two!
In regards to the paracausal flakes thing; buy the cheap transmog items. When you get a reward flag, it checks the list and then picks from anything you haven't received yet(Or have 3/3 of, in pet cases) and gives you that. The only exception is the 402 item stuff
I love that you have the proto whelp with a quest behind you as you are talking lmao. That little guy has been so eager to talk to me as well.
Yes please for the video podcast - that would be amazing! Also, so hyped for Emerald Dream patch (too much to hope for an entire expansion I guess)
the secret of azeroth is not a 2 day event, they placed 2 events with a day difference and if i remember correctly one ends on the 12th of September and the other ends on the 13th (I can't see now from the app, if you're interested i can login tonight when i come home)
I like Iridikron, and would love for him to stick around instead of being flavor of the expansion. :D
Hard agree!
19:18 Draenei are Eredar, that's just the name of their race. What you(and twitter) ment to say is Man'ari options.
Secrets of Azeroth event is not a 2 day event. It has 2 different starting times, but it actually lasts for about two weeks; the end date is later on in august (of which there are also 2). Mysterious!
it's not mysterious really, it's just showing 2 starting times and 2 end times just because its showing korean time and european time for some reason. obviously just a bug to be showing the korean time as well on the eu calendar but we can still clearly see that it starts on aug 31st and ends sept 14th for eu.
That "lag" at the start was great 😂. I had one today that kicked a ton of people out of the boss instances saying "instance crashed" after i loaded and walked like 2 steps. By the time it let us back in the boss was killed by those who werent kicked.
I love the little proto drake with the quest behind you the whole vid :D
as a eu guy i love that the us are beta testing every patch for all of the other players, thats so nice
It also makes sense why Raz was one of the more deadly as she would have personally had eggs whereas the boys just fertilized eggs.
I imagine a container or kubernetes pod catching on fire every time a time rift starts. Game moves as quickly as I do after I was disabled.
Unused quote from when S Priests could hold Xal'atath
Xal'atath whispers: A powerful dragon could be a powerful tool. Alas, gone are the days of Galakrond.
I had 0 motivation and incentive to log into wow before this patch... and I've been completely HOOKED ever since it came out! Absolutely loving the lag fest and looking forward to what's coming next!
honestly the lag is annoying sure but.. hasn't been that bad and i play on a full server and i havent once been kicked out or not been able to finish a rift so i'm still enjoying them a lot. doing the daycare and eons fringe dailies plus finishing some older stuff like snail dailies in the cavern.. i'm having lots of casual stuff to do besides raiding or m+ and it's been feeling nice
The class xmog is actually a step further or speculated to be spec specific. The dh and dk versions support this as the dk has colors matching specs and dh has similar
Fun theory about the other "Dwarves": The Void Lords, and their ilk, are like the remnants of the previous universe, and the curse of flesh is imparting characteristics from the past universe denizens on the current universe beings who are "infected". That, or some time shenanigans yet remain to be uncovered.
Unfortunately, something that didnt come with the 10.1.7 PTR is a fix for Zandalar. Still can't unlock trolls because half the city is phased incorrectly, and still no sign Blizz even knows this is a problem.
20:06 The sound effect you used for this video when showing something like this, sounds a lot like slamming a drawer :'D
I feel like I’m seeing a lot of people on Twitter trying to convince themselves this isn’t a good expansion. The criticism is eye roll worthy.
I have a bit of a disappointing theory about Khaz Algar, sector AR-938 and the distinct yet similar earthen that were sent to investigate the fissure at AR-938.
I think Khaz Algar is the Dwarven name for the Dragon Isles, I think AR-938 is Zaralek Caverns, and I think the earthen that were sent to investigate became the Djaradin. Read the Observational Report: Earthen with the Djaradin in mind and you might also start coming to the same conclusion.
The reason I said disappointing isn't because such a revelation is in itself disappointing, its more that we have spent this much time with the Djaradin in the story and "completed" the zaralek caverns content and *none* of this has progressed. No one in-game is making any kind of correlation and any opportunity to reveal that the Djaradin and Dwarves have a similar native language has not been addressed at all.
The point about how the writers of the observational report seemed confused that the curse of flesh, which they thought would be isolated to the Kalimdor supercontinent, managed to reach a group of earthen that were separated by such a large distance is the key trigger for me. Their conclusion seemed to be that the cause was their proximity to the anomaly, an anomaly which I am starting to think was the result of whatever was trapped beneath what would eventually become Aberrus, and is the original source of shadow flame. I'm under the impression now that the version of the curse of flesh that afflicted the Djaradin was engineered by the being that was trapped there.
There are obvious holes in this, but they are not unexplainable holes. Mainly that "why would the watchers be unaware of the source of the anomaly if there is an Old God imprisoned there by the Titans?" There are two "easy" answers. 1) It wasn't the Titans that imprisoned this Old God, hence why none of the architecture in the entirety of Aberrus matches any existing Titan facility. 2) The watchers were unaware because their knowledge is based off the edited version of 'The Old Gods and the Ordering of Azeroth' which only stated four Old Gods instead of five (this itself is holey due to the original text claiming that the five were imprisoned by the Titans and yet the prison in Aberrus is seemingly not of Titan make, but does explain why the Watchers would be unaware of it).
Now, again, I hope I'm wrong because of how non-existent the reveal of the Djaradin being former earthen is, but I must admit, the conclusion that the void-being/old god that was in the Edge of Oblivion was imprisoned by something other than the Titans really does pique my interest. The Old Gods did not like each other. Imagine if _they_ imprisoned the being here and the Titans just copied the technique from them?
Dranei can be erandar now but Forsaken still can't stand up straight.
I like the baby "Eggs in Abundance" baby dragon behind Taliesin 🤣🤣🤣
Wish I could see the mega-dungeon cinematics. I cant seem to get a pug group that can down the second boss.
That’s crazy, I full cleared with my first pug group, took like 3 hours cause of the last boss but we did it AND i got the mount drop
Not to be mean but maybe you also aren't too good at the game alongside everyone else you've queued up with? The dungeon is really easy to complete tbh
@@TheSilverwing999 IDK man, Im doing it on my 440 enh shammy. Im doing the mechanics just fine they arnt that hard like you said, others just cant seem to do it. Its pugs, what can you do lol. Im not in the cool kids click in my guild so i dont get 5 man invites lol.
Single best speculative Lore video I've seen during Dragonflight
How and why? It KEPT my attention throughout the video
I was NOT expecting to have this much fun watching this. A milestone video imho but I check in on 1 - 3 videos every 3-5 years
Love
OMG the lag part at the beginning. My SOUL
The Friends of the Dragons defending the new World Tree and the Dream would be a great way to lead all classes into learning how to be a druid.
Imagine a Drust-based Forsaken druid come 10.3!
The Kul Tiran humans are already Drust-based Druids, so we have them.
Neat idea, but Blizz would have to put resources into very specific forms for each race. I'd love it, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Maybe piecemeal, but not all at once.
Kinda dumb we somehow couldnt do both in the time dungeon. Our future or alternate selves work with us all the time, so really we should have been able to stop both bad things
I want Iridikron, Xalathath, Azshara (and maybe Sire Denathrius) to be free agents, not caring about defeating the current ruling power for their own brand of power. Instead, imagine a party from different origins completely going against the established order the first ones made for the cosmic forces to "break the wheel" (and not like the Jailer who would've wanted to prevent this by winning the cosmic struggle for death.)
I think some agents of chaos would be nice, and I could see Iridikron, Xal'atath, and Daddy Denny being those. Especially since these three in particular have/will have a big target on their backs from their own forces (Iridikron wanting revenge on the Titans, Xal'atath helping us destroy N'zoth, Denathrius allying with Zovaal) AND other forces as well.
THE DRAGON WHELPLING! i love the editor
"Unlike ANY EVENT WE HAVE EVER SEEN BEFORE!"
You winz the interwebz
Titans be like, "You protodrakes are gonna be dragons!" and the Incarnates be like, "I AM MY SCARS!"
I was so angry... On wednesday i found THE BEST TEAM with likeminded people to play the new dungeon with and it was going fine just progressing without watching guids and stuff when suddenly the server went down on us and we were never able to all be online at the same time... Havn't finished the dungeon and havn't played the patch anymore since then cause i'm so bummed out.
I feel like if blizz just made a support role it would fix 95% of the problem with aug. makes the difference more understandable for less attentive players. blizz could also limit the effectiveness of buffs from players not in the support role and the amount of supports in a group could be capped
Why do I feel like Iridikron sending the others to attack the new World Tree is just like the assault on Aberrus? 25% to achieve a primary goal of his, but 75% just to get us out of the way of his plan with this Harbinger.
There never was cross realm mailing advertised, it was always said as cross realm TRADING, which did work.
Time rifts are wild, I have done one where there were hundreds of people but also did one where there was 2 people...
Anyone know if Tali is going to make a deep dive into all the new video content? Cutscenes etc
Honestly it sounds like Blizz is making this stuff just for me specifically. Emerald Dream, Void stuff, class transmogs.
Best expansion.
i love both of those themes too... really hope we get emerald dream and then void major patches. i've been wanting a full blow void lords expansion with ethereals and stuff for years now, there's a lot of unexplored things there still
I'm hoping to see double fel orcs (red).
And moonkin customization options.
The only UA-camr(s) I watch for WoW news. Keep it up! I also do check out the stream on Twitch from time to time. Fun stuff.
I think they intentionally dialed back the urgency. instead of having world threat after world threat that we need to keep saving the planet, we get to just take on some bad guys for a bit. For me I like the idea of facing down villains without feeling like my character is the only thing stopping total world annihilation. That was a big gripe people had in past expansions.
19:41 Your draenei warlock transmog is on point!
Haven't had an issue with Time Rifts in a couple of days. Avoid raids if you can.
I really would like to know, given that Nozdormu was turned into Murozond even while still a proto-drake, it makes me wonder if he was originally supposed to become Murozond and the timeline we're on is altered. It doesn't make sense for him to become Murozond before Titan involvement and empowerment with Time magic unless he was originally supposed to be Murozond.
my best guess is that the Infinites brought enough time magic of their own to pull it off? but that *is* a damn good point.
Secrets of Azeroth isn't a 2 day event it goes until mid September.
As one who's been catapulted from ship to ship. Yes, you do make it!
So the only heritage armors left are Draenei, Troll, and Pandaren? I doubt we'll see Dracthyr heritage armor anytime soon though it'd honestly suit them a ton.
I love these videos from T&E. Thank you.
In game calendar indicates Secrets of Azeroth is 2 weeks long. There were arrows in Valdrakken after the patch came up that I was following & were driving me nuts b4 they removed them - my guess is they will show up again during this new event.
I love how you completely ignore the lil drake with the quest just like i do on every character. I barely even notice it anymore
The fucking whelpling lmao love it
Are we playing the same game? The time rifts are just like the other maim/kill scenario's they've instituted since the DF pre-patch.
Primal Storms Pre-Patch Event - go to a zone, mindlessly kill mobs, loot currency, gain XP
Primal Storms Dragonflight Event - go to zone, mindlessly kill mobs, loot currency, gain XP
Cobalt Assembly - go to zone, mindlessly kill mobs, gain powers, loot super rare receipes, gain XP
Primalist's Future Event - go to zone, kill rares, get loot & currency
Forbidden Reach - kill rares
Time Rifts - one-shot meaningless mobs, fight lag to tag a boss, get currency & loot
Does anyone else see a pattern here? Where's the innovation? This is the "great content"?
What I was expecting from the Time Rifts were what we got from the Campaign questline where we traveled to Dragonblight and encountered the Murloc civilization. Traveling to old school Nya'lotha. These were some of the best quests in Dragonflight. They were unique and fun. We got a glimpse of other universes and time lines. This is what we should have gotten.
Imagine this..
The time rifts open in Thaldrazus, scourge, enemies of the Black Empire, murlocs, burning legion.. they start entering our world through the time rifts (one type of enemy per event). After fighting them back for 5 mins, we then travel to their time line. We're greeted by a small quest hub with some dialogue from the local NPCs. There's some storytelling, a bit of background of what is happening, and a small mini-zone to participate in. There's some varying degree of quests, some puzzles, secrets.. The dev team could go wild with this.
Imagine going to Azmourne and there's scourge everywhere. Zone bosses to defeat, Arthas is there and he's interacting with the player base just like he did during Wrath. How much cooler does that sound than what we've got? Imagine traveling back to Azq'roth and seeing all 5 Old Gods in the background.
Each event could spawn every 6 hours, but overtime /weeks they become more frequent. The time rifts are changing, becoming more chaotic. It also helps prevent player burn out, even if you didn't acquire that one transmog piece, or item you really wanted in the beginning, well now you have more chances to get it.
imagine all the cool mounts, toys, transmog they could have created with this. So much protentional.. wasted. It's like they didn't want to dedicate enough resources to the team developing this and instead we got a copypasta. We have about 10 more weeks of the season if we go by season 1's schedule (20 weeks). This content is supposed to give us another 10 weeks? The raid is basically done because it's so easy. Mythic plus is so bad because no one wants to heal. Time rifts will be obsolete in a total of 3 weeks.
It's like Korven the Prime told us: Our gods are not OUR gods.
Chef's kiss on adding the protowhelpling that none of us are gonna grab that quest from
The problem with limiting the buffs is it will create a a soft block for the spec. My guild Already limits each raid group to two. Obviously this needs an adjust but I’m not sure what they should do without hurting the spec.
16:15 Wouldn't that make the time rift where the Titans win our future instead of just another reality in the time rifts?
lol me waiting for you to address the little messenger for Whelp Daycare the whole video. Great detail.
I'm waiting really hard on that podcast... Really! Also, please create a playlist for it
Omg the little annoying dragon behind lmao so good
It would be so funny if it turned out the Incarnates don't care about the new tree, just Alex assuming it and we all get to be massively surprised that the world isn't all about the night elves.
Bruh, I'm losing it at the flaps with the whelp questline behind tali
There is an incredibly easy fix to time rift lag.
Do it in WM. Then there isnt enough folk to cause you to become a power point.
Think the main problem is people keep forming massive raid groups and parties when you don't need to
@@NekhiaTaylor If you don't form parties you have no chance at tagging mobs lmao
“There’s an Undead banner too so ting ting mofos” KILLLLLEEDDDD ME LOL
The night elf heritage armor shoulder’s are giving me Sylvanas vibes
That intro was A-fucking-PLUS!! Well done.
Where's my fel orc skin to go along with the man'ari skin, Blizz???
The flamedruid appearance might be a little reward to ease the pain in the butt, when blizz burns down the next tree and gives a big middlefinger to nightelves.. xD
Galakrond (and void galakrond like the Priest card)
was the main character in the Dragon Expansion in Hearthstone, i think bit a bit they bring us clues
Can we just take a moment to be impressed by the transmog during in-game cinematic, your character looking like she belongs
I realized at the new shirt drop that I was wearing the "Hear, Feel, Think" shirt today.
As of a few hours ago, Aug's buffs are now only applied 4 times per person.
You should have Garrett as your first guest on the podcast!
I hope the culmination of all of this is an awakened azeroth fighting against all the cosmic forces, titan, void and light for the sake of everyone living on azeroth. Elune could step out of the shadows as it were on our side as well.
I think it would be cool if Alexstraza decides to bury the incarnates together as a permanent reminder of our victory and as a way to pay one last respect to her old friends. In the future Iridikrom inevitability uses himself as the vessel for the energy siphoned from Galakrond and begins to consume like his predecessor. He makes his way to the Dragon Isles and defiles his siblings grave, consuming their corpses and begins to burst with elemental power. I'm just picturing a enormous void and elemental infused Iridikrom on the front lines battling one of the Titans.
For the airship rift, jump off the Horde ship and you'll be teleported to the Alliance ship. :)
