For me the trading post worked fine with that one day delay (which doesn't bother me). I bought the pet (that little cyclops is soooo cute) and I'm looking forward to the next month's selection. The vaults....hm. I'd like to see them implemented like this: 1) Not on a rotation - once it's open its open and you can choose whichever vault you want to enter. 2) Permanent unlocks, not repeatable grind. 3) I'm not a fan of these rings. Would be better to get some M+ gear out of these that can be upgraded with valor points - but without these stupid caps on upgrades which forces people to run higher M+ which kind of defeats the whole purpose of upgradeable gear in the first place - the people who run high M+ don't need the upgrades because the gear they get from their keys is maxed anyway.
Your point 3 is so dead on right and one of my biggest complaints that blizz never seems to get . They worry too much that the small highest tier players will complain not realizing they don’t need the help but the average or below players need it . I don’t care what gear people have in fact let them have as good as possible as maybe they will be better when I have to do group things with them
wait a sec tali wasnt 2k tender tokens norm for this month? 500 for initial quest, 500 monthly, 500 activity and 500 for df purchase which totals to 2k (thats what i got)
That is correct. We have 1k extra this month 500 for the very first time interacting with the feature +500 extra for the achievement for buying the game.
Overall I found the Trading Post to be pretty good. I logged in first day and it was nice to see all the people gathered around. I didn’t really have any issues with it until I accomplished everything for the mount. Luckily though, when I logged on the next day, the mount was there waiting for me. I’m already looking forward to what’s going to be there next month. I think that is the only down side. A month feels a bit too long, but that is more due to me being over excited and not pacing myself this month
I agree with most of your points regarding the new borrowed power system, but I'd have 2 objections: 1. If it turns out relevant power-wise, I can't agree that it's like the rest of the features/content of DF in its "Do it if you like" aspect; as it would *FEEL* mandatory on main or new alts (even if, as most before, it isn't *actually* required to clear content.) 2. After Legion, BFA and SL back to back, and considering the huge win that is 10.0, I think it's rather tone-deaf/worrisome that they'd even green-light such an idea for development - REGARDLESS of how relevant or not it actually turns out. Because they either didn't expect that the community wouldn't like it as an idea, on principle; or, worse, they still wanted to push for it despite of that. Either way, while I'm on the side of 'wait and see,' and even if it ends up being completely irrelevant the day 10.1 releases, I don't like that they're even going there on principle.
The air brake will be nice, but its not gonna be super impactful for ore/herb farming since you usually need 2-3 vigor to get into the blue recharge state to begin with. I suspect it'll be more useful for people leveling or rare hunting where they're not constantly stop and go.
Something I've noticed too is that not many people mention borrowed power boosted your class/spec specifically. These stones do not, are more like trinket effects all be it powerful in the right hands .
I think of it like the mechagon punchcards but less annoying to farm (based on how many Tali said he was getting) It sounds like it could be a lot of fun for fucking around and being silly in the latter half of a season, kind of like how the risk gear from Crucible of Storms was for Dazar’alore
If Blizz wants to fix the borrowed power vibe. Just have quest/progression in 10.0.7 that leads to us getting one or two more talent points. Said points are permeant and meant to 'help' us as we face the coming challenges of 10.1.
I think borrowed power is a good system, if its like this ring. I mean you dont need the ring and it will become obsolete in 4.1 raiding like the poster of this video says. Small borrowed power systems can be fun and helpfull
The main problem i have with trading post, is that it wasn't clear enough (at least to me) that there was a monthly hard cap on tender to earn (and this was likely worsened by the UI bugs), so that after earning all i could in less than a day, i used it all, then continued doing challenges to earn more. Even better is that the day after (since i couldn't open the chest more that day), i could open the cest, it said i got another 500 tender, but nothing appeared in my avendurer journal or the shop, so i was realy confused for a while.
How was the hard cap not clear??? It was literally posted EVERYWHERE lol. The main problem you have is reading it seems. After a 5 second Google search I found the official Blizzard post from 6 days ago about the Trading Post being open, and in it (under the HOW IT WORKS section), it says the following: "Complete monthly activities listed in the new Traveler’s Log. Each month features a rotating, themed set of activities. These activities provide the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender. There’s only a set amount of Tender you can earn each month through completing activities, so you won’t need to complete all the ones in the log each month." The key words there are "UP TO 500", which means you can't earn anything more than 500, as well as "THERE'S ONLY A SET AMOUNT OF TENDER YOU CAN EARN EACH MONTH THROUGH COMPLETING ACTIVITIES". I'm sorry for you if that wasn't clear enough for you, but it's clear to anyone with an attention span of at least 30 seconds and the reading comprehension of a 6 year old.
That's what I was disappointed by. There wasn't a ton I wanted from this first month so I thought well at least I can keep earning it in case there are a bunch of things I want all at once later. Nope.
i'm fine with borrowed power towards the end of a raid tier. helps more casual guilds catch up before a new tier and allows more progressed guilds to just go wild. if they had done this in launch or .05 id have been upset.
@@NukFur when you get into the nitty gritty, all gear is borrowed power because it's designed to be replaced and never touched again. No one goes and gets the gear in Molten Core and that's completely fine.
We are always borrowing power. I understand how that can be a scary thing to think of (AP), but some forms of it makes the game interesting. Well see what the future holds. Honestly im pretty excited
Yeah kinda like mechagon trinket, a fun little thing to toy around with and customize but won’t really affect progression outside of a small, not really critical part of the season
Yeah technically all gear, the entire point of the game for most people, is borrowed power. It all becomes useless with every patch let alone every expansion. It all depends on how it's implemented.
@@Tohlemiachthat’s a horrible way of using that term. That’s no where near the same kind of “borrowed power” we’re talking about.. The bad borrowed power, wow players tend to not like, are the super LOOONG, Grindy, never ending power creep for say a single neck piece that you upgrade over and over and over. And if you fall behind, you’re stuck trying to play catch up forever and it just doesn’t feel good whatsoever
@@Tohlemiachbut yeah I’d agree it depends how it’s implemented . I wouldn’t say just base gear alone is borrowed power.. bc that’s how it’s been since vanilla as far as gear goes. But it’s once you start adding artifact weaps or heart of Azeroth.. those are a big negative imo
My trading post experience was logging on after work without realizing it had been disabled, and entirely confused why nothing was there. No NPCs, no players, nothing in the adventure log... had a mini heart attack. Seemed to be working next time I checked, at least!
it took me less than a day to get my spectral kitty mount ,I had also earned 2k token and now I'm capped, I bought the bow , the pirates outfit, bouquet of roses , corsage, and the hood and scarf. the mount in the trading post I already have.
This is actually very much a launch in the "Classic" tradition - things are FUBAR on launch and get tamed in patches - its such an aging, patchwork engine that I can't imagine the bowl of spaghetti that surely results in many errors that need live launch to discover; I like that they are shooting high and dealing with the flaws in subsequent patches than aiming much lower.
Now I wish when things began to bug out that they'd catch fire in game and gnomish fire fighters would show up trying to spray water on the flames. So many bugs this expansion so far and putting in a ticket is still a 2 week process of being sent to the forums afterward. Still loving it though.
Difference is, you get gear anyways and core part of the game but borrowed power comes as something extra / optional (but if good then mandatory) and scales and can be farmed differently compared to gear.
I bought the Ogre pet and the flail from the trading post, but I think I'll save some for next month. I'm guessing there might be a mount, pet and weapon transmog pretty much every month, and if the prices of THIS month hold, 1000 tendies will not be enough for more than one of them.
I still haven't gotten my mount or the last 100 Tenders from the log, but I'm hoping it gets fixed sometime this month. I think of all features that could break on launch, this is probably the "best" to happen to, since it's completely static for the whole month and easily resettable.
The Jailer is also a "DC baddie" in that he replicates Parallax, the story arc for Green Lantern in the 90s where a superhero went rogue attempting to rewrite the universe ("Zero Hour").
I feel bad for the people that suffered through the glitches. I had a couple small ones, but nothing like the ones I've read. The stuff is kind of cool, and a reason to do more stuff in the world. Once it gets going, and the bugs are fixed...I think people will really love it. I got my mount (luckily), and now wonder if I should do all the holiday stuff to bank tenders-or if that's even possible.
Yep, same for me. I just logged in on the 2nd and the trading post was disabled, which of course was a disappointment, but it seems I missed most bugs this way. I filled my bar normally and was able to get the tiger mount. So I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Although to be fair, I saw a lot of that mount on the Darkmoon Faire so I guess more people got it than not.
As far as i know the ring Is inique, while there are tons of gems. But ultimately Is Just a fun mode coze It Will be useless next tier, It scale max to 411
I do like the Trading Post. I kinda wish we could get more of the stuff, because it's giving me FOMO; I actually spent all my Tenders and still put a thing (the bow) on hold for next month. But I feel it'll probably all work out. I didn't visit it until the 2nd, and I didn't experience any problems.
I see more Mechagon trinket than Domination Shards besides we could at least get the gems out with Domination Shards so I was OK with them. Also, what about the fact that the corsage dressing room makes you character look naked except for the corsage
BTW Supposed to get 2000 tendies atl aunch. 1000 from normal 500 from owning dragonflight 500 from intro quest. I keep seeing people forget the intro quest gives 500, so they say you can only get 1500.
Trading post is a good addition. Many people love transmog. I grabbed up the sex flail and will get the 2 handed hammer also. Wasn't shocked when it was uber broken although having servers unavailable for 2 days during my available gaming time felt bad. We can't know what effect the special power ranger rings could have on pvp until it hits live. To be honest I hope the player power on the rings is deactivated in rated pvp. With the way things are now I can play an hour or two per day and fill all the vault reward spots with pvp options on two characters, and finish conquest capping them in 2 hours or less each(and conquest caps are going away). I don't want a new grind to feel mandatory for pvp.
You know, I actually agree with a lot of others in the comments - this strikes me more like the Mechagon trinket and the cards you could slot into it...which aren't borrowed power. The 'gem' you get is super easy to get, per your own experience, as well! This looks super fun. Just seeing that 'build up a charge when you move' one has me thinking about my zippy DH...
It's not borrowed power really.. its a catchup mechanic. Like yeah it gives you extra stuff, but it's also so late in the patch that it doesn't matter. Everything important was cleared without needing it. Now, if it is OP and NEEDS to be used for the next content. Then we have an issue.
I have watched/listened to you guys for a long time... and you got a sub for the "everyday youre carrying my weapon" and "yes I carry Talie's pillar in my hands" .... ahhhhh LOL... +1 Sub 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I liked the weapons they added, because they added a tree that let you alter your abilities. I’d love to see a power system like that so we could get spell alteration to diversify our talent tree’s even further. I thought it was a brilliant system and would give us another way of powering our characters up.
I like the selection of trading post items but im probably just gonna save all my tendies. Im hoping that with TC items coming back in twitch drops and store items being added to the trading post that they bring back old blizzcon items. I really want the alliance airship mount.
Also i cant speak for the people who got more than 2k tendies this month but i and many people should get 2k not 1.5k. 500 from chest normally, 500 in chest for having dragonflight, 500 from challenges, and 500 for finishing the intro quest to the post. All months after should be 1k but this month had not just the bonus 500 from dragonflight but we get 500 from the intro too.
When you went to the support tab in oce they didn’t even have an announcement pinned notifying about the problem. They did after four days of problems so no wonder they where Swapped with support tickets.
Yea...the Trading Post has been fun. I finished the monthly reward thing in a day and only got 300 tendies instead of 500, and haven't gotten my mount. It's been 4 days. Still not fixed. My log says I've completed and collected everything. UPDATE: Around 7:30 EST the bug was fixed for me. Logged on and was alerted on log progress, and told to go get my rewards. I now have my mount and missing tendies.
I like the idea of the Trading Post however the initial offerings felt lack luster to me. The flail is neat and I like the hooded cloak but wish it were a different color such as blue, green, or grey. I don't think I'll be spending all of my tender this month.
Just a wild guess, but the cloak colors fit the theme of 'Love is in the Air' pretty well, so it's possible we'll see more holiday-themed items in the Post.
Talie, I got my Ash'adar mount ... after it not popping up the first 3 times (even if I completed the 1000 points). I had to open a blizz support ticket for it ! :D
I was able to get into the Trading Post before it crashed, and start the progress. Then it crashed while I was at work. It was fine when I got back to the game. I did get the Celestial steed, coz it was basically free, and who knows when it'll be available again? Got the hood and cloak, and the Bow for my hunter. I did fill the bar and the reward mount was in my inventory to open. I think it's a win.
I ended up getting my Ash'Dalar from the chest yesterday, about 24hrs after I finished all the quests. You might be able to just open the box if you did the log but still didn't get it.
I hate borrowed power as well but please keep in mind the reason borrowed power garnered such a bad reputation was because they pruned our classes, taking fun, baseline abilities and replaced them with bs. Now we have a lot of that stuff back with the new talent trees. So instead of the dynamic being “lose class abilities - gain borrowed power” It’s now “KEEP class abilities - gain borrowed power” Ceremoniously we are in a better spot still then beginning of BFA
I don't even know that I would have called domination shards "borrowed power." I looked at them as just powerful gems with special sockets. I thought the main complaint with borrowed power was the AP grind, which doesn't happen with shards.
I only have 25 tendies left, froze the pet this month. I'm hoping for them to bring in retired mogs/mounts into the post, like Rhok'Delar, the Long Boi, and the Plagued/Black Proto Drakes. I doubt it will happen, but a man can hope...
I'm surprised so many people jumped to this feeling like Domination Shards, those were so forgettable and not even an accurate comparison. There weren't a lot of choices of sockets for those on gear anyways, so a more accurate representation is the Mechagon Trinket, which I thought were great but should have had a way to upgrade them further to scale beyond that half a season. I think the best version of a system with optional powers they've made was the Corruption gear system. I think if they had made an easy way to get a corrupt essence you could apply to gear, and maybe a fairly high limit to how many you could stack on each piece for more corruption, the system would have worked better. It was such a pain to get pieces to drop though and once it was cleaned it was kinda trash... so it felt bad needing to farm for so many of the same pieces. Also, to answer the question, I bought the flail, bow, wrist flower, bouquet, both cloak and helm sets, and the separate cloak. I already owned a sparkle pony... my whole family plays WoW and the mount was a Christmas gift when it was new. Set the full set transmog on freeze. I like it but not so much that I expect to use it any time soon... but the belt is perfect for that gap in the Apron tabard; I've been sitting on a Green Eggs and Ham mog for years, hoping to one day use white items like the ham looking one at Darkmoon Faire, but not many belts fit the tabard hole well and also match a simple chef outfit on a 2 hand melee character.
I would think the rings would be like the torgast abilities. Each time you enter, you get a new ring. All of the gems you get or have saved from the time before are what you ccan load into it. when you leave, the gems and the ring reset.
I get the impression there's going to be an older store mount for folks to pick up if they want to get it but don't feel like spending real life money. Which is absolutely fine by me. I like the stuff they offered, and I can't wait to see what March brings us. froze the swashbuckler set because I'm not sure I'll be able to earn enough tendies this month to get it, lol
My guess is the Primordial Ring and Stones are an Open World "fun kit" since the ilvl is 411 and specific for the content. I would be hard-pressed that the ring will out pace any 418 or higher piece with sub-stats and effects.
People need to calm down and take a deep breath. This isn't domination shards 2.0. These gems appear to be a lot easier to acquire, and you can get them solo.
Just bought the hood, scarf, and pirate mog. That's it. As for my issues, I have a 100 tendies part of the Traveler's Log that won't complete, and the ticket I put in about it keeps getting extended. All my alts get rewarded 500 tendies from the chest every time I log in, though at least it isn't being added to my total. I didn't know about the 12 month achievement being busted. I'll have to see if I have any progress or too much progress on that. I think the Trading Post could be a lot of fun if it wasn't a steaming pile.
I was gonna craft a ring depending on what I get from vault this reset. Good thing I keep up with WoW news with T&E because now I won't craft a ring because I learned we will get a cool ring in 10.07
Ironically, the basic Transmog theme for my paladin is “pink, and possibly on fire”, so I sort of wish my Tendies cloak were on fire. And also wish that ret palsies didn’t currently suck. But if she’s going to be useless, she might as well be stylish.
After the initial hiccup I really like the trading post. Also I am now fine if the sell the currency because it took me less than 3 hours to complete it for me and you have a whole month to do so. I only kept going after I realized I was 3/4 of the way there after doing what I usually do each start of the week . So if someone is that lazy let them give blizz money. Unless paying for it becomes the only way to do it but if left as is I am fine with it
for me those GEMs are fine.. they are just another form of enchantment.. as long as those stay on that powerlevel i guess it's fine.. but then again i didnt play shadowlands that much (but enough to know that torghast was somehow annoying) and might evaluate it wrong
This feels from the first glance way more like the mechagone-Trinket with effects that are not gamebreaking and can easily be swapped for a normal ring because the stats are better than some wonky „hit x when y“-items.
Had the same issue of not getting the cat. I couldn't open the tendies chest at all. Last night I was finally able to and have the cat mount. As far as what I bought I bought the swashbuckling set...which I honestly kind of regret. It doesn't go well with a lot. Waiting for that data mined blood troll outfit to see what it is. As I love barbarian and kind of tattered cloth/leather looks for characters. And the blood troll npcs fit that to a t for me so hoping a transmog based on them will fill that. Especially as a lot of the loincloth tattered looks are really more like low rez shorts as they are older, like tbc and vanilla.

Your point 3 is so dead on right and one of my biggest complaints that blizz never seems to get . They worry too much that the small highest tier players will complain not realizing they don’t need the help but the average or below players need it . I don’t care what gear people have in fact let them have as good as possible as maybe they will be better when I have to do group things with them
1 - the vaults change daily, everytime you enter it's random generated
wait a sec tali wasnt 2k tender tokens norm for this month? 500 for initial quest, 500 monthly, 500 activity and 500 for df purchase which totals to 2k (thats what i got)
That is correct. We have 1k extra this month 500 for the very first time interacting with the feature +500 extra for the achievement for buying the game.
Highly recommend doing the Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest questline if you haven't to get that staff mog. It is *chef's kiss*
I agree with most of your points regarding the new borrowed power system, but I'd have 2 objections:
1. If it turns out relevant power-wise, I can't agree that it's like the rest of the features/content of DF in its "Do it if you like" aspect; as it would *FEEL* mandatory on main or new alts (even if, as most before, it isn't *actually* required to clear content.)
I am impatiently awaiting for that red neckerchief because suddenly I can make Merlin as a WoW character and I need this in my life.
11:25-11:37 Sounds a bit like FFXIV's treasure dungeons except you can't get booted, it's not three doors long and progress is permanent.
I think of it like the mechagon punchcards but less annoying to farm (based on how many Tali said he was getting)
It sounds like it could be a lot of fun for fucking around and being silly in the latter half of a season, kind of like how the risk gear from Crucible of Storms was for Dazar’alore
I would actually totally love if after a year there would be an item on the trading post that costs 12k.
I feel the new vault is more like Legion's 'Withered Training'.
After a 5 second Google search I found the official Blizzard post from 6 days ago about the Trading Post being open, and in it (under the HOW IT WORKS section), it says the following:
"Complete monthly activities listed in the new Traveler’s Log. Each month features a rotating, themed set of activities. These activities provide the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender. There’s only a set amount of Tender you can earn each month through completing activities, so you won’t need to complete all the ones in the log each month."
The key words there are "UP TO 500", which means you can't earn anything more than 500, as well as "THERE'S ONLY A SET AMOUNT OF TENDER YOU CAN EARN EACH MONTH THROUGH COMPLETING ACTIVITIES". I'm sorry for you if that wasn't clear enough for you, but it's clear to anyone with an attention span of at least 30 seconds and the reading comprehension of a 6 year old.
Dragon flight is mid what are we going to do about it? Think next expansion will be better?
@@charlesdobronxcharlesdobro4660 dragonflight is clearly not mid, on the better side. But handled by blizzard so fuckups are guaranteed
That's what I was disappointed by. There wasn't a ton I wanted from this first month so I thought well at least I can keep earning it in case there are a bunch of things I want all at once later. Nope.
i'm fine with borrowed power towards the end of a raid tier. helps more casual guilds catch up before a new tier and allows more progressed guilds to just go wild. if they had done this in launch or .05 id have been upset.
what like they did with tier, crafted gear, trinkets, enchants, phials?
@@jackbadger3976 how are any of those borrowed power
But it’s once you start adding artifact weaps or heart of Azeroth.. those are a big negative imo
i wish i could play this game enthusiastic as you 2 its always nice to see your guys' energy
My trading post experience was logging on after work without realizing it had been disabled, and entirely confused why nothing was there. No NPCs, no players, nothing in the adventure log... had a mini heart attack. Seemed to be working next time I checked, at least!
I'm getting ALL of the hood/scarf mogs - for some reason I love putting those "soft" helm mogs on plate and mail sets, they look so epic together.
Ooohhh, damn now I have to get the scarf set! Just one big silver or black plate set with a bright shock of pink scarf! My draenei would look wicked!
@@amouramarie Looking forward to all the colors this year if the data mining works out the way they guessed in the video.
it took me less than a day to get my spectral kitty mount ,I had also earned 2k token and now I'm capped, I bought the bow , the pirates outfit, bouquet of roses , corsage, and the hood and scarf. the mount in the trading post I already have.
Don’t laugh at me but the trading post got me to play the game again. It’s a great system. Ps. Ty for funny intro it’s why I subscribe 🎉🎉
That was the purpose of the trading post, I think. To get people who may not want to continue to come back.
The "Sonic's Backpack" line covered my keyboard in coffee!
Love you guys
It is a gem..... It is as borrowed power as gear is.
Difference is, you get gear anyways and core part of the game but borrowed power comes as something extra / optional (but if good then mandatory) and scales and can be farmed differently compared to gear.
@@alihorda Which it is not. It is something you can easily get and is legit just a new gem slot n gem.
@@TheEregos we don't know much about it yet. It could became domination socket shit again. I hope not
This minigame sounds more like the Nightborne one from Legion where everything unlocks (mostly) as you progress through.
On my Dracthyr I feel it's almost required to transmog my staff as Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest... =D
I bought the Ogre pet and the flail from the trading post, but I think I'll save some for next month. I'm guessing there might be a mount, pet and weapon transmog pretty much every month, and if the prices of THIS month hold, 1000 tendies will not be enough for more than one of them.
Ye not buying the mount so that ill have extra when i want like a mount+more in a later season
I am slowly being driven insane by how Tali pronounces Harbinger.
The primordial gems seem more like what Mechagon did with the trinket that gave buffs depending on what was socket in. Not a bad thing tbh
@@Valfara770 hopefully it's sorted *soon*
I honestly think this is a feature that people have wanted for a long time. When it functions.
As far as i know the ring Is inique, while there are tons of gems. But ultimately Is Just a fun mode coze It Will be useless next tier, It scale max to 411
The best to come for 10.0.7 is the ret pally overhaul.
Lucky! I held off completing it for now as many of my guildies have experienced various combinations of the issues Tali mentioned.
@@Yamidoragon I'd be surprised if those weren't fixed very early on.
What if the rings are only valid inside the vaults themselves? Like that’s why you possibly get one from each? Just a thought
That Evi bit, so wholesome. You love to see it 🥰
When the maruuk drum music drops...we be JAMMIN
I see more Mechagon trinket than Domination Shards besides we could at least get the gems out with Domination Shards so I was OK with them. Also, what about the fact that the corsage dressing room makes you character look naked except for the corsage
There's a checkbox below your character to enable/disable the display of your armor.
@@the_synack dressing room was the wrong word. The example that they show when you click on a xmog.
BTW Supposed to get 2000 tendies atl aunch.
1000 from normal
500 from owning dragonflight
500 from intro quest.
I keep seeing people forget the intro quest gives 500, so they say you can only get 1500.
I'm so glad to have Evie back for the couch bit!
The vault is more like troves of the thunder king 2.o than torghast 2.0
I love you guys. So funny and always manage to make my day.
That Polybius playing Mario Kart in the background is driving me crazy. 😂
I've been wanting the sparkle pony for a long time but have been too cheap to spend the money to get it. Thanks to the trading post I got it for free!
Excellent
I have watched/listened to you guys for a long time... and you got a sub for the "everyday youre carrying my weapon" and "yes I carry Talie's pillar in my hands" .... ahhhhh LOL... +1 Sub 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I liked the weapons they added, because they added a tree that let you alter your abilities. I’d love to see a power system like that so we could get spell alteration to diversify our talent tree’s even further. I thought it was a brilliant system and would give us another way of powering our characters up.
IF you played Mop. Those keys are exactly like the Treasures of Lei Shen palace/vault run.
OMG, you have a Polybius machine?!? That's awesome, I love it.
Nothing like getting HoV or SMBG every week since the expansion dropped. It's like Blizzard isn't even trying to make it look random anymore
This reminds me in Legion when we trained the withered army....open doors, kill bosses, free more withered, and get chest in the end
I don't think I'll be spending all of my tender this month.
one man's trash............ Maybe prettier things come next month?
They do plan to have new colors for that cloak/hood
I grabbed both bandoliers, the two hand hammer, and the kickass flail
Just a wild guess, but the cloak colors fit the theme of 'Love is in the Air' pretty well, so it's possible we'll see more holiday-themed items in the Post.
lets me cosplay as a runescape HAM member
Talie, I got my Ash'adar mount ... after it not popping up the first 3 times (even if I completed the 1000 points). I had to open a blizz support ticket for it ! :D
I was able to get into the Trading Post before it crashed, and start the progress. Then it crashed while I was at work. It was fine when I got back to the game. I did get the Celestial steed, coz it was basically free, and who knows when it'll be available again? Got the hood and cloak, and the Bow for my hunter. I did fill the bar and the reward mount was in my inventory to open. I think it's a win.
1:56 setting this as my wake-up alarm
I ended up getting my Ash'Dalar from the chest yesterday, about 24hrs after I finished all the quests. You might be able to just open the box if you did the log but still didn't get it.
I hate borrowed power as well but please keep in mind the reason borrowed power garnered such a bad reputation was because they pruned our classes, taking fun, baseline abilities and replaced them with bs. Now we have a lot of that stuff back with the new talent trees. So instead of the dynamic being “lose class abilities - gain borrowed power”
It’s now “KEEP class abilities - gain borrowed power”
Ceremoniously we are in a better spot still then beginning of BFA
I don't even know that I would have called domination shards "borrowed power." I looked at them as just powerful gems with special sockets. I thought the main complaint with borrowed power was the AP grind, which doesn't happen with shards.
the new vault thing reminds me of the Troves of the Thunder King from Mists back in the day
I'm pretty excited for the primordial gems as a switch up with tier gear.
I'm so glad I was not baited into resubbing.
I, too, am also a victim of completing the Traveler's Log and not receiving the Ash'adar mount. 😥
I really wish you two would shine a light on the problem BM hunters have with the bow from Rasz. Please bring back the Dinar system!
I really liked the cloak+scarf as a concept, but pink doesn't fit my current transmog at all. I'm hoping for red in the future.
My guess is the Primordial Ring and Stones are an Open World "fun kit" since the ilvl is 411 and specific for the content. I would be hard-pressed that the ring will out pace any 418 or higher piece with sub-stats and effects.
It doesn't really count as borrowed power any more than tier gear does.
Edit: 19:44 ah, you got to that immediately
It's honestly just another punch card system like from mechagon lol
Good thing I keep up with WoW news with T&E because now I won't craft a ring because I learned we will get a cool ring in 10.07
You realise thst the soonest you will get this is in 40 days... Right?
Ironically, the basic Transmog theme for my paladin is “pink, and possibly on fire”, so I sort of wish my Tendies cloak were on fire. And also wish that ret palsies didn’t currently suck. But if she’s going to be useless, she might as well be stylish.
Rets not useless by a long shot, I've seen ret pallies absolutely pump keys for one. And I'm talking 19-20's here.
Always nice to have a two-hander.
