Regarding the "Chromie will find a way to save Nozdormu" theory, I have another suggestion - Chromie will, through her "searching ALL possibilities" inevitably CAUSE the transformation from Noz -> Murozond. Because that would have the most poetic justice, and invoke the classic trope of Oedipus; through fighting destiny you will cause it to happen.
Speaking of Dragonflight unresolved story threads, unless I've completely missed it somewhere, what about the red dragon egg that's been infused with elemental energy that we and Sendrax save and is currently just sitting at the Ruby Lifepools where Alex said she's going to try to save it?
Cool video idea. I really like the Decaytriarch, especially with her exit line - so villainous. If I had to guess we might get to meet Dralad as the decay incarnate, and that can be the red dragonflight storyline.
One more unresolved plot point that's been bugging me: what about the mother oathstone? It should have been the culmination of the main story-line. We went to all that trouble to restore each flight's oathstones throughout the isles, which Alexstrasza thought would then allow her to activate the mother oathstone and use it to restore the aspects' power. Except it didn't work. Why didn't it work? We don't know. Cause no one has mentioned it since. It's like the dragons just forgot that they want to restore their aspectral power. After making us traipse around the continent bonking various baddies for that specific purpose. I want a narrative payoff for all my heroic labour!
People keep talking about the gap next to Alexstrasza in that one location, and thinking there's going to be a 6th major flight. Maybe she can't/won't until that comes back up, if it ever does.
On the world tree point, I personally had the cutscene stop itself automatically...after five seconds. I wonder if a lot of people simply didn't get the cutscene. I also have a tin-foil hat theory that Chromie is going to resolve the issue by somehow taking Nozdormu's place as the leader of the infinites. I'd also like to point out a solution I have for why Nozzie seems to always be blindsided by events: He can't see *all* of time, just the entirety of the prime timeline. Anything that could lead to a departure is outside his purview, so he is not granted knowledge of it. Why? Because the Titans (blizz) don't want him becoming an unstoppable force who knows everything before it happens. His vision is "clouded" so that he becomes uneasy and says "hey, fix that please."
If the Titans actually had perfect time telling abilities, Sargeras couldn't have surprised them with his fall. It's probably more likely that the timelines Nozdormu sees, are just mathematical probabilities and not guarantees.
@@kyleellis1825 Also very probable, I think the point is that he just doesn't have the breadth of knowledge we'd been led to believe he had. I suspect that he was also unaware of the full limits of his vision. He knew it wasn't complete, but he's only now realizing the actual scope of the unknowns.
On the whole decay elemental stuff. For what we can know right now. Decay and Spirit from a shaman point of view are used like a lens to channel the other elemental powers through. Going with this knowledge Wratheye is "just" using a much more intense version of decay than we have seen until now. She is using water and air related abilities just like the dark shamans in Siege of Orgrimmar did.
For me it's rather interesting not having the decay theme handled in form of the mega dungeon. It seems to be a bigger deal than we think especially with the new world tree shaped map hole being right next to it. We will probably deal with it in 10.2 as part of the raid.
You raise a good point about Eon’s Fringe, BUT there was a place in Bastion I expected to become relevant but never did, the Chamber of Unspoken Pacts where there was a Fire orb, Ice crystal, and an Arcane crystal which as a mage player I was always curious about since the Kyrian were all about order and their abilities are half Arcane damage, half holy damage, and there were stone giants exactly like Azerothian ones there too
I'll join in on the fun. Unresolved plot thread: The Tyr Twist. As story beats go this is about the time when the first big curve ball flies across the plate. Think the Wrathgate in WotLK, or Light's message in Legion. They've seeded the ground with snippets and bits that the Titans and especially Tyr had plans within plans. It's close to time to see what those plans are. I suspect it will reveal two things. 1) Tyr and the Titans really saw the dragons as tools at worst and pets at best. 2) The Titans have a contingency if the dragons prove too willful and the only reason it hasn't activated sooner was because the Isles were hidden. O
Another thing that needs resolving is the currently unused choir of frogs in the large empty area right next to valdrakken. It seems tobe a place for celebration with the frog choir and all the flight banners, but there is just nothing there yet and i wonder when it will finally be used
I'm still sticking by my theory from the beginning of dragonflight that Norzdormu has ALWAYS been Muruzond and has been playing both sides as a way of controlling the outcome of the timeline. That is, neither Bronze nor Infinite dragonflights could achieve his goals on their own, so he's guiding both at the same time.
I genuinely hope that the primal incarnates made a pact with the light to counteract neltharions pact with the void. It would make sense and sort of pick away at the light similar to how the titans are being picked at.

The emerald flight storyline about growth is absolutely going to collide with the Decay storyline. I also believe this would be a 10.2 instead of 10.3 because the story about Alexstrasza and the ruby flight will be the pinnacle of the expansion. We're going to get a big revelation about the Titans and how the aspects are involvement.
I don't know if it's been said, but what if, instead of stopping the change, Chromie is actually the cause of it all because she is trying so hard to prevent it? Consumed by fear of not being able to stop the change, she could be corrupted by the Sha of Fear in a timeline where the Mist of Pandaria expansion went horrible wrong. The Infinite Dragon Flight and the Sha do share a similar color palette.
The issue is that Nozdormu’s death is pretty much sealed. In the Shattering (the novel) they pretty much made it clear that trying to avert his death or seeking the cause of it will automatically lead to Murozond.
Good point, but I think that in the case of the sha, the issue of colors, I imagine it was more an artistic choice at the time, to imitate Ying and Yang, than necessarily their relationship with the infinite. But I think this theory is super valid that the culprit for the appearance of Moruzond is Chromie... and Nozdormu, is being "proactive" with us and with her in order to bring about this end soon... to preserve the line temporal and let all that happen, because that's HOW he turns into his evil version, as it should be, so I theorize that when Moruzond actually dies... Nozdormus transformation is triggered by trying to change his destiny to turn into murozond so yeah that has to happen with chromies efforts. We were already fighting murozond, he cannot just not turn into murozond at that point
It’s very interesting to me the void creatures in the basement were tagged as Demons, not Abberations, because I think it’s been long enough now the Legion is gone to revisit the Nether, and the Legion had lots of members using Void/Shadow powers, and the Voidwalker is a “demon”
"Demon" is basically analogous with "alien" in the warcraft universe. They're all from space, or other conquered planets. did we ever get a Drust conclusion? a mini raid or did they just leave that one along with the crusade of light tingy from the maghar allied race quest?
I believe we sent most of them packing back to mini drust realm similar to that of Helya’s realm. However Helya has been seen in 3 realms (Hellheim, the Maw & Azeroth) and the drust also came to Azeroth so I’m sure they’ll be back!
The BFA stuff with the blood trolls I think also hat a lot of decay stuff with it I thought? I noticed while doing mythic dungeons that the underot has mobs saying the EXACT same phrase as the knolls, they both say "rot and wither" and have similar attacks I think. The thing with that too was a death magic that wasn't actually tied to the LOA of death right?
Probably not the case, but would love if the Decatriarch is smarter than the average Gnoll because they aren't a Gnoll but a 5th Incarnate in their humanoid form. One who may alrdy have been hiding their true form back in the original conflict between the dragons.
I just had a thought re: Nozi. What if he *needs* to become Murozond? Think about it. Who can see every possible truth/possibility? The Void Lords. What is we just need to keep him from going balls to the wall mad because he'd be a best asset against the Void in the future? I mean, he said the End Time was better than what the "sacred" timeline eventually leads to. What if all we/Chromie needs to do is keep him from going mad in *this* timeline?
One thing nobody seems to think about is chromie time. I think Chrome time is Chromie messing with the timelines looking for a solution, or rathe, making us fix her shit like always.
As to Nathanos.. I'm pretty sure his story IS resolved.. died a big glorious limited time world boss death.. for no reason.. he was just consumed into the jailer's forces exactly like all the rest.. I think that's perfectly poetic justice for him
Some speculation is putting the Infinites up as a sixth dragonflight, and I'm behind that idea, and I think it could be taken a step further. What if Nozdormu isn't turned into Murozond so much as Murozond splits off as a separate entity? Wibbly wobbly stuff happens, we decide maybe there doesn't need to be just the one timeline, and there's an uneasy invitation to the council. Also explains why infinite dragons would allow themselves to be ridden.
Great video. I'm always behind the curve on keeping up with expansion story lines, and assume any thing that seems like a loose end is something i haven't gotten to yet. Though, i'm doing the best at keeping up since Legion.
Ominous try the most bone chilling threat I've ever heard a 5-man boss ever utter in wows history. She promised that she's going to take everything from us as we took from her.
I can see them making Mourozand a raid boss for one of the future raids and then in Nozdormu's stead Chromie will become a new Bronze Aspect. I personally don't want that to happen because i like Nozdormu as a character so it would suck to see him go but it is a high chance of that happening at some point
Interestingly enough: If Chromie saves Nozdormu. the Infinite dragon Flight will still come to pass, as time will not happen as it was meant to be. Thus they still try to make Nozdormu happen. Soo, Chromie's quest to save Nozdormu is kind of a lost cause.
I need Blizzard to have the old god temple from the pre-vanilla concept builds to rise from the sea right where Tali suggests the new world tree will be. 🤞🏼

Danuser is just your scapegoat so this is getting stupid. To answer his question, its probably dropped until we do something SL related but...if the fanbase gets its way...we won't ever get an answer.
@@ChrisBear1989they had to scrap a major patch from SL, I assume that was part of it. I’d rather they move on into Dragonflight than spend six more months into SL just to wrap up dangling story threads.
I genuinely believe this expansion will see *all* Aspects replaced before the end. Nozzy and Alex both need to pass on their Aspect to successors, whether it takes their lives to do so or not. So maybe Chromie *can* stop Murozond from existing, but has to take on the Aspect of Time in order to do so. And if I get MY wishes realized, we'll also gain one or two new Aspects. I still want the essence of the Incarnate of the Storm to pass on to the dragons of Storm Peaks and get a new Aspect of the Storm, Thrymjaris (or Vethir, maybe). Give their backstory an explanation, damnit!
Preventing Nozdormu from becoming Murozond entails removing his instanced fight, any relevant achievements, and Blizz gaslighting us about him ever being in the game, all things which we know from firsthand experience that Blizzard is capable of
We all know that Nozdormu is gonna turn into Murozond, and then 10 seconds later come back, turn back into Nozdormu and be all "wellp, all the badie things you've seen Murozond do and wil see him do in the future I've done already, let's continue being good guys!"
I am super invested in the new merch storyline for the Squarespace sub plot. What will Evi come up with? Will it be done in time for Blizzcon? I gots to know!!!
Decay is definitely interesting. Lots of interesting elements as part of the crafting system. Order magic is canon? Decay comes from where? Is Spirit going to be a thing again?
Actually that would make sense, but I don't expect to see an incarnate or an elemental lord of spirit because it''s been stated in the lore that the world soul of Azeroth consumed the element of spirit from the entire world
Not entirely - chi that Monks use is another name for spirit. The world soul ate most of it, which is why the elements got so out of whack, but there is still a small amount.
The spirit element on the planet was consumed by the Azeroth Titan worldsoul in the ancient past, which is why the elements were all fighting each other. That said gimme decay magic.
I think it would be cool to try and save Nozdormu from turning and fail. But I honestly think we will actually save him. I feel that important characters in WoW tend to have "good" endings lately and we're missing some tragedy as well to make things feel like there are stakes in all that we do and not just winning and winning.
You could argue nozdormu has been murozond this whole time, and everytime an important moment in time he could easily prevent comes up, he just says “uhhh the timeways were like… fuzzy. Or something.” He knows exactly when he changes, he knows what everyone tries to do to save him, and he knows that those things are exactly what needs to be done in order to make it all happen 😈 mwahahahaha!
Dark Shamans used Decay to make elements submit and serve Garrosh in Mist. Not sure how it fits in but Shamans using Decay has been in game for a while.
What about the black dragon in stasis at the Forbidden Reach? The stasis field was being powered by the creches of the Dracthyr to keep that dragon frozen for some reason. Who is that dragon? Why were they frozen in stasis?
but isn't the rot line the continuation of the drust plot? all being natural death magic and what not? i don't see the drust plot from bfa being solved in shadowlands with that one cameo in the ardenwald invasion (redid it recently)
Azure Span is the perfect setup for new Allied Races. Alliance gets Tuskar and we get the Gnolls. Please TaliEvi gods make that happen. Also when do I get to be a Murloc? Thanks.

my Vulpera Shaman would LOVE to wear Wraitheyes outfit! We need more like that!
I've been wondering about Tyr. That's still kind of up in the air.
The Voidportal will become the new Sword
The BFA stuff with the blood trolls I think also hat a lot of decay stuff with it I thought? I noticed while doing mythic dungeons that the underot has mobs saying the EXACT same phrase as the knolls, they both say "rot and wither" and have similar attacks I think. The thing with that too was a death magic that wasn't actually tied to the LOA of death right?
no.. clearly not.. it's death magic, aka the Blood Element we see in the DK toolkit
I definitely did not skip the spot where Eviltel told us about Square Space.
Really hope that decay magic and that whole storyline gets a lot more love.
100% on nozdormu being surprised at every important thing.
Number 06: Ilgynoths prophecies from Legion and BFA......
Hey there, Eons reach does have quests :) i dont remember the name of them but i definately remember doing a couple of quests there!
It’s gonna play out like Looper, where Norzdormu kills or sacrifices himself to prevent Murozond from ever existing
I just watched the new Nozdormu video that release 5 hours ago. Soooo good.
Let's goooo perfect timing for a video as I was like huh.. where's Tali been??
Loose thread 6! Blizzcon Ticket sales!
We're gonna use the portal to the void to dispose of that giant sword sticking out of that desert that we're totally dealing with still.
Great video. I'm always behind the curve on keeping up with expansion story lines, and assume any thing that seems like a loose end is something i haven't gotten to yet. Though, i'm doing the best at keeping up since Legion.
Witch Doctor class incoming. Or it could be a support spec of the shaman, like augumentation for evoker. Who knows.
I too have a unfocused day when the pollen numbers are high, can’t blame nozdormu for never being on time
Ominous try the most bone chilling threat I've ever heard a 5-man boss ever utter in wows history.
You didn’t mention how uncomfortably close Brackenhide aka ALL THAT DECAY MAGIC is to the location of the new World Tree 😮
In new expac we go some travelling, and after that in patch 12.** we'll see the new world tree grown
I do indeed not skip the ads. There can never be enough Evitel after all. Can't all just be Tali. Otherwise it would be "T" and not "T&E".
Still waiting for the explanation of the anima rift things from SL. They were everywhere but we have no real explanation of who they are, where they are from, etc
Danuser is still in charge, we all know that will be just another plot line left on the bottom of someone's drawer like the bazillion other similar things that came before.
They did explain them. They come from the In Between.
@@monkeysk8er33 And that’s exactly what? 😂
Trying to break the timeline by stopping Nozzy’s transformation is probably what causes his transformation.
Preventing Nozdormu from becoming Murozond entails removing his instanced fight, any relevant achievements, and Blizz gaslighting us about him ever being in the game, all things which we know from firsthand experience that Blizzard is capable of
We all know that Nozdormu is gonna turn into Murozond, and then 10 seconds later come back, turn back into Nozdormu and be all "wellp, all the badie things you've seen Murozond do and wil see him do in the future I've done already, let's continue being good guys!"
wait angry gnome? we're getting angry chromie?...awesome
I am super invested in the new merch storyline for the Squarespace sub plot. What will Evi come up with? Will it be done in time for Blizzcon? I gots to know!!!
Silas Darmoon is the old god in the window in abberrus
Taliesin to Bill(izzard): We have unfinished business!
It's true, I wouldn't dare skipping Evitel...
Decay is definitely interesting. Lots of interesting elements as part of the crafting system. Order magic is canon? Decay comes from where? Is Spirit going to be a thing again?
remember, as far as Azeroth is concerned teh world soul sucked up all the spirit element
14:55 Bob, how did you get so tanned? 🥹
We never skip you Evi
Still pulling for it to be revealed that Galakrond was an incarnate of Decay, and there's some hidden incarnate of Spirit.
I was just wondering where did t&e go, and the boop 11pm a video pops up because why not
Tali you were especially hilarious in this one
You missed out the Tyr Situation... I mean the Tyr in the dungeon is not the new husk we build right?
The Dark Shamans in SoO used corrupted forms of earth, fire, water, and air that made them toxic, not decay itself.
I don't remember decay magic. Don't they just force the elementals to do stuff instead of pleading to them (as normal shamans do)?
@@alihordain WoD they forced the elements to help them. Instead of asking
If that old post predicting expansions still holds next one should be elementals so I think that's where we'll see decatriarch again
Eon's Fringe is active in the new PTR build?
Outrageous hour
The megadungeon doesn't resolve the whole murozond thing in our own timeline
How many stacks of that debuff can you get before you're in trouble in Eon's Fringe?
Anyone considered that maybe the bargain Iridicron made was with Murozond? And that maybe Murozond is not actually Nozdormu but a future Iridicron?
Hello Tali, this one's for you: Nice things.
Azure Span is the perfect setup for new Allied Races. Alliance gets Tuskar and we get the Gnolls. Please TaliEvi gods make that happen. Also when do I get to be a Murloc? Thanks.
So what Im gathering is that basically... DIO is approaching ! ZA WARUDO!!!(of Warcraft) is not prepared!
I think Decay will be the next raid tier, where we have to stop Decay magic from killing the new World Tree.
