The game always been pretty good. Tali has always had that kind of stance. I think now he just isn't always on the defensive picking out the bullshit that people spew on the thing he likes
One thing I think everyone can agree on in terms of things we hate. The bloody lag in the Azure Span. sometimes it isn't a problem, sometimes it's borderline unplayable.
Losing my mind hearing people go on about this nightmarish lag. I've got awful rural internet & haven't experienced this at all. It's like everyone is colluding to gaslight me.
If the other 3 primal incarnates are unleashed, they would make for a perfect 3 boss mini raid like Trial or Crucible. I always enjoyed the smaller raids in between tiers.
I haven't seen this anywhere before but this is my favorite idea so far. Instead of them each being a patch boss giving them their own half-raid all together? Yes
It would also be cool if defeating on mini-raid gave you a portal to the other two,, so they start out as separate raids but once you cleared all three, you can move between them as if they are one.
Honorable Mention Branches hidden in lush trees, stopping your dragon in place - I seriously start to understand Sylvanas and her desire to burn all trees.
This! I actually flew into one of those stupid branches on one of the tall stone things in waking shores the other day and couldn't get out -- I had to dismount and fall to get free.
As a long time WoW retail Sayer of Nay, i have to give credit when it is due: The dragonflight leveling experience is/was fantastic and the voice acting and writing in general have improved by several degrees. Keep it up Blizz.
One thing I think it would be great if they did add would be to add a leaderboard for all the dragon riding races. There needs to be a top 100 all time and a top 100 for the week or month for every race. And it should be posted prominently in Valdraken so everyone can see it. This would harken back to arcade games in the 1980s like Donkey Kong and Galaga. People played those game over and over again just to get the high score. If they did that it would make dragon riding races endlessly replay able. No other rewards would be needed, just the competition of making it first onto and then finally being able to top the leaderboard is all that would be needed. Here’s hoping that happens.
Perfect timing on video drop. Looking forward to M+ and old dungeon loot. Fun Fact : Im exalted with WTLK Tuskar - profession-equipped their special fishing rod - and the NPC Tuskies in Dragonflight recognized it and talk about it when i walk by. Also I permanently breath underwater now.
FYI Tali you dont have to hurt the elementals on that world quest, just wait for the buff to build up to 5, which takes like 20-30 seconds per mob I guess! :) Still doesn't help with other ppl killing your mobs though... :D
I'd actually be fine with the items going on the store in between appearances on the trading post. The prospect of making money on the items for 11 months out of the year would incentivize them to put effort into the assets.
would be super sweet if they added tuskars as playable races in 10.1, to be honest though, I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. This has been such a fun launch; I'm waiting for the bad and it hasn't come yet. I hope everything stays freaking awesome and this turns out to be the best xpac wow has ever had!!
That’s an idea I never thought of. If druids could shapeshift into a dragon later instead of the bird they have now for the dragon riding in the base world that’d be pretty sweet
I am an odd man out. See this expac reminds me of Early Cata. I LOVED Cata. So much to do. New zones to explore. Old zones to see new. 3000 quests updated/added. Early Cata was fantastic. Early DF is fantastic.

This new Expac reminds me of that, that feeling of wanting to play again, play with my guild and raid again. All good things. I laugh when people jump on the "Hate Cata" train. cause most people only "hate" it cause elitsts hated it. But, when my guild joined Wrath Classic we were leveling and all that and kept asking..."when did this get added to the game...Cata....when did that get added...cata...what about this feature...Cata...this change to the cities....Cata...literally every GOOD thing added to wow thats "old" by todays standards was added in Cata. Hard core elitists can keep Vanilla and Wrath. (tho i liked wrath) I will keep Cata and Dragonflight all day.

A shortcut to the frog guarding the cave is go on top of the cave, fall to your death, while in ghost form walk inside the cave, rez, loot, click on shovel to get out of cave.
I think this is such a big W for a lot of people because for the first time ever after an expansion releases. The direction of the game isnt changing drastically from what they claimed Like with shadowlands. Torghast changes into a completely different mechanic after the expansion released. Where everything they showed us before the release is actually what we got in this expansion. Which was already good, now we are even receiving more features that are in the same spirit. I think many peoples attitude for this expansion will unironically be shaped around how the trading post releases
My favourite expansion so far. So much to do. It really is fun to play, haven't had that in a game in a while.Also if you didn't know some classes have there own quest out there like mages and the new dracthyr that I have seen anyway.
I just scared my cat out of the room laughing at that f****** opening gag. God it's so true. I hit so many damn trees. I know I could fly way up in the sky and not actually get to see anything but I would much rather... oh my God not another tree!
Tomcat Tours addon will help you with where you need to go ingame for that Frog treasure btw. its an extremely helpful addon that marks chests on your map so you can track it like progress and it marks on your map where you need to go for certain chests and it even has tiny notes telling you what exactly to do to summon/open things. it also shows you how long rares take to spawn.

They will! They have an entirely new design philosophy going forward. Next expansion will be Cosmological focused again though (they hop between), so I hope you love that as much as I do.

I normally listen/ watch to WR as I'm driving or on break at work but these last couple promos I've watched your streams and earned the Feldrake as well as the recent... Wildseed ??? Mount (I honestly can't remember the name as it won't matter anything other than another ... *tali* in the collection)
I found myself in a weird place when it comes to this expansion. It's done everything I want, it's removed borrowed power, it's taken us back to a world that I love, it's just made my class feel better to play, but I'm not playing it. I just find myself with no drive to log in. I've played some dungeons with my friends and I've enjoyed it when I'm playing it I have tons of fun but when I'm not playing it and I look at the icon on my desktop I just find myself wanting to do something else it feels weird.
Funny thing is, the frog cave treasure is really easy to get access to. Once you done it once, takes literally 2 minutes, it will stay open forever for that character.
We had folks hanging out in Discord just for levelling or running events or other. Was really fun, haven't had that kind of social involvement in a guild since Wrath, I think.
I don't know if I'd call that thing with the trading post a battle pass as much as a primer for moving to a free-to-play type of model. This is very similar to SWtoR's cartel coins and market type system. I'd really love to be wrong on that one, tbh. But, that's what it reminds me of.
Hmm, point. Though they haven't said anything about a real money acquisition method *yet*, that comparison does give me pause. Admittedly the devil will be in the details of the costs of items. It's hard to top SWtORs "four months worth of sub to get a single weapon appearance" level of stinginess

I’m going to have to disagree with you on Dragonriding ruining normal flight. I miss the ability to hover out of danger if I need to emergency AFK. Also since you’re going so fast it’s really easy to miss your destination if it’s on a cliff or building (like the race timekeepers) and have to land, look around, then jump back up to the area. I again want a hover option so I can stay airborne but have a second to look around and figure out where I need to be
I recall that sweeping camera pan "feature" from GW2 - it IS pretty cool. Great to see WoW adopting great things from other games that have existed for years now. Hopefully they'll finally get around to making gear based on currency/tokens rather than RNG.
Just came back to wow after 4 or 5 years, been playing ffxiv and Im having a blast just exploring and collecting stuff. The issue I see with them having dragon riding mounts in old zones, is that that would cut into their profits from selling in game mounts, cause nobody would wanna use anything else, unless all the new in game mounts were skinnable or something lol.
The first two weeks always feel good but this time it does feel different. At the beginning of BFA and shadowlands, it was fun but it was kinda like having a weird feeling that something is going to go wrong due to the new power systems. I'm glad we got no new power systems. I don't feel pressured anymore to dump a ton of hours into the game.
Trading post sounds OK, it's cool of them to give rewards for many types of gameplay! Net posetive I think. My worry is the addition of FOMO mechanics.
You cant avoid fomo in an mmo. Besides, the items come back in rotation eventually. If you don't have time to get something just get it later. I'm just way too old now to give a shit about fomo tbh
I think making dragonriding for all mounts should be relatively easy and definitely possible. Most mounts share skeletons, some of which include the current ones. We already have a wyvern, proto drake/firehawk, the weird green thing, and base dragon skeletons prepped. Just leaves the cloud serpents/worms, flying horses, jellyfish, and disk mounts (im sure theres more these are just off the top) and thats only a few more than we currently have. They could EASILY make the mount skeletons for the remaining flying mounts over the course of the xpac and BOOM next xpac prepatch we get dragonriding across all flying mounts across all zones. They could even drop a new dragonriding mount on new skeletons each patch.

I would call it "Things I Hate", but more like "Things I Think Could Be a Tiny Bit Better": 1. Vigor should recharge faster when grounded and stationary I keep running out of Vigor when I need to get up ledge for an Herb/Ore that is slightly-too-high to jump up to. I have no problem recharging it for long flights, it is those little hop n' pop trips when Gathering that suffer. 2. The initial take-off for Dragonriding shouldn't consume a whole Vigor Boosting one's height when flying - absolutely. Simply getting airborne form the ground - no. Making initial take-off Vigor-free would also fix the above problem, I think. 3. Sojourner Quests Should Appear on the Map Even with "Trivial Quests" turned on, none of the Sojourner Side Quests appear on the map. You just kind of have to remember where they all are. Mildly annoying.
This cant be the only comment mentioning that you can lock what seems like *1* item in the trading post to prevent it from rotating out. I.e. Something that seems out of reach of your playstyle and tender aquiring rate, so you can keep it in place when you got the cash ready.
This Trading Post thing reminds me heavily of the "Seals of Endeavor"-System that was introduced to Elder Scrolls Online last year. You have different tasks that you can do, for completing them you get the currency "Seals of Endeavor" with which you can buy Items from their loot boxes, which are usually online obtainable in the ingame shop. Bilzzard really taking a lot of inspiration from competitors again (Griffonriding form GW2). I don't think that's a bad thing. I like both systems they copied.
doing literally any professions is now way more fun, the cosmetic changes of the prof gear makes me want to just go around mining, never wanted to do that before! i just wish fishing had it's hat be able to be equiped as prof equipment and not a helm

You know...with how easy it is to modify old dungeons, I wonder if those 4 dungeons we're getting in M+ S1 are going to have mini NEW story elements to them, like Ulduman did. Perhaps, some Infinite Dragonflight meddling 😏 And yeah the only pressure to get stuff done has been last night and today to get my extra ilvls to meet raid requirements in-guild. I only a need single piece of gear lol. Other than that, I'm having a blast, and feel I can go at my own pace.

I haven't played WoW is a year and a half. Tali's excitement for the new expansion was so infectious and decided to give WoW a go. So, about $100 later and I'm logging back on to WoW and going to check out DF. Thats strange my lvl 10, 16, 1 and 7. Maybe I transfered my main toons back to U.S server aaaaannnnnndddddd its gone. It's all gone everything since 2005. So, leveling my new druid and lock in friggin Shadowlands
Two things I hate about dragon flying: 1) Having just gotten up to speed with a few lifts and surges in order to fly somewhere when YELLOW MINI MAP DOT MUST GET so now I have to land. And 2) rock outcroppings that I crash into when i launch into the air with my mount.
Point number 1 hits hard. I got onto my Zenet Avis mount, expecting to go super fast! ... Just go 'why am I slow? What happened- oh.. old world- Dangit!' but so far- everything seems decent.
I was disappointed to find that I can't transmog whites or greys (and was expecting to be able to collect those as appearances) upon the expac's launch, but maybe they decided to hold off until when they release this trading post, since it's clearly about transmogs. It'll be the transmog patch. Maybe they'll also finally allow armor types to be transmogged to types lower-tier than it (i.e. plate to anything, mail to leather or cloth, and leather to cloth). While there are some other things I wish could be changed (i.e. the inability to where a hat with something that's just on my face like glasses or a monocle, as well as the fact that I need to remember to transmog my outfit every time I get a new, better piece of equipment to wear when it's be nice to just transmog the equipment slots themselves so that I can put any new thing there without my appearance changes, and it's be nice to transmog, say, a staff to appear as a sword or wand and an off-hand item (tying into the whole "transmog the slots themselves" thing)), but those problems are ones that likely aren't as easily changeable without completely breaking everything. Otherwise, my biggest complaint is the lack of emissary quests like in _Legion_ and _BfA_, as I'm finding rep gain to still be a slog (though the Maruuk is actually pretty easy if you grind hunts and then go turn in all their hunting trophies). I still have plenty of quests to do in the Azure Span and Thaldraszus, though, and not much time to get to do them in. Other than that, though, my only complaint would be just how buddy-buddy the Alliance and Horde are now, but it's at least not all that prominent, the Dragonscale Expedition is basically just like previous neutral factions. I actually like the Windborne Velocidrake's appearance. There's just something about it's weird stance, and I like it's antlers, if only because, as the dragon you get from Merithra, they end up making me think of druids and the Cenarion Circle.
Oh that damn frog got me a few times with it's alluring treasure icon on the mini map. Smug bastard. And I agree with hating the velocidrake, but not for your reasons. I don't like it because nearly all characters feet clip through it's bulky shoulders. Somehow, this skinny excuse for a dragon, did shoulder day every day for the last 10.000 years, and now character models can't sit normally on it. It's even worse than the protodrake, on which most characters have to do some kind of acrobatic "split" in order to sit on the saddle.
Hot take: 10.1 spoilery name file is a red herring. End of vault of the incarnates sees the titans show up to protect their dragon buddies, Raszageth and the other incarnates along with whoever they are working for (definitely not the Old Gods) bust up the pantheon and set Sargeras free. We time travel back to the best expansion (Legion) with the help of Nozdormu and merc Sargeras with the Titan of Death at the end of Dragonflight.
It looks like they've added a buff for your crafting equipment set that you can now cancel when you want to return to your base xmog, great solution IMO.
You can tell Tali really liked making this video. Also if Druid’s get a dragon form then DRACTHYR SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE THERE OWN DRAGON MOUNTS IT MAKES NO SENSE THEY CANT.
Only one mistake here... the windborne velocidrake is the best. Not just for pro flying... it looks the best too. I said what I said and I stand by it... at least until I get enough Maruuk Centaur rep to unlock the green version of the highland drake. Then I swap. As a druid I gotta rep the emerald always

Honestly I find the renewed protodrake to be the worst drake, simply because it's basically what we've already seen a hundred times. The blue one was my least favourite in its base appearance, but thanks to customization has now become my favourite together with the bronze one.
Tali dashes to the end of the dungeon, anticipating Voidlord baddie reveal. Then reveal is that the power behind the Primalists - turns out to be Magni and Mother.
You don't actually need to tag the elemental in that world quest. There is no reason to do any damage to them. As long as your totem is targeting the elemental you get credit when it has enough stacks.
I leveled to 70 on my DH. Love being able to glide and not fall to my death while learning dragon riding. My druid though? No flight form to fall back on, and unless I'm in Boomie form and can flap, I fall down dead LOL.
The gear that you obtain using the elemental overflow has its own set bonuses. So, I doubt that it would be overridden with the raid tier set bonuses using the catalyst.
What I hate about dragonflight 1) landing places where it's not really solid and sliding all over the place and running out of vigor (mountains are supposed to be solid), 2) There's a couple of those highest peaks, if you don't land properly you fall off, I'm usually out of vigor trying to position just right, 3) Not being able to slot the fishing hat as fishing equipment. I like some of the events but they sometimes interfer with other quests in the same area. I got sucked into a hunting event while working on another quest. It happened twice in the same area, at least loot drops when you do an event more than once on the same day. The soup event is crazy.
I have to say, I enjoy watching Tali way more when the game is actually good

My favourite expansion so far. So much to do. It really is fun to play, haven't had that in a game in a while.Also if you didn't know some classes have there own quest out there like mages and the new dracthyr that I have seen anyway.

Tomcat Tours addon will help you with where you need to go ingame for that Frog treasure btw. its an extremely helpful addon that marks chests on your map so you can track it like progress and it marks on your map where you need to go for certain chests and it even has tiny notes telling you what exactly to do to summon/open things. it also shows you how long rares take to spawn.

They will! They have an entirely new design philosophy going forward. Next expansion will be Cosmological focused again though (they hop between), so I hope you love that as much as I do.

I found myself in a weird place when it comes to this expansion. It's done everything I want, it's removed borrowed power, it's taken us back to a world that I love, it's just made my class feel better to play, but I'm not playing it. I just find myself with no drive to log in. I've played some dungeons with my friends and I've enjoyed it when I'm playing it I have tons of fun but when I'm not playing it and I look at the icon on my desktop I just find myself wanting to do something else it feels weird.
Funny thing is, the frog cave treasure is really easy to get access to.
Once you done it once, takes literally 2 minutes, it will stay open forever for that character.
We had folks hanging out in Discord just for levelling or running events or other. Was really fun, haven't had that kind of social involvement in a guild since Wrath, I think.

I don't know if I'd call that thing with the trading post a battle pass as much as a primer for moving to a free-to-play type of model. This is very similar to SWtoR's cartel coins and market type system. I'd really love to be wrong on that one, tbh. But, that's what it reminds me of.

I’m going to have to disagree with you on Dragonriding ruining normal flight. I miss the ability to hover out of danger if I need to emergency AFK. Also since you’re going so fast it’s really easy to miss your destination if it’s on a cliff or building (like the race timekeepers) and have to land, look around, then jump back up to the area. I again want a hover option so I can stay airborne but have a second to look around and figure out where I need to be
The race to world first with guilds a bit like immortalis is where it is at.

I recall that sweeping camera pan "feature" from GW2 - it IS pretty cool. Great to see WoW adopting great things from other games that have existed for years now.

Just came back to wow after 4 or 5 years, been playing ffxiv and Im having a blast just exploring and collecting stuff. The issue I see with them having dragon riding mounts in old zones, is that that would cut into their profits from selling in game mounts, cause nobody would wanna use anything else, unless all the new in game mounts were skinnable or something lol.

The first two weeks always feel good but this time it does feel different. At the beginning of BFA and shadowlands, it was fun but it was kinda like having a weird feeling that something is going to go wrong due to the new power systems. I'm glad we got no new power systems. I don't feel pressured anymore to dump a ton of hours into the game.
Trading post sounds OK, it's cool of them to give rewards for many types of gameplay! Net posetive I think. My worry is the addition of FOMO mechanics.
What does that have to do with the trading lost. Lol
You cant avoid fomo in an mmo.
Besides, the items come back in rotation eventually. If you don't have time to get something just get it later.

I think making dragonriding for all mounts should be relatively easy and definitely possible. Most mounts share skeletons, some of which include the current ones. We already have a wyvern, proto drake/firehawk, the weird green thing, and base dragon skeletons prepped. Just leaves the cloud serpents/worms, flying horses, jellyfish, and disk mounts (im sure theres more these are just off the top) and thats only a few more than we currently have. They could EASILY make the mount skeletons for the remaining flying mounts over the course of the xpac and BOOM next xpac prepatch we get dragonriding across all flying mounts across all zones. They could even drop a new dragonriding mount on new skeletons each patch.
Super happy with the expansion. New lands and talents feel awesome and finally got the gnoll fiend flail after digging around for so many hours

No the absolutely the worst is that the Dragon riding mount doesn't operate as a normal mount and that we only get the 4 mounts.
I would call it "Things I Hate", but more like "Things I Think Could Be a Tiny Bit Better":
1. Vigor should recharge faster when grounded and stationary
I keep running out of Vigor when I need to get up ledge for an Herb/Ore that is slightly-too-high to jump up to.
I have no problem recharging it for long flights, it is those little hop n' pop trips when Gathering that suffer.
2. The initial take-off for Dragonriding shouldn't consume a whole Vigor
Boosting one's height when flying - absolutely. Simply getting airborne form the ground - no.
Making initial take-off Vigor-free would also fix the above problem, I think.
3. Sojourner Quests Should Appear on the Map
Even with "Trivial Quests" turned on, none of the Sojourner Side Quests appear on the map.
You just kind of have to remember where they all are. Mildly annoying.

This cant be the only comment mentioning that you can lock what seems like *1* item in the trading post to prevent it from rotating out. I.e. Something that seems out of reach of your playstyle and tender aquiring rate, so you can keep it in place when you got the cash ready.

This Trading Post thing reminds me heavily of the "Seals of Endeavor"-System that was introduced to Elder Scrolls Online last year. You have different tasks that you can do, for completing them you get the currency "Seals of Endeavor" with which you can buy Items from their loot boxes, which are usually online obtainable in the ingame shop. Bilzzard really taking a lot of inspiration from competitors again (Griffonriding form GW2). I don't think that's a bad thing. I like both systems they copied.
doing literally any professions is now way more fun, the cosmetic changes of the prof gear makes me want to just go around mining, never wanted to do that before! i just wish fishing had it's hat be able to be equiped as prof equipment and not a helm

I was doing some races this morning before reset, and the sky in the Plains wet REALLY DARK with a bunch of red lightning. It was really ominous.
You know...with how easy it is to modify old dungeons, I wonder if those 4 dungeons we're getting in M+ S1 are going to have mini NEW story elements to them, like Ulduman did. Perhaps, some Infinite Dragonflight meddling 😏
And yeah the only pressure to get stuff done has been last night and today to get my extra ilvls to meet raid requirements in-guild. I only a need single piece of gear lol. Other than that, I'm having a blast, and feel I can go at my own pace.

At the very least they can slowly add all existing dungeons tot the m+ roosters, which means more content stays relevant. Then they have to find a way to do that with old raids as well, like always having it give t0.5, t1.5 or t2.5 in current depending on the patch we are in.

I haven't played WoW is a year and a half. Tali's excitement for the new expansion was so infectious and decided to give WoW a go. So, about $100 later and I'm logging back on to WoW and going to check out DF. Thats strange my lvl 10, 16, 1 and 7. Maybe I transfered my main toons back to U.S server aaaaannnnnndddddd its gone. It's all gone everything since 2005. So, leveling my new druid and lock in friggin Shadowlands
Two things I hate about dragon flying: 1) Having just gotten up to speed with a few lifts and surges in order to fly somewhere when YELLOW MINI MAP DOT MUST GET so now I have to land. And 2) rock outcroppings that I crash into when i launch into the air with my mount.
This is by far the best and most entertaining show! Brilliant!

Point number 1 hits hard. I got onto my Zenet Avis mount, expecting to go super fast! ... Just go 'why am I slow? What happened- oh.. old world- Dangit!' but so far- everything seems decent.
I was disappointed to find that I can't transmog whites or greys (and was expecting to be able to collect those as appearances) upon the expac's launch, but maybe they decided to hold off until when they release this trading post, since it's clearly about transmogs. It'll be the transmog patch. Maybe they'll also finally allow armor types to be transmogged to types lower-tier than it (i.e. plate to anything, mail to leather or cloth, and leather to cloth). While there are some other things I wish could be changed (i.e. the inability to where a hat with something that's just on my face like glasses or a monocle, as well as the fact that I need to remember to transmog my outfit every time I get a new, better piece of equipment to wear when it's be nice to just transmog the equipment slots themselves so that I can put any new thing there without my appearance changes, and it's be nice to transmog, say, a staff to appear as a sword or wand and an off-hand item (tying into the whole "transmog the slots themselves" thing)), but those problems are ones that likely aren't as easily changeable without completely breaking everything.
Otherwise, my biggest complaint is the lack of emissary quests like in _Legion_ and _BfA_, as I'm finding rep gain to still be a slog (though the Maruuk is actually pretty easy if you grind hunts and then go turn in all their hunting trophies). I still have plenty of quests to do in the Azure Span and Thaldraszus, though, and not much time to get to do them in. Other than that, though, my only complaint would be just how buddy-buddy the Alliance and Horde are now, but it's at least not all that prominent, the Dragonscale Expedition is basically just like previous neutral factions.
I actually like the Windborne Velocidrake's appearance. There's just something about it's weird stance, and I like it's antlers, if only because, as the dragon you get from Merithra, they end up making me think of druids and the Cenarion Circle.
Oh that damn frog got me a few times with it's alluring treasure icon on the mini map. Smug bastard. And I agree with hating the velocidrake, but not for your reasons. I don't like it because nearly all characters feet clip through it's bulky shoulders. Somehow, this skinny excuse for a dragon, did shoulder day every day for the last 10.000 years, and now character models can't sit normally on it. It's even worse than the protodrake, on which most characters have to do some kind of acrobatic "split" in order to sit on the saddle.
Hot take: 10.1 spoilery name file is a red herring. End of vault of the incarnates sees the titans show up to protect their dragon buddies, Raszageth and the other incarnates along with whoever they are working for (definitely not the Old Gods) bust up the pantheon and set Sargeras free. We time travel back to the best expansion (Legion) with the help of Nozdormu and merc Sargeras with the Titan of Death at the end of Dragonflight.

Only one mistake here... the windborne velocidrake is the best. Not just for pro flying... it looks the best too. I said what I said and I stand by it... at least until I get enough Maruuk Centaur rep to unlock the green version of the highland drake. Then I swap. As a druid I gotta rep the emerald always

I had no idea the size of the dragon mattered at all for dragon racing and got my Isles Racer title on the Highland Drake (the blue one).
Honestly I find the renewed protodrake to be the worst drake, simply because it's basically what we've already seen a hundred times.
The blue one was my least favourite in its base appearance, but thanks to customization has now become my favourite together with the bronze one.

You don't actually need to tag the elemental in that world quest. There is no reason to do any damage to them. As long as your totem is targeting the elemental you get credit when it has enough stacks.
I leveled to 70 on my DH. Love being able to glide and not fall to my death while learning dragon riding. My druid though? No flight form to fall back on, and unless I'm in Boomie form and can flap, I fall down dead LOL.
The gear that you obtain using the elemental overflow has its own set bonuses. So, I doubt that it would be overridden with the raid tier set bonuses using the catalyst.
I have to agree tali!!! Dragon riding needs to happen in the old world. I have a taste, and now I cannot go back to old riding and flying.
What I hate about dragonflight 1) landing places where it's not really solid and sliding all over the place and running out of vigor (mountains are supposed to be solid), 2) There's a couple of those highest peaks, if you don't land properly you fall off, I'm usually out of vigor trying to position just right, 3) Not being able to slot the fishing hat as fishing equipment. I like some of the events but they sometimes interfer with other quests in the same area. I got sucked into a hunting event while working on another quest. It happened twice in the same area, at least loot drops when you do an event more than once on the same day. The soup event is crazy.
