What do you do if the hook is well down inside as sometimes I struggle to get the hook out especially small roach where they swallow it. I'm using a small disgorger for them but still difficult? Thanks

It's the same process but as you say it is just a bit trickier, just a case of being as gentle as you can to avoid excess damage to the fish.

I have problems with perch swallowing the hook a lot, theyre hard to disgorge because their insides are really solid.

Same here mate i hate catching perch because of this same problem 9 times out of 10 perch have swallowed the hook i just try and cut the line as close to the hook as possible
