This is great! Additionally this jumper also works to bypass your rain gauge if you want to water now, even though you received rain. I needed to do this to water in some fertilizer I applied. I hit "water now" and nothing. Watched this video and the jumper made sense. Installed the jumper and the water turned on. Thank you for this video!
Thank you! For some reason rain sensor was not working and the system hadn’t run in a couple weeks. Replaced the sensor with the jumper wire and it fired right up

I did exactly the same thing, outdoor sensor wasn’t working so removed it. Not working after that, just needed the jumper. Thanks, perfect video. Up and running.
Thank you very much for this tip. I was looking for everything that could have gone wrong. Then I found your video and It all made since. We had a huge downpour and when I checked the sensor....It was wet! At least I know that it works!! Now I can test the sytem....after I put in the jumper wire!

Well, I tried to install the Rain bird SST and its not working for me. I kept getting error code: Check valve#4. So I looked at a few more videos, replaced the solenoid, and I am no better off. Still the error message. Im exhausted.
I have the same issue. Except my error is #2. I replaced the solenoid. Unplugged the controller for 15+ minutes. Nothing. I don't know what else to do to clear the message.
