Thank you. Since my sprinkler system company came to turn on the system in June, it never come on. I suspected it was because we had lots of rain, and there’s a sensor, but now it’s dry and they want $150. to come and check it because they said it was working when they left. No, it wasn’t! Is there something in the basement that might be a water issue? They said they didn’t have to come in, but the last guy came in. I’ve only had this house for two summers, and I’m not familiar with this stuff.
Thanks for the video sunwolf. Would the reset button on the orbit panel timer be something I can do?? My timer is on, but my sprinkler is not coming on. I went through the process, but my last option is to press the reset button on the panel
Orbit 57896 with 5 zone's was set for 20 minutes . Zone 1 was disconnected due to broken line. Only 4 zones are operable. Now auto works for 2 min . Reset it but still works 2 and 5 min only
I have the exact same problem timer works check the socket the waterline is working throughout the entire house outside inside and the water will not come on I’ve had this happen before and then all of a sudden it starts working again
Thanks, you just saved me $$. I did not realize that the battery would show the timer working. The plug looked OK. The timer plug was holding the button on the outlet so it did not look to be tripped. l Unplugged the timer pushed the now exposed trip button put it in manual and it worked. I lost some landscaping with our 120+ temps. before I noticed a problem But all is back up and running.
I have a station that won't work. It is getting power to the solenoid as I can hear it starting but no water... also have another station that won't turn off! Different junction for both (front and backyard are separate).
Question: I have the Rain Dial controller, but notice that if I switch to manually water, it will show M1 or M2 on the screen, but it doesn't turn the water on. Any suggestions on where to look? I just installed a new valve in # 2, but still no water coming out when I switch to manual water. It's like the box isn't sending the signal to the valves. The water comes out when I manually turn on the valve. Thank you.
So I have 11 zones in my system. My system runs off of a shallow well with a 2 Hp pump. System comes on fine with timer and works great until it reaches zone # 8. At that point pressure drops dramatically in zone #8 and only a small stream comes from one or two of that zones heads. I then go to my well pump and crack the threaded bleeder on top of the impeller housing. air bubbles will then come out and within a minute or two zone #8 will pressurize and come to life. The system will then finish off the remaining watering cycle without a hitch. Next day this same problem will repeat. What might I check in my system? Thanks

thanks! I realized that it is "in-align" is ON, not horizontal not vertical. I got it turn on.

I had to install a new transformer. I am getting low reading in the manual setting. I suspect the new transformer. How do i test the new transformer?

Check the voltage at the terminals coming out when you power a zone. Ot ho to yo ur ohms and read the ohms at your controller for each valve.
