Thank you so much for this tutorial. Other tutorials I have seen go too fast and I can't tell what they are doing. You have made this so much easier! Thank you!!
AUTO does not start our system automatically any more after we had a power outage that lasted about 3 hours a few weeks ago. Every day we have to press and hold the start button, and then it will cycle through the various stations. But it doesn't start automatically the following day. Any clues/tips?
For Program A, B and C, you can have several starting times. However, each starting times will run thru all the zones. In order to do separate watering times, you will need to use different program button. Select program B, select only the zones you want to water at special times. The watering time for all other zones should be at zero and will not be effected by the program A selection. Caution: special time for program B should not interfere with program A watering duration.
Will it cycle through all the programs? Or just the selected one? For example if i want it to run 20 minutes in the spring and 30 in the summer. Can i set program A to run 20 and program B to 30 then just switch between programs given the season? Or if I set program A to run at 1am on Monday and program B to run at 1 am on Tuesday. Will the sprinklers run on Monday and Tuesday? Despite the auto showing A or B.
I wouldn't mess around with different programs unless you are comfortable with settings. You can increase the "SEASONAL ADJUST" to higher percentage which will be lot easier. For example, if you have 5 min on zone #1, 8 min on zone #2 and etc, by increasing the percentage to 200%, the controller will increase the watering time to 10 min on zone #1 and 16 min for zone #2 and etc. Hope this helps.
Last week I had this controller installed to replace my old one. When I turn it off, will I have to reprogram it when I need to turn it back on so long as I don't unplug the power cord from the outlet?
Hi guys…losing my mind..I have just installed the ESP-TM2 and I have programmed it…let’s say I’ve programmed the three stations to go on at 9PM for 15 minutes each…after the third station stops, the first one starts again…like it’s on a loop! WHY???
Don't know but if we figure it out will post. We've all got this model in our neighborhood and most ppl hate this system with a passion lol. Feel your frustration. Call customer service. Good luck.
Is there another starting times on Program A? How about Program B and C? I would clear all Program B and C starting times. You already have 4 starting times on Program A.
All sorted…it was my fault…I was making the mistake, it wasn’t an error of the system. I was setting times for one station and not the others…the display confused me with “1st”…i thought it meant first station, but it meant first starting time!! So I thought 2nd was 2nd station, etc…very silly of me!

Again, Very Good. But you need the camera to be on a tripod rather than hand held.
Great tutorial. Thank you.
Thanks! When you are not manually watering, should it be left in auto mode?
"AUTO" mode is correct
@@5280Fix thank you! Our builder left it flashing in “start times” mode and it seemed off
So I noticed in the end , how you pressed “hold play button to start” for the AUTO part. Do I gotta do that every single time ?
Did you ever find out about that?

Hi, do you accept business cooperation? about reviewing the smart sprinkler controller
I m doing it as a hobby at this time

Yes, you are correct. Select the dial to "off" will preserve all your settings till next time.
Thanks so much. You were very helpful and thorough.
How to stop system from running after completing the entire cycle?
If you are on manual cycle but have the selector switch on "Auto", it should stop at the end of cycle and ready for scheduled watering cycle.
Hi, is it possible to change the battery after the 10 years? What's going to happend after 10 years? Is it going to lose the time settings?
As long as you do not unplug it, it should be fine.
Super helpful thank you
Thank you so much!

@@lelechaplinWhat does the first starting time means then? Is it saying when the first cycle starts, or when the first station goes off?
