From Randy in Chattanooga: Don’t worry about those folks, Steve. You’re gonna have haters no matter what you do or where you go. Some people aren’t happy unless they’re...bit-or,uh...complaining about something.
I'm 80 and my wife tells me I'm crazy. So I'm going to show her your comment and then she'll say, 'yup, there's two of you out there.' Happy to see I'm not the only one who enjoys FSC making that ol' Cat growl She's a symphony of cylinders.
I'm 66 and please let me be the third in the group...😊 ( ..spend 33+ years of my life on the roads here in europe & middle east....)One of the few youtube channels with real real content...thanks Steve.
Talk about a mixed up soul...I'm from Nova Scotia, sitting on my bed in a resort in Jamaica, watching this wicked video, and missing the lonely roads of Wyoming on my motorcycle. Lol...thanks man. Great video.
Don't mind me, driver. I'm just sitting there in the bunk, catching all the beautifully changing scenery. One (or more)of your commenters used the word therapeutic. Definitely for this 73 yo retired driver, it sure is. Keep them coming. "Roll that coal and stay safe out there!" 🇨🇦👍
Thanks for the ride through the wild west Steve. Beautiful blue skies and scenic vistas over the horizon makes a boy who lives in the flat lands of NW Ohio yearn for a road trip out west!
It's definitely a lot different from the East Coast to out west. As a mid and northern Ohioan, I was in awe when I got my first load from York, Nebraska to Post Falls, Idaho. It's all beautiful out here no matter where you go.
Steve you raise the bar for the quality of your productions. We all share a few choice words for the haters, you have a great day and do what works for you! Thanks for taking us along!
It’s nice to know you have changed your music background to more relaxing background,,,,now we don’t have to take anymore aspirin for headaches and having to mute the head banging,,,I’m glad you took the suggestions,,,roll on…..it’s much more fitting,,,,,great videos 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍👍
The thing about the west coast you have to remember: We have a LOT of public land. Most any state or national park will have offroad trails you can go on. In the PNW (Washington and Oregon) we have a lot of logging roads you can go down, some haven't been used since the 60s and have landslides occasionally, lots of fun.
Great job on content Steve. Made many runs out west and from Rhode Island. 43 years later now retired and your vids bring many memories of incredible times on the road. Actually had a new 84 Peterbilt 359 running it coast to coast back then. Thanks for sharing your journeys
Steve, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this extended ride through the hills and valleys! An accident forced me into early retirement in 2012. I miss being able to be out there on the "highways and byways," and these longer format rides sure do bring back such nice memories of my miles and miles on the road! Keep up the awesome work, my friend! Your content is very therapeutic! Just a little side note, back in the day anytime I would final anywhere within striking distance of The Port of Baltimore I had an agent who I extensively worked with that had imported Farmall tractors heading to dozens of dealers across the Midwestern area of the Country. I knew that I would always be able to get off of the East Coast with little trouble! Truck 'em easy, Buddy! "Shiney up, greasy down"!
These last 2 Wyoming videos Sure have brought back a lot of memories. I used to make two runs a week to logan that way. That is one road you don't want to take when you're tired and it's dark.
hey man i know what its like i live 25 miles south of buffalo N,Y iiiiiii ran from home to CALF back to N ,Jesey and in 7 days yes yes no bulll shit love it cant do it like that any moore thx
Watching this in the middle of summer in Australia and feeling the Wyoming cold!! All your videos are brilliant Steve but this was one of your very best. Keep up the great work!
❤ Thank you for this Amazing video Steve! Beautiful, thrilling, I felt like I was riding in the cab! Once again you show the Fantastic quality of a mechanic you are with that down hill ONE lane drive your brakes worked flawlessly, wow that was some scary curves! Stay safe I've got to share this!
Love that old girl with the straight stacks rolling coal is what old school do . If it doesn't roll coal it's not running Wright . Denis from Santa Rosa CA .
More awesome scenery footage. Thank you Steve. I know you were being sarcastic in regard to da haters. You can either say F...'m or pray for them. For those of you who might not know, Sylvester Stallone shot some of Rocky 4 in the mountainous parts of Wyoming (outdoor training acenes in Russia for his character).
Relentless, great photography and audio Steve best balance of Orwell and music. I always think of the road crew and road construction guys in isolated areas. Thanks for sharing 👍
Awesome video, Steve! Wyoming and Montana are my favorite places! You have to visit Glacier National Park if you haven't yet. It's absolutely spectacular! I would love it if you could discuss the topic of becoming a new driver while you are cruising in Orwell. I've done some extreme road trips before and the trucking lifestyle seems exciting to see all the new places. Drive safe, brother
That is a beautiful content what you are showing of the ice fog in the distance in Wyoming just beautiful, be careful and safe out there, mike from Mississippi.
Goin a little fast past the Green River bar, all kinds of place to ride around Big Piney Marbelton, also some of the best off road in Utah. If you get the chance to come up this way again stop in Teton valley Idaho and I'll take you up in the balloon
🇨🇦 Merci Steve 👍🏼 cette vidéo fait partie de ton top 3️⃣. C’était magnifique, c’est triste pour ta caméra, j’adore les prises de vue. J’ai hâte de voir la suite…🤙🏼
Steve if you had a jeep you could come out here to Colorado and drive some of the jeep trails we have and go and see some of the old ghost towns and some old gold mining towns as well. Or go drive the jeep trails in Moab Utah. Or other places in Utah as well.
🎶 track? It’s *Peace by Piece* by *Staffan Carlén* - and yes we are THRILLED to be your trusted provider. ua-cam.com/video/czorII2OFYU/v-deo.html // Epidemic Sound
It started snowing here Friday evening didn’t stop till Sunday evening into Monday the say from 105 cm to 160 cm but that ice fog can be deadly haven’t seen snow like that since 94
Let that man be that music goes right along with the whole driving thing, I drove truck for 11 years and I know how its feels to be out their alone with fog on the road not knowing if something is going to happen if you are a driver then should also know that feeling sir
Hi Steve and Orwell love video has beautiful scenery love sound of Orwell both stack sound so awesome and don’t listen to people with negative attitude thanks for ride and as always you both be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I figure you in the high elevation. The Cabover is letting out a lot of black smoke. I guess a high elevation and mix temps I bet. Lot of small towns out there being by passed by big highways but getting to small places you would have to take back road like this to get someplace. Tho you see a lot of great thing along the way you would not see on big highways. Pretty great content.
I really miss running out across that way. I always use to run rt.30 from little america on i-80 and across rt 30 to i-15 in Idaho. Beautiful scenery and often times great views of wildlife.
Steve you mentioned wanting areas to use a side by side well look in Nevada around Crescent Valley as there is plenty of off-road area to explore and possibly camp if you want. Crescent Valley has Rv site parking even if you want a place to safely park without being in a gas station or rest stop. Great video today got the beautiful coal footage several times 😁
Hi Steve, I'm a retired truck driver from the UK and the continent , You do a good job and I enjoy the videos, just wish I could've done some driving in the USA,
That ice fog is something to behold and something to fear because up on the Great Lakes, it's usually mixed with freezing spray which is a nightmare to try to break off a ship or a boat.
Hook up with Matt's OffRoad Recovery out of Hurricane, Utah, in the SE corner of the state. There is tons of sand to run on, as well as rock trails. You might even get a collab series out of it.
I was looking at your show on UA-cam you talk about your wife the car your son get the new car I see you right on point with everything bro continue to do UA-cam where do you get good comments or bad comments if you like doing UA-cam man hey do what you feel is right do what's good for the channel as long as you voice your opinion the right way from Germantown Maryland not a truck I don't know how to drive a truck but just love these these kids we see on UA-cam for me it's entertaining great job keep up the good work man God first all will come to order
I love my w9. And I’ve done trucking in both, conventional and coe. It’s a definitely different feel when trucking in a C/O. I do miss that part. Thanks Steve
Steve & Orwell another trip 'back in time' when the term 'Man & Machine' meant something. I remember trips when I 'patted' my 1978 K-100/430 Detroit/13 overdrive on the nose thanking it for a safe trip. That K-100 was 'The Other Woman' in my life !! 🤠 Steve / W5BIB - OTR 1977-2009
Hey Steve awesome scenery. My wife and I rode the piute trails in Utah. We were in a razor but I don't know if you can do it in a jeep. Beautiful ride. Stay safe and god bless
Check out the trails that go off and around US 12 across Idaho Wyoming and Montana. I used to drive truck through there just because of the mountain scenery and go up there to 4wheel
I wish you would stop playing that music . stick with trucking and stop trying to be a DJ.!!!!!
I wish you would stop complaining . stick with watching UA-cam videos and stop trying to be a content creator.!!!!

Steve was being sarcastic. He pays no mind to the trolls and haters, they just get added to the Karen pile.

Very strange when the air is stratified like that. Kinda like what inversion gravity layer clouds do.
Wide open spaces. Utah one of the cleanest places I have traveled to. Thanks.

I’m sure this is your best every footage , with the snow , fog , sun truly epic Steve
A little weather geek knowledge... Fog forms when the difference between the actual air temperature and the dew point temperature is less than 4.5° F.
Thanks for the ride Steve. Had'nt been west since the 70's

Was stationed in Utah for five years back in early 2000s. I agree, it’s a beautiful part of the country many don’t get to see
Looks like Orwell really puts out the coal in cold high altitude conditions! 👏🏽 👍🏼☺
Love being in the cab with you on these scenic trips!☺

Fog . What you said is true. It was a very beautiful day. Just had to be careful and drive within the limits set by the conditions. Great video.

Hi Steve, I'm a retired truck driver from the UK and the continent ,
You do a good job and I enjoy the videos, just wish I could've done some driving in the USA,
February 6th was our 46th Anniversary for the Blizzard of 1978 in R.I. I Slept at our local mall for 3 days because we couldn't make it home
What about Ocotillo Wells for off roading?
18:44 I couldn't imagine living in such an isolated place.
Bring the trail toys down there on Orwell, then see how many of Matt's rigs will fit on Orwell.
There is also an Easter Jeep event nearby.
The joys of driving in the fog, stay safe Steve

Great scenery views. The one I was especially fond of was the rusty cab corner.
WOW THAT WAS GREAT THE SCENERY WAS WOW
Just checking to see if everyone is ok. I just learned about the tornado in Wisconsin.
I think who ever named that town was a bottle or two of whiskey over his tolerance lol
Great video Steve! Kemmerer, beginnings of JC Penney store.
Beautiful country during the winter
🍭SWEET🍭Kept thinking that Ole 1955 281 Pete from the MOVIE “Dual” was going to appear out of the fog 👀Yikes! 🚛LOL Great video Steve🙏🏼💖👍🏻🌞

Really enjoyed the video. Nice content. Big difference to when you go out east lol!

Great video and keep up the good work God bless from GA stay safe
Boy Steve that top left cab corner is going to need some attention soon.
Been through there several times hauling government milk out of Logan . And once you get past Bear lake the road gets smaller and very narrow
Go to the sand dunes in Moses Lake, WA for off roading.
Check out the trails that go off and around US 12 across Idaho Wyoming and Montana. I used to drive truck through there just because of the mountain scenery and go up there to 4wheel
