It was nice of supervisor Fred to watch and make sure you did a good job on such a long haul. He’s the real hero of this adventure.
Fred climbing over the packaged water between the seats had me cracking up😂
Good to see Fred back on the big screen. Have not seen him since Smokey and the Bandit.
Great driving and great teamwork from the escorts!
You crack me up !! Your pronunciation of “Nav-A-Soda” I lived closed to there as a Ranch Mgr for a long time. Awww Hell you can’t help it, you from the 51st state
🤣 I speak French not Mexican
True, true you Keep On Truck’n bc I’ve gotta go do the same thing shortly. Oooh BTW I speak TEXAN only….
22:52 The reflections off the hood with the clouds makes it look like it was painted on. lol It looks really neat.
If you check my Instagram I got a perfect reflection on the hood of a Boeing 777 flying over the other day 😇😇😇
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 That sounds neat!
Ur dad and the company must have alot convinced in u no matter what is on the trailer u have complete control , u and Fred love doing what u do KEEP ON TRUCKING and HAPPY HOLIDAYS .
Thank you and Happy Holidays 😊
I always enjoy your videos
Very nice to see Fred again
Your friend Scott on Vancouver Island Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you Scott 😊
Part one was great as usual. Waiting for #2 with you and Fred.
Fred is cool, he's just like the dog on the movie Smokey and the bandit ❤
That new truck takes these loads in it's stride. It's a great set up.
I’m very pleased with the job it is doing 😊
You rolled through my home of Atlanta, Texas (south of Texarkana) on US59…was cool to see some footage of highway and moves through Txk!
Small world ✌️✌️✌️
Love the dog, really enjoy your skills of driving. Rare in the truck world. Watching from Central Florida Dec 15.
Thank you 😊🫡
Good equipment and good teamwork you mean. Kudos to Mario for being a good team mate and showing his mastery of the most important team skill, communication. ( the not sure about alignment with this trailer info he communicated )
and Fred chewing on you is why I said he needs more chew toys when you posted the first vid in the new truck.
Yes indeed. Teamwork is #1 with this kind of trucking!
Enjoy your videos, amazing work you do… Bilingual, pilot car, steerable trailer and navigation all while chatting to the camera. Keep up the videos as they are sure great to watch !
Thank you 😊
Just starting the trucking class here in Quebec at the end of March! Watching these videos is really inspiring and I hope to be able to haul things as impressive as this someday!
The great thing about trucking is there are so many different kinds of trucking. Everyone can find what they enjoy best. The most important quality in a good driver is patience. With a little patience you will go far!!
Hope to see you on the road some day
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 It is indeed! Slow and steady wins the race after all.
Fred isn't so small anymore. Love the video.
I'm a week long without my dog this whole week. I miss my co pilot, can't wait to get home and pick him back up. Your puppy got big fast.
Yup! He had to grow into his paws 🤣
I have family in Waller. Been on those roads . Awesome video again! My parents moved there in 1980.
Je suis persuadé ne pas être le premier à la sortir celle-là mais c'est incroyable a quel point le nouveau SnowRunner est rendu beau. lol
That rig is a beast, Doug.
I love watching your video especially now with Fred, he says this my truck you just drive. Great Video great skills.
Haha we all know who is the boss 🤔🤔🤔
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 I noticed how he made you pay some attention to him with those playful chewing of your hand.
42:45. you just passed Chuck Norris’s water bottling company CForce. Take my motorcycle that route once in while on the weekend. Absolutely spectacular video. Love it.
I did not know that!
Well bud part1 was awesome brilliant trucking 🚛 video 📹, expertly driven bud, 👏 👍
Thank you 😊
I am editing Part 2 now. Hopefully out soon!
Hi Doug and Fred thanks for another awesome video Doug and life is so much easier with a steerable trailer and such a great job by your pilots Rick and Mario so wishing you safe miles cheers from tim in queensland australia ( keep on trucking )
Thanks Tim 😊
Really enjoy your videos ! Thank you 😊
Its a good thing you have Mario as your backup
Oh yes with Mario behind me I know we can get it done!
Fred looks happy!!
He’s living his best life 😇
@luckybanana - poor ole Fred he’d rather be out with dad going for walks and fishing all day! This trucking thing - he doesn’t know what his dad sees in it!?! Really boring and his passenger seat is too small for him now! At least you got the scratchy nut and bum just right! And if he touches your hand once with his tail then you’re good to go on his side! If you take the time to teach him he’ll soon know how to change gear - his paws are getting so big!
As usual I really enjoyed riding along with you on a lovely day through Texas and into Arkansas! Will be along for the second instalment and it’s really good to see you and your poopie back together! Where you go Fred goes with you! Keep on trucking!
@ivatt442 thank you 😊 I always love reading the comments 😊
This must be the load you had on when we met you and chatted about load binder at the Petro. Can't wait to see the 2nd half. Hope to see ya again out there on the road.
Yes exactly! Same load
Dogs make some of the best companions
Agreed 😊
Fred had the look of oh I got caught when you opened the diver door 😅1:24:57
Another tiptop video!! I want Fred's job!! Bon chance
YES you do and I know this, I used to drive a long oversized trailer. I used to have my CDL A license and I wish I could have it back
Hey Doug, i saw the ole boy on the lawn mower, before you said anything, and that was what i said, he has never owned a motorcyle, you done a good job with the load with Freds help, be careful my friend
Thanks for following along and taking the time to leave a comment 😊
Fred seems to be enjoying the trucker life 🙂
Are you enjoying being an Owner Operator ?
Great videos, thank you for sharing your expertise with all of us.
Merry Christmas to you and your family Doug .
It's a 11:28 PM here 12/15 /2024, I have had a goofy day not sure the cause but slept 9 hours last night then 9 hours today woke up at 8:45 this night I'm happy you uploaded Transporter, I hope you had a good week Doug and I hope you have a Blessed Christmas, Amen.
Thank you for following along!!! Merry Christmas 😊
Hi Doug, 1st Fred is looking very healthy and happy. Now that's what I call load weather looking really nice. Get another basset hound female and call her Wilma (FLINTSTONES TV PROGRAMME)lol. Keep them wheels rolling Keep on trucking. Mike from Bridlington UK 🇬🇧. Ps Happy Christmas to you and yours.
Haha one puppy is enough trouble!
Merry Christmas 😊
Hey Doug ,,""FRED"" & ALL Family !!! Have ""HAPPY HOLIDAYS "" to ALL !!! 🎄🎄🥳🥳 Thanks for the ride again & Are you shutting down till after the ""NEW YEAR"" ??? 👍👍👍👍👍
No rest for the wicked 🤪
Happy Holidays 😊
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407Well then, hope you can stay to the North side of the Lakes as more snow for the snowbelts in NY, PA & OH . Happy Trails to You & Fred !!
I love the music that you have chosen
All the music in this video is from the band “Desert Drive”
@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 is it a French band?
@Michael-uv1nn no you can find them on soundstripe.com
@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 thanks Doug
WOW what a ride Dug
awesome
thank you from Germany
Thomas
Glad you enjoyed Thomas! Thanks for following 😊
Hi Doug greetings from exit 40 I87 in ny love your videos especially how much information you give us non drivers.Could at some point show us Mario’s controls he uses to steer the trailer thanks Doug have a merry Christmas and a happy new year
Unfortunately my escorts don’t want to be filmed while driving but I might do an explanatory video when I’m stopped in the future
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 no I understand Doug you’re explanation would be perfect 😍
Isn't it nice that Freddie warms your seat when you're not sitting in it.
As long as he’s not chewing the seat we can all get along 🤣
Hey Doug, I think you can eliminate all cameras and just work with the Fred cam!! 😂🐶🤣
Yeah it seems to be the Fred show now 🥱
The pup sure is getting big. He may need his own truck. Am I correct that you use one radio for the lead spotter and a second radio for the trail escort?
Typically The escorts are on the same channel. 2nd radio is for the occasional handheld for police escorts on different frequency.
In this case you are correct. I had the front and rear escorts on different channels. It is less confusing when working in 2 languages. My front escort being English and my rear escort French
When I first found out about Fred I thought of the Movie Smoky and The Bandit where he stops for a break along the side of the road and Fred decided he wanted to go for a swim LOL
I know exactly which scene you are talking about 😊
Has Fred locked you out of the truck yet? He wants to know when it's his turn to drive! Great video and Merry Christmas to you and Fred!
Indeed he has locked me out. Now I usually have a spare in my pocket 🤣
Fred say Dad i've only needed a pee break for about 15 miles LOL
Thats an efficient team !
Doug, I think that at 1:09 Fred was trying to tell you he had to pee 💩😂
🤣🤣🤣 probably
when u stopped at the weigh station, how did u get the cab camera to follow you when u walked around the front of the truck? or was Fred manning the camera? 😄
It's a 360 cam
@@wundarwunop9041 he taking no chances and has all angles covered with total of 4 cams? I've counted interior 360, one on each rear mirror, and a front facing go-pro.
Hello Doug another Great Video!!! Hi Fred I told your Dad you needed a bigger seat on your side and he said if you want to stretch out you can lay on the floor HOW RUDE LOL Does Fred go Fishingwith you?
He has not been in the boat yet! Hopefully next summer
Fred the basset hound is actually a comic strip that goes way back before smokey and the bandit. I’m pretty sure it was the inspiration for the dogs name in the movie.
I did not know that!
Have you driven any trucks with the Eaton Endurant 18 speed? There’s the Endurant and the Ultra shift. The Ultrashift is the older style, the Endurant I think anyone would enjoy. After the Endurant, I wouldn’t want to shift gears any more.
I grew up in Waller, Texas! Live in Ann Arbor, MI now
Small world! ✌️✌️✌️
I grew up in Magnolia TX, next city over to Waller. Super small world! That’s what caught my eye was Waller TX being so close to me
Sophie Quebec!, Canada? Wow.... From Texas Bro..
Indeed
Big load I was wondering how much you weight on this load and keep up the good work
Do you run big rigs like this in the winter? I imagine the snow and ice would be way more dangerous
Yes we work all year. It is definitely more stressful and things usually work at a slower pace but we still get it done!
Thanks for the reply. Always appreciate your videos.
Somebody must have a add on remote start for your rear steer.
Dad, I'm tryin' ta tell ya ,I have to pee.
Well they finally give steerable trailer, which could’ve of use in some previous loads🤔😉. And being 10 to 15 older than u I’m guessing, do u feel like Jerry Reed/Ried sometimes u have Fred now👍🏻🥸😎
I’m a sucker for the classics 😇
What are they chilling with gas in St. Sophie ? I'm in Hawkesbury Ontario area not far. I am sure you have come over the bridge from Grenville QC. Many times.
Bonne Route !
Small world! I actually went to school in Lachute!
There is a large garbage dump in Ste Sophie. These are installed at waste sites. Something to do with the gas that comes out of the ground.
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 ah! They should install one at the dump on the 417 and 138! Ça pu s'tie ! 🤢
Fred for the win....
Great video! Is Fred named after Fred from Smokey And The Bandit?
Yup
Hey Doug, Happy Holidays for your Friends in Boston! Hope the doggie and the Misses are doing well, another great video champ ❤️ Also, didn't know you could back up with all those dollys and jeeps on your truck, how do you keep them all straight?
Practice, practice, practice!
Happy Holidays 😊
Your customer sure didn't make it easy for you to get out after loading. They need to find a better way to load you guys.
Story of my life. Real estate is expensive. These places are all the same!
Story of my life as well always a tight place to get into
Nice to follow you on Google MAPS !
No way you named your dog after the snowman's!!!!!
Haha
Merci. Très intéressant tes emissions
Is Fred’s name a reference to Smokey and the Bandit?
Yup
Awesome,,, how many feet of inserts are in the trailer for that transport?
73 feet in the well!!!
@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 lots a shimms
@louisdefazio171 you know it! But I’m really happy with the way it turned out. No waves in the floor
@Lucky Banana Heavy Haul Question. Right at the start. Is it not easier to reverse in and drive out? Or isn't there enough room to drive out when laden?
It was a question of the box being placed in proper orientation on the trailer. Because we used 2 cranes they could not turn the box
Got a question man if you go down to the US so often to haul up loads do you need a USA work permit?
Truckers automatically get a temporary work permit every time we cross the border. We don’t actually see the permit but we’re in the system. However it only allows me to truck loads from the USA to Canada or Canada to USA. I am not allowed to remain in the USA and truck loads within the USA
safe travel sir
Fred wanted to drive for a bit.
or he would rather leave this rolling cage.
Bias plies and zip ties: You ain't got to worry bout turnin no corners or cowboys around Navasota, Tx. Very enjoyable videos.Take care good sir.
Your pronunciation of Navasota is way off. Too much French in it. Lol. The last time I drive HWY 90, it did not have shoulders on it. Enjoyed the drive. Thanks for sharing.
Fred wants his turn at the wheel.
This trip was smooth compared to the last one.
Could really use steerable trailer when in the city. That long bridge was a pain just to watch, can't imagine being in his skin.
That’s not an Arkansas trooper. That’s DOT. 😅 he’s on rondo road and you’re turning north off highway 82. I work in this area. Been see all the wide loads coming down Hwy 67 lately
Well I still appreciate him not saying anything about the red light 😅
46:00 Smokey and the bandit location. Was Fred named after the dog in that movie?
Indeed he was!!!
What do think about hauling a load to Saguenay ?
Been there many times!
i couldnt help but notice your front pilot does NOT know his cars very well at all😂
You"re going to have a hound dog that knows his way around North America by the smell.
🤣 indeed
Curious why you drove around Texarkana like that....why not I 49?
Could be bridge height or weight restriction. Could be lane closures in construction… my route is provided by the state to avoid obstacles.
A little warmer in Texas than Quebec I bet
Indeed. Was happy for the sunshine 😊
after watching you get stuck so many times, having the steerable trailer practically seems like cheating 🤣🤣
It is definitely the right equipment for the job! I wish they were all like that
Ca va tu au nouveau plant waste management a st.sophie?
Oui exact!
How to tell you’re running OS/OD in Texas, the cops almost always help you, whether they’re involved in the “parade” or not.
10-4 on the cowboys on the roads in Texas!! Also have to watch out for the steers & queers!!
Navosta 😹 nav-uh-so-tuh ❤
lol nope I wouldn’t have guessed 🤷🏼♂️
You have to let me know the songs that you have chosen for your ride
I can drive to this music driving down the road
1:12:33 Fred watches the mirror. He looks concerned.
Concerned he won’t get his dinner on time 🤣
👍👍👍
name of the song at 13:00 awesome video 💪
The songs in this video are all by the band “Desert Drive”
@ they don’t have the whistling in there song is that normal??
@etiennebernier2375 maybe the version I found on Soundstripe is different. Go on the Soudstripe website and
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 it’s Desert dive thank you I’m found it 👍
