I always enjoyed a leisurely ride across the old AA when time permitted. Absolutely beautiful ride, and it kinda gave me a better appreciation for what life over the road was like for the generation of drivers who preceded me. I love what you are doing for us! I was forced to retire at least 20 years earlier than Ig planned due to health issues. Getting to ride along with you kinda eases the sting of what I was hoping for... THANK YOU, STEVE!!!
Good seeing that opening sequence with you in time-lapse showing how frequently an attentive driver not only looks where they are going, but looks for what is coming up from behind and beside, plus checking the gauges to make sure his rig is running right. I have seen accident footage from cams pointed at drivers showing them in a thousand yard death stare or messing around on their phones or even falling asleep at the wheel before a crash. Stay safe out there, Steve.
Its amazing the difference a seat can make I had problems with my left side an didn't realise it was the seat. When your racking up the miles a good seat is VIP.
It was quite evident in this video who the Star is, Orwell. He sure is chugging away with the dump truck on the RGN. Love all the different camera shots. Great video FSC. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring.
Apart from a new drivers seat Steve Orwell also needs a passengers side mudflap and rear chrome drive rims to look the part otherwise orwell still looks rough and ready
Being a retired cat tech...its really interesting how the a&b models love the higher rpm as a mechanical injected engine. Now move into the electronic engines for example...2ws...6nz. The favorite for glider builds and so on.The ECM fired unit injected engines male the best power at 1600 to 1800 rpm. Just a comparison on evolution of these awesome power plants
Looks like North Carolina dot truck looks like it carried a salt spreader for few years I got old f350 4 door from state auction it was ruff body but good mechanical it's a beast .
Hey Steve do you ever miss having the ease of a conventional in having to get in and out of when hooking and unhooking , and did you ever get your one drive tire replace or are you still running the steer tire on it
Gotta love when you stop at a light and it turns green... Why go to the gym when you can haul loads like this? Almost a complete workout! Nice camera angles as always and a lil CB chatter. I'm pretty sure I see rust flying off with the rear camera!!🤣🤣🤣 The big news you've been hyping up is soon approaching. ⏰👀
My only thing why didn't you cage the brakes on the dump truck and back it on that's a dot truck and probably wore out, great video keep up the good work God bless from GA and stay safe
That dump truck is a money maker. If I were you, I wouldn’t talk that truck you’re driving a lot of people would say -who would pay to keep thatcab over on the road no need to criticize when you’re in the same boat just saying driver💯
Why does your truck smoke so bad when you shift gears? You probably have a soup up setting on the motor. It’s nice to have that extra power. I liked the color of that truck plus it was a Sterling. I’m going to look up when the last year they made that brand.
Steve, The quickest, safest and legal way the to tie the rear down is to run the chain between the duals and squish rubber. Let the truck ride naturally. I have many trucks and trailers across the states and never had an issue. Thanks for lovely 362 view as I drove a '96 362 for about 10 years hauling used fuel trucks and trailer. Keep up the great work!
35 is better than running AA if double AA is the same as it was when I last ran it 20+ years ago it's got some towns to go through and its got some pretty good hills, them police used to like catching trucks coming down those hills, I don't run it anymore since I discovered 35.
STEVE. Sometime could you go through the dials, switches, levers etc. displayed in and around you. Explain to and shòw us non truck drivers which does what ? Gracias😊.
Don't know what kind of trailer that is, but watching the in and out of the cab just to detach was painful. As much heavy equipment you haul I believe I would be looking at a Trail King, Rogers or Talbert detachable gooseneck............... Just thinking out loud.
Steve watched a vedio from D Dominicgic she was in Reno Nevada at a truck show. I've got a sword, I've saying. Trucks that had the same paint scheme as Orwell or well. The other family gets a chance to play Sudden death. What happened to Ross? Here we go, and I'll be mad.
Wow that trailer got some serious rust never pass here in oz , US must be lenient compared to Australia. bit fast forwarding on this on with the noise/music. but still interesting with the commentary parts
@FSC Trucking ... great content, new subscriber, I was just curious what you truckers use for navigation apps, specifically what you're using in this video with the big speed display
I watch all your videos you and Orwell and I enjoy them I just have one question is that truck safe to be out there with all that rot on the metal and holes and Rusty are you due for a new trailer here soon just a question
My guess is that was an old surplus state truck... then that business where you picked it up had bought it... and then they run it for another several years more.
Steve, in your experience, how do you know when a load of yours is adequately secured? Especially in a situation like this where you have a vehicle with tons of frame rust. Knowing my neurotic ass, I’d stare at those tie downs a thousand times before I felt good about them 😂. Thanks in advance.
The interior kinda matches Orwells, maybe Steve looking for more of that UA-cam eassy money you think he would at least buy Orwell a seat cover and matching drive wheels.

What is the AA?
Yeah that is a good road and yes I'm from Carter county from Hitchins over and Grayson
Steve I enjoy your fast forward film

More companies need to give the SMITH system course!
Nice video. Great background road music!
Steve with all the miles and bouncing around a cabover puts you through treat yourself with a new seat for Orwell and you.
Its amazing the difference a seat can make I had problems with my left side an didn't realise it was the seat. When your racking up the miles a good seat is VIP.
I was thinking 🤔 the same
Keeping fit in and out of the truck 🚚 steve
Same thought here!
Nearly 40 years of trucker farts in that puppy
That 64 thru WV is an f''n roller coaster, thank goodness it's summer time lmao, stay safe, and rock on man
Thanks for the low boy disconnect/reconnect, been driving for years, and never got the opportunity to play with those 😂
It's paying the bills...The way rates are right now in the dumper! FSC is now Sanford and sons!! Lol
Nice to see you were in my neck of the woods. Safe travels.
It was quite evident in this video who the Star is, Orwell. He sure is chugging away with the dump truck on the RGN. Love all the different camera shots. Great video FSC. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring.
Keep on trucking 👍
Good ol plow truck from NCDOT lol, I imagine that truck has seen a lot of salt or brine in its life.
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary and the music. That old rusty parts truck or rebuilder.
I remember afew weeks ago when you grabbed the broken down bucket truck from a auction lot. People buying junk. Amazing.
Apart from a new drivers seat Steve Orwell also needs a passengers side mudflap and rear chrome drive rims to look the part otherwise orwell still looks rough and ready

Great job on securing the load.
Some guys dont understand it.
Looks like North Carolina dot truck looks like it carried a salt spreader for few years I got old f350 4 door from state auction it was ruff body but good mechanical it's a beast .
I miss driving my old 84 Pete cabover I love that truck
Love it when you roll that beautiful coal footage
The cab view out the front window is a 100 percent better viewing experience
The days of climbing in and out of the cabover
That sign 🪧 on the back Stay Back 100 Ft… should say 1000 Ft.. tetanus risk
good to see u again
Hey Steve do you ever miss having the ease of a conventional in having to get in and out of when hooking and unhooking , and did you ever get your one drive tire replace or are you still running the steer tire on it
He's still running that steer from what I've seen and I have the same question about getting in and out of the cab when loading/unloading.
I cant believe that rusty truck would ever leave a junkyard!
Gotta love when you stop at a light and it turns green... Why go to the gym when you can haul loads like this? Almost a complete workout! Nice camera angles as always and a lil CB chatter. I love when drivers get it on big radio
Steve you sure do get a good workout every time you chain down your loads. Obviously some are easygoing and others is a little more work.
yea like the drill SGT. used to say "YOUR OTHER RIGHT" hahaha!!!!
A hard working man and truck nice
Great video Steve
I thought the last Sterling you loaded was rough until I saw this one. Looks like they beat the shit out of the cab and it lost the war miserably.
My only thing why didn't you cage the brakes on the dump truck and back it on that's a dot truck and probably wore out, great video keep up the good work God bless from GA and stay safe
Good job steve
Another interesting video keep em up.

Manual RGN sure isn't a lazy mans trailer.
81 is a rough road !
That’s a old nc dot salt shaker snow plow dump…. Sterling is really hard to find parts for
With all the stuff you haul, have you ever refused a pickup?

Thank expose the way chain lot people don't know nice video.
It is about time to get a new seat to replace the worn out one in the truck now.
I think you are doing a great job with the video and they are very educational videos and I like them
They should've taken the drive shaft out & caged the brakes so they could've loaded it with the cab facing Orwell
Give that truck some love!!!!! maybe invest in a newer lowboy??

Every time i see so much rust on equipment I can't help be think how much road salt that trust has seen over the years.
That looks like an old DOT salt spreader/plow truck. You can hear it dissolving...
@@thomasdragosr.841 🤣
Time for a new driver's seat 💺
Welcome to Virginia from Winchester, VA!
The good news, the more the rust falls off, the lighter the truck becomes.
I guess now you can say you're a dump truck driver. just like Domonique.
Stay safe out there.
Watch out for those cops on AA they ride around in mustangs 👌
STEVE. Sometime could you go through the dials, switches, levers etc. displayed in and around you. Explain to and shòw us non truck drivers which does what ? Gracias😊.

but still interesting with the commentary parts
New seat in the future help with the back
His seat look as bad as the truck he's hauling 😂😂
@FSC Trucking ... great content, new subscriber, I was just curious what you truckers use for navigation apps, specifically what you're using in this video with the big speed display
You should make a video on how those chain ratchets work. Why all the excess chain? And how tight should you make them?
Good Music 🎶 🎵
Name that tune...
Good evnin brother
I live only an hour away from waynesboro Virginia I would love to seen your truck in person
You're talking about Grayson Kentucky or greenup Kentucky the national parkway in the double a highway in Grayson Kentucky and Carter county
Old NC DOT truck from the mountains.
Hi Steve i agree with you i would not haul a dump truck that is a rust bucket
Looks about as tore up as every other Sterling I've ever seen.
Junk or Jewel, doesn't matter, hauling it pays the same.
I watch all your videos you and Orwell and I enjoy them I just have one question is that truck safe to be out there with all that rot on the metal and holes and Rusty are you due for a new trailer here soon just a question
Just don't let the DOT inspector do a roadside on that one. I saw 10 OOS tires alone when they were loading it up.😅
This dump truck use to be a NCDOT plow truck, they either seen heavy use and abuse, or they were hardly ever used.
I'm from Carter county
Steve ever answer anyones questions?! 😉
When I have the time (and patience).
My guess is that was an old surplus state truck... then that business where you picked it up had bought it... and then they run it for another several years more.
I know the double a highway you're talking about now
Double AA is the shortest way to Cinny from VA
Your driver's seat is as raggedy as mine in my truck it's comfortable though 😂
He needs a new seat
Steve, in your experience, how do you know when a load of yours is adequately secured? Especially in a situation like this where you have a vehicle with tons of frame rust. Knowing my neurotic ass, I’d stare at those tie downs a thousand times before I felt good about them 😂. Thanks in advance.
Looks like an old DOT truck. Hard to give those things away.
Have you gone back to using your own trailer?
You're either talking about
Question. Why does the left stack blow more black smoke than the right one.
The driver's side stack is a longer run, so the exhaust is running a little cooler on that side.
Paper logs? Can we still do them?
Steve how fast can Orwell go
Well if you can make a buck hauling it go for it.
What GPS app are you using?
the dump truck is a FORD
That thing spread a many of ton of salt on Afton Mountain on I 64 and Christiansburg Mountain on I 81.
Does Working with Super EGO require having a SUPER EGO ???
👍🖖
i want my 42.22 mins back. what a waste of my time
Double or nothing. Watch again in reverse.
Turn off the chicken band
The junk people pay money for.
It's not that bad if the price was right.
Sad how municipal employees destroy hard earned taxpayer equipment.
The interior kinda matches Orwells, maybe Steve looking for more of that UA-cam eassy money you think he would at least buy Orwell a seat cover and matching drive wheels.
We're are you
It's a bitch operating an RGN manual with a cabover
