Stop leaving yourself vulnerable to data breaches and brokers. Go to my sponsor
: aura.com/caseyladelle to get a 14-day free trial and see if any of your data has
    been exposed
My partner Aura just launched their new "Are you smarter than a scammer?" quiz.
Take the quiz and see if you’re as savvy as you think: bit.ly/aurasts
Luckily our customer survived the night and was able to hike out the next day. Once he got back into phone service and realized that he had gone into a closed area, he called law enforcement himself to let them know what had happened, and owned up to his mistake. Since he was upfront and honest with them, they called it no harm no foul and gave us permission to go in and do the recovery. So I loaded up my buddy Trey to help out, brought Alex along to film, and we headed up into the mountains to try out the @mattracks on the new Jeep!

Hi Casey, just want to warn you to be careful going over obstacles backwards with the tracks, angle of attack isn't the same as forward direction.
I broke one of the "tie rods" or control arm once, just going over a curb backward... you know, the bar that prevents the contraption to roll around.
Also if you get stuck in the snow with it...dont yankumrope that shit, the truck will get out, but the bar Im talking about will break.
I hope your setup last without hiccups for the entire season.
Have a happy Holiday season Casey and Family

You customer was a cool cat. Looked like he put a lot of work into getting himself unstuck, took a few tumbles holding the camera on ice. Then passed out snacks and drinks for everyone in the end. Good dude.
    Great work getting him out.

I was skiing at Timberline one day. A family had stayed overnight at the lodge. Dad and 10 year old son came out to defrost the car so the family could leave. Dad handed son a steel flat nose shovel and said. Dig out the car while I get mom your sister and the bags. It had snowed a couple feet since they were there. So the son started digging and chipping the ice off the car with a steel shovel. On all the windows and doors…………I tried to stop him and explain what he was doing. “ Dad told me to and you’re not my Dad” ok…..so I walked off and saw Dad getting close to the car. All I heard was “ What the @&$&$@ are you doing?” I just grinned and kept walking…….

The starting clip had me remembering my 99 Grand Cherokee when the cooling system caught on fire. Fans were installed backwards inside the fan unit, the mechanic used. Had to go 600 miles and was blessed with rain snow and ice. That kept it from over heating, until I got home.

I'm really liking the Jeep with the tracks on it. It looks good and works great.
There is a one point deduction for having a burnt out passenger side reverse
    light though LOL...
The last eight years I drove truck, I went from Bend to Portland empty 5-6 days
a week, and hauled 12,000 gallons of gas back to Central Oregon.
There are some very strange and varied weather patterns on that mountain.

    Track Jeep for the win!
This video puts a knot in my stomach. This morning, I was up in the mountains looking for a black powder buck. The snow got deeper, and I was going fine until the bottom fell out under the tires leaving me like a turtle on a rock.
It took me 3 hours to use a forked willow tree to drag snow from under the body. Stomping and digging around the tires helped. Then the shifting from drive to reverse rocking finally got me out. Nobody knew where I was. My terrier dog was nervous, and I was really close to walking the 11 miles back to pavement. (There are a few spots cell service kinda works 5 miles down though). I drove all the way out without seeing another rig, so I woulda been in for a hike. Lesson learned...again.

You know what you could do to break the tires free in the future on recoverys like this is to grab an sds max hammer drill then a clay spade to dig the ice out right next to the tires as someone who’s worked at a ski resort it’s way faster than just shoveling the feet of features out
Witch is ironically almost the same thing I said this time last winter when you were beating that (swift I think) drivers frozen brakes last winter just with an air hammer
