Thanx so much for this! U jus gave me so much clarity! Do everywhere if u can!!! Northside, Westside, Coki, Eastend,Redhook, Frenchtown,Country, Tutu. U are my eyes!!! Be safe ❤️
Honey Love hi, I wish I could, but there's a curfew everyday 6pm to noon, and then bumper to bumper traffic everywhere, it takes an hour or more to get anywhere... Plus gas is hard to get. But happy that you can catch a partial glimpse 👍⭐️🎩
i was extremely worried. my husband lives in STT. the service is still horrible. so i only get to speak to him when he is able. i shat bricks for a couple days after the storm. im so happy to see at least the extent of the damage and to know that he is safe. You were my eyes. So Thank you dear
Was there in April and can hardly believe my eyes. My heart goes out to all in the Caribbean. Even my small town of Gainesville, GA felt the effects of Irma. Trees on houses, power outages...but nothing like you folks have suffered. Worried about a lady named Alecia Husband, who worked in the traveler's canteen, dockside in Charlotte Amalie. She literally saved my life when I was overcome with heat and exhaustion. Made me sit next to her for 90 minutes, refreshing me with her wonderful conversation, cold water and coke. I was able to resume my excursion to Mountain Top after that. Praying she is well. God bless all of you and I pray you will be spared another storm. Daryle Harris, Gainesville, GA
please pray for our loves one real ghettos mon i lived in blg 20 apt 153 up the side love hope all is well i know virgin island people are strong will make it. i being thru hurricane marilyn in 95 i can only imaging.. seeing this hurts my belly but i saw my old job pueblo made smile. i use to bag groceries big u my boy yahsam from housing one love jah bless
Isaiah Morrison not sure, coki is my favorite beach, I haven't been over there. A previous storm the waters rose up to the little bar/restaurants, like catch of the day and Jah Shaes, so this one probably the same or worse , right now its easier to come in through stx and then ferry over to stt.
It is still hard to get in touch with people in St Thomas. The entire island suffered some heavy damage. The storm came from the BVI and through the East End.
hi richard i have been to st thomas many times and spent lots of time upstate new york i never thought they looked similar at all richard in the tropics
Richard Rabinowitz I am from St.Thomas and I have to to stay with my uncle and aunt because my house got destroyed. Also my school has a lot of mold so I had to move to a different school and I am separated from my mom , dad , sister ,and my brother and the other part from my family
Thanks for the great video. Do you happen to have any info on the Hotel 1829? I worked there for 8 years (in the 90's) and dearly love that place. We survived hurricane Marilyn with only the top floors being destroyed. She's a tough old building. Fingers crossed.
@@heatherfulmore3412 I went through hurricane Marilyn in 1996. We lost our condo at Mountain Top , the airport didn't open for 4 days, looting and shootings were OUT OF CONTROL and the island didn't have any electricity for almost 3 months. The things we go through to live in paradise lol
May God continue to strengthen everyone throughout this storm. I would like to know if anyone seen or hear from my uncle asonnyboy Boland and is wife please. This is his niece Marvlyn...Thanks
Hoping praying, and not knowing, if your old friends are even still alive. I wish the old dodge van could float down to St. Thomas to find them......from Michigan. God be with you all.
I'm appalled not only by the destruction Irma has wrought but also the ugly commercial architecture which has overtaken the island. Back in the day (1960's) it really was a paradise. Tourism destroyed the Islanders as more than the hurricanes.
The curfew time is ridiculous i think. Any humanitarian relief yet like the MSM says? Hardly look recognisable mison..smh My heart with u til I die USVI.
Where are the superheroes for the mothers and children? Where's the cruise ships pulling up to offer to offer shelter food medical aid? FEMA remember New Orleans?!
Lived there for more than 30 years. Beautiful until it isn't... Sacrifice for Paradise...🌴🥰
Pemandangan alam nya cukup bagus kak, mantap sekali 👍👍👍

Ahhhhhhhh right!!!! I totally didn't think of that! U must conserve fuel and energy out there. My heart is with all of you!

Savvy Maharaj there are a few cruise ships and private boats that are taking people to Puerto Rico.

Hurricane Irma in the British Virgin Islands.
It's weird when St. Thomas reminds you of the hills of upstate NY in the wintertime. Also, St. Thomas has a skyride??
It's unusual to see all those trees naked in the Caribbean, that's all.
Richard Rabinowitz it feels like we got bombed literally
hi richard i have been to st thomas many times and spent lots of time upstate new york i never thought they looked similar at all richard in the tropics
Richard Rabinowitz yes skyride with bar n restaurant.

My mother was without help for a few days. Her roof was gone.

There's another hurricane coming in Maria category 1 right now good luck to all the islands in the Caribbean
Some parts of Savan o.k. Tutu got hit hard. It hurt to see my childhood playground, McBean Park (Tutu) mash up like that.
May God continue to strengthen everyone throughout this storm. I would like to know if anyone seen or hear from my uncle asonnyboy Boland and is wife please. This is his niece Marvlyn...Thanks
It looks like ugly winter in New England. Did Irma strip all the leaves off the trees?
Beatrix Phocas my first comment when stepping outside the next morning was - it looks like a Tim Burton set... Sigh...
Sadly.

Looking for my friend Jenn Kahalau and her little 4yr old son
Most of the people who own those homes , probably don't live there.

Looks like BVI not St Thomas
Frank Herrnkind definitely STT 😉🎩⭐️👍
I dont remember driving on the wrong side of the road. They are driving British.
No. It's St. Thomas. Trust me.
It’s St Thomas
Not as bad as Hugo but not good. Here comes another Cane. I would leave now. I lived there it can and will get worse.
The curfew time is ridiculous i think. Any humanitarian relief yet like the MSM says? Hardly look recognisable mison..smh My heart with u til I die USVI.
The real estate prices on St Thomas just got reasonable.
Thank you so much Mark for publishing this. Any news of Cowpet Bay? Aloha from Hawaii
Not a single wildlife spotted on the video😔
Luis Alvarado wtf u think it's Africa! It aint no damn safari. Do you see wildlife when you drive down the street everyday?!
Where are the superheroes for the mothers and children? Where's the cruise ships pulling up to offer to offer shelter food medical aid? FEMA remember New Orleans?!
Get ready, round two is almost there, and this one will be worse.
If i cud get a family here
WOW!
Very little structural damage seen on this route. That's encouraging.
Spooky when the whole island is BROWN. Not a green leaf to be found. Leave if u can.
VegeTation gone.
