All the times we took the kids there, it was great and so sad to see it like this, and the Magnum in Irvine gone too.
Why are all good things in Scotland defunct?
The SNP, that's why.
@@andy3127 Nah
@@ShenDoodles well the decline in Scotland in the last 12 years would suggest otherwise
well if the owners live close by. its abandoned why isn't anyone doing something about this I mean what a waste I went there three times as a Kid and loved it
if you look at the planning applications for here, even going back to when cadona owned the park, you will see many refusals
much of the blame should be put on to east ayrshire council, for not allowing progress
The lack of money let’s us all down my kids and I loved it there
I went there in nursery it was the best times of my life
I USED TO GO THERE !!!!!
Why do they no reopen it was a good place
I miss the old schwarzkopfs at the park!!! And the loudon rat! It was mental!! I also miss 4 man bob that used to be at Alton towers!!!! R.I.P
Scotland's best amusement park now is literally rusting away.
Louden Castle was the stronghold of the Hastings,,not the Campbells
I remember going their as a kid and I still got a beanie baby with Loudon castle logo on it
I worked there for a season it was fun loved my time there
I’ve Never been but I wish I could go if it was still open
I miss it
Music drowns out what is being said. Went there a couple of times as a kid. Wasn't the best theme park and when I went didn't have many rides to choose from. The main ones were the log ride, the Wallace sword (aka the braveheart) and the roller coaster. But you generally didn't have to queue to get on the rides, or at least the times I went. I stayed on the braveheart for 5 times in a row.
What a waste. It's surprising the rides and attractions were not sold-off to recoup obvious financial losses. Not something you expect to see in Scotland.
Well this series didn’t go through
Not much in Scotland these days for families etc, a piss poor depressing place at times.
I went there twice I wish i could visit the place back to its original beauty so i could take in more
Its not abandoned sombody owns the land
