New Tractor Tool Box Mounts & Boxes For Ventrac 4520

- While you have lots of options for aftermarket tractor tool boxes, Ventrac came out with a few new ones for the 4520 compact tractor that you may be interested in.
Most 4000 series tractors from Ventrac had some storage in one of the side consoles, but the 4520 eliminated this feature due to repositioning the control cluster from the dash to the side panel. Ventrac has now released items 70.4184 (Kit, Toolbox Mount Small) and 70.4185 (Kit, Toolbox Mount Large) and in this video we take a look at them.
As a reminder, branded ammo cans are not yet available due to supply chain issues, but the brackets/mounts should be available for order now at your dealers.

The Artillian ROPS system works great!
That looks interesting. The rear box would seem to be in the way of a 3pt.. I went with an Artillian ROPS set up. Using their basket and chainsaw holder. Fits just right and doesn’t interfere with 3pt., plus it holds rakes, brooms etc.
i would swing the small one around 180 degrees to come out the back then drill holes through the side or bottom and bolt it in because with a bungee cord if you want in it while on it its going to be a pain getting in and out everytime
That was my thought too.
Drilling would work as long as you never needed to take the box off. Swinging 180 should work except you lose access to the tray in the seat (but I haven't used the tray for anything yet, so no big deal)

Nice! I have been working on building something along this exact thought process for my Ventrac. My idea so far is 2x 50cal cans from HF and some angle straps from your local box store. Still a work in progress but I am getting there. This idea is much cleaner and I can tell already will look nicer than what I am doing :)

I have the big box mounted behind the side controls. Keeps my cup protected and doesn't stick out past the duels. I do have mine bolted in vs the bungee strap. Works great.
Of the two you showed, I'd be more inclined to get the large one on the back. Either that or fabricate my own like others are attempting. Maybe something centered between the rops behind the seat? I figure if I'm getting in the storage box, I likely have a problem and would be off the driver seat anyway? Good instructional video, I enjoy your channel. First time Ventrac owner, picking it up at the dealership in two weeks. Pumped!

What's the ROPS tubing size, Brad? That's a good looking mount that might work on my Kubota tractor. I had a BXpanded mount that failed because the metal was too thin. I like the way that one mounts.

The "glove box" was cavernous in the 4200, then got smaller, a LOT smaller in the 4500 and then non existent on the 4520. The storage boxes are a nice idea from Ventrac. Just be careful, the more weight you add to those, the higher the center of gravity becomes, i.e. it will affect the slope rating. Keep them as low on the ROPS as possible

Can it be mounted so that its pointing the back or hanging over to back of the Ventrac. So that it wont block the buttons or the drink holder?
I don't see why not, except that might make the tray inaccessible while using the machine.
I really like that machine but I like to use John Deere
