You might check the can to seevif other ingredients are in it. Also the stem inside that hose setup, the quick connect end, is plastic and you have to make sure it is centered. It will bend easily and not clip on or damage the schrader stem in the ac line. On a side note yesterday i was looking to purchase a can of aR134a with stop leak. Saw a can of EZ Chill for $10.50 at Walmart. Pick up at my local Walmart. I get there and find it but its $18.88. Whoa! Upon closer examination the can i saw online for 10.50 is 11 ozs and out of stock at all Walmarts in my region. The actual can in the store for $18.88 is 12 ozs. Wow that extra oz must be magicaly enpowered. What a difference. Not even a empty spot for it. Which i know from my former retail experience is a trick where the staff removes the shelf label so it does show up on thier report and is valuable shelf space unused. Therefore never gets ordered and restocked. Customer has to buy the more expensive can with a bigger profit margin. Whoops sorry about the ramblin on. Lol
I've only had success with Supertech 134a, and saved money by not getting other more expensive cans unnecessarily. My local wm automotive department carries the sizes I showed, so that hasn't been an issue either.
Thanks for this video. I'm constantly using these to have AC in my 16 year old car. The stop leak doesn't help my car, though. There's a bad leak seeping out of the compressor, and I just can't afford to buy a new $300 compressor to fix the issue. Fml. It's 97° in Georgia. Nothing like having warm air blowing on you during the middle of the day. I have 3 cans of this shit on hand at all times... 😔 Buying a new car just isn't an option right now, unfortunately.
That regular can of Super tech 134a sealed my leak too. My AC has not leaked out since, and it has been over a month. As far as pag oil goes, I saw another super tech a/c can that includes the ac system oil too. So they make a super tech can with the pag oil already in it.
Right now, SubZero R134a is 46 dollars for the 18 oz w gauge., Supertech is 33 dollars for the 18oz w guage, and two 12oz cans of supertech 134-a are 10 dollars ea which is for a total of 24oz.

50% more in the larger can, in fact. I always buy the small cans and if more is needed I'll get another.

I'm sorry to hear about your compressor. The old cars have a way of lasting.
The only difference is the cheap stuff doesn't contain the pag oil and leak sealer like the expensive product has.

The super tech 18 Oz can does.

You can search on walmart com for the "EZ Chill A/C Recharge Reusable R-134a Gauge and Hose".
My compressor is a little noisy
Your ac compressor may be going out, or you may need pag oil, which can be added the same way as 134-a.
