Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner at O'Reilly Auto Parts vs Autozone vs Walmart
If your car is running rough, especially in idle, and you've ruled out a fuel pressure problem and your timing chain, and your throttle body, it could be a sensor like the one that measures mass air flow on your intake hose. The most popular one that tends to work is CRC's Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner. But where you get it can really make a difference as you'll see. Check carefully with O'Reilly auto parts, Autozone, and Walmart Automotive when looking for needed automotive parts and cleaners. It can help you save.

    I'm aware you no longer make gimp tutorials, but do you know how to divide a selection in to even parts? I want to make an organizational wallpaper for my pc and I want 4 even sections. Do you know how to do that?

    • @timbosinfo
      @timbosinfo 15 днів тому

      I wouldn't be surprised if I make some more tutorials on that. I remember talking about guides in some of my tutorials. For example, you can drag the horizontal guide to the center of your template (or anywhere else), and do the same for the vertical guide. I would usually keep each graphic on a separate layer. So for what you're doing, you can use guides where you want the sections divided to help, but I'd go further and keep the graphics on their own individual layers. I also have a video on layers for more info.

    I need to move pasted picture on my proj, I've spent 1hr so far and still no result. They should write big warning sign on download button: "this app is for nerds and shouldn't be used by normal people". Its non-intuitive. I've used ps on pc, used procreate on ipad, everywhere this simplest task is done in no time without reading manuls. Gimp shouldn't be used by normal people. UPDATE: alternative as text editor: "vim". Lots of fans, but if you are normal person, just try to edit text in vim and then save and exit. Don't read mans ;) "Write text and save" its golden path, something which everyone will try to do - it should be intuitive. Lets go and try vim ;)

    You might check the can to seevif other ingredients are in it. Also the stem inside that hose setup, the quick connect end, is plastic and you have to make sure it is centered. It will bend easily and not clip on or damage the schrader stem in the ac line. On a side note yesterday i was looking to purchase a can of aR134a with stop leak. Saw a can of EZ Chill for $10.50 at Walmart. Pick up at my local Walmart. I get there and find it but its $18.88. Whoa! Upon closer examination the can i saw online for 10.50 is 11 ozs and out of stock at all Walmarts in my region. The actual can in the store for $18.88 is 12 ozs. Wow that extra oz must be magicaly enpowered. What a difference. Not even a empty spot for it. Which i know from my former retail experience is a trick where the staff removes the shelf label so it does show up on thier report and is valuable shelf space unused. Therefore never gets ordered and restocked. Customer has to buy the more expensive can with a bigger profit margin. Whoops sorry about the ramblin on. Lol

    • @timbosinfo
      @timbosinfo Місяць тому

      I've only had success with Supertech 134a, and saved money by not getting other more expensive cans unnecessarily. My local wm automotive department carries the sizes I showed, so that hasn't been an issue either.

    Fortunately, it was reported no fatalities. However, one off-duty officer was transported to the Med Center with serious injuries. I believe there were additional injured parties since multiple vehicles were involved. There was a story on the 9 PM Fox 26 newscast.

    • @timbosinfo
      @timbosinfo Місяць тому

      Yes it was a miracle no fatalities. Traffic was moving around 70mph and the bikers were going much faster than that late splitting, and ran several cars off the road too who were trying to avoid running them over.... KHOU: "The deputy swerved to avoid crashing and was struck by a Suzuki GSX-R, which was being driven by a 23-year-old man at a high rate of speed. After impact, a Crown Victoria went over a concrete barrier wall where it flipped and landed on its roof. The Suzuki was also redirected into the northbound main lanes of the Hardy Toll Road where the motorcycle was struck by a Kia Rio being driven by a 28-year-old woman. The deputy was transported to a hospital with a possible concussion, according to the sheriff's office."

    • @timbosinfo
      @timbosinfo 2 місяці тому

      You need to be aware how much it should contain so you don't add too much and over pressurize. It could cause a gasket to blow or worse. Don't remove open any caps or anything else that is pressurized unless you know the proper way to do so safely. Some people also don't know.... Do not open your radiator cap unless your car is completely cold like first thing in the morning before you drive. Hot coolant can shoot out at you causing serious injury. If you aren't sure the proper way, ask a mechanic.

      I have a video called how to use the move tool and another on how to zoom in and out with the magnifying glass, which explains the way to move things around accurately and position them. If you want to more easily snap objects exactly where you want them, start with learning the magnifying glass, the move tool, and placing 'guides' on all four sides of your template (the working space with the grey checkerboard pattern in background).

    How to make a sprite of different size images

    • @timbosinfo
      @timbosinfo 8 місяців тому

      I recommend having most sprites be the same size, or maybe up to 2 or 3 different sizes if really needed... But if you have multiple sized sprites, you'll want different sprite sheets for each size. Each sprite sheet should contain only one size of sprites in a grid, so they can be rotated through and make a smooth animation. - When you want to create a new image, open Gimp and click file > new. Then choose the width and height you want. Remember to expand 'Advanced Options' and change the 'Fill With' to 'Transparency' if you'd like the normal transparent background of sprites. Then click 'Okay'.

    • @timbosinfo

      As a general rule I would work on different layers as much as possible for anything important. Make sure you're on the correct layer and that the layer you're working on isn't hidden underneath another layer and you might not realize it. In other words, you might not have active focus on what you think. Any selection you have made including a text selection, you can apply an affect to. If this doesn't answer your question, let me know what steps you are taking from the beginning of the process.

      Make sure you're clicked on the correct layer in the layer tab when you are creating your selection. Once you create the selection, you can cut it out by pressing Ctrl + x, then paste it back with Ctrl + v. At this point, you will see it on a 'floating layer' in the layers tab. Then go to 'Layer' --> 'To New Layer' or use Shift + Ctrl + n. Now your newly cut out selection is on its own independent layer. Select the move tool and you can move it where you like.

      The way I do that is to use either the horizontal guide or the vertical guide. The way to do that is (1) click on the ruler on the left of your template or the one above your template. (2) after clicking, hold and drag it to the position on your template you want. (3) click on the layer you want to move and move it to your guide. When you get close, the layer will snap to your guide wherever you previously placed it on your template.

      You can move only on x or y if you use your keyboard. 1. Select the Move tool 2. Click on the canvas (to be sure it has focus) 3. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the layer (the arrow keys alone move the layer in small increments, for larger increments use the SHIFT key + arrow key combination) Things to note: The Move tool has 3 object options (Layer, Selection, Path) and a toggle (Pick a layer or guide, Move the active layer - toggle with the Shift key), so if it doesn't work as expected check your options
