I have stage 4 cancer and I sit here day and Day Out. Waiting for god to tell me it's time. But then I found you young man. You made me get up out of my chair. I can't breathe right now, but I'm dancing.
I can't stop. I'm gonna look through your other videos to see if you got anythin. G like this, you need to give us none of that stuff. From today let's go on back to the 60s and 70s... I'm going to get some BG videos. And i'm gonna continue to dance until I collapse love you and what you do❤
God bless you Marie! 🤗🙏🥰🕺💖
Keep dancing, Marie!! Music is life, sing and dance on and God Bless you!!🥰
Pull some up for yourself and you DANCE. Don't sit and wait...put some joy in it. Prayers.
God bless you.
I have had cancer 4 times and I'm still alive so don't give up, please. I've just had a leg amputated last January and I told my nurse once, "I just realized that I'll never dance again" but of course, like you, I hear these old songs and it makes me boogie in my chair. The best music ever, from the 60s and up. Please don't give up. Sending you much love and hugs. Keep on dancing. I'm 66 years old by the way.
This young man is just adorable, open-minded, and curious. Seeing him hear 70s music like The Bee Gees for the first time
Is so refreshing. Makes me remember why we liked it so much. Cheers.
me too
IKR! I am a child of the 70's and I am just loving him! I raised my son on this music and these movies and he loved it and still does...he has always had an intense love and appreciation for all music genres but mostly for how music can be a great healer!
He is, I'm a 64 year old Australian lady an I think he adorable. He gives me hope for generation z.
He's a Romantic and gorgeous with it. So good to know such beautiful young men😮 still exist. Go discover and grow with it man. Watch the opening scene from Saterday Night Fever - that is probably how the music is making you feel too.
Yes!!
The Bee Gees!! When Music Was Music!! No Auto Tune.. No Four Letter Words... No Mention Of Hate.. I was so lucky to have grown up with this music!!
Me too! No hate or demeaning words; women were not called bad words, nobody sang they had to be killed or slapped and pimps were not an subject of admiration.
No four letter words in the music, but they were known for f bombs in their daily conversations.
The days of good music ,🙂
Amen!
Barry Gibb
I'm a grandmother in Alberta Canada and this young man gives me hope for the furure. Smart, well-spoken, and aa nice guy. Kudos to the family who raised him.
It's fun to watch him discover why we loved this era.
He's so lovely isn't he? 💙
I agree. I find him so unbelievably entertaining and his views on things blow me away. Very expressive and respectful. ❤
100% Agree!!!
The Bee Gees got thrown under the bus when the Disco backlash hit. it's unfortunate. they had 20 years of music history before they were contracted to make the soundtrack to the Staying Alive Movie. The album was such a smash success that they suddenly became the face of Disco (granted the album was one of the highest selling albums of all time), without ever being a Disco band. Without a doubt, these Australian brothers were on the same level as the Beatles and Rolling Stones.
'Saturday Night Fever' movie.
"Staying Alive" is generally considered one of the worst movies made.
How the hell are they Australian ?…lived in Australia for 8 years before returning to the UK 🇬🇧 in their late teens… never had Australian citizenship,Australian accents or international success and fame whilst living in Australia.
The Beatles couldn't even come close to their vocals! They were more versatile than the Beatles, they could sing & play Rock, R&B, Folk, Country, and gospel.
@@spudjohnsonn8122 - And check out ‘Cucumber Castle’ for some REALLY weird, wild stuff!
Stayin' Alive has been adopted by Ameican Heart Association because it is timed perfectly for CPR compressions.
I love that episode from the office and the CPR class
Correct, 😊😊
Here in New Zealand we also learn CPR to this song. 😊
Absolutely adopted for CPR worldwide! ❤
Just a side note… Another One Bites the Dust , is also perfect beat for CPR
I'm 55 yrs old and remember seeing Barry Gibbs and the Bee Gees in the 70s on TV and I thought Barry Gibbs was the most handsome man on the planet 😂😂😂
Me too. I’m the same age as you. I was in love with their brother Andy Gibb. I was so sad when he passed away so young.
I'm 55 and I was in love with him back then😂
I'm 55 too and have also been in love with Barry since childhood lol!
I loved Andy
Barry was my 10yo crush. 😂
This was played at every roller skating rink USA
I' mis when rollor rinks were popular also
Yes, I remember skating to this every Saturday afternoon.
I miss those days.. I wonder if i could still skate
I skated to the record in my basement in 1979. I was 6
Roller rinks in my tween and teen years skating slow to the BeeGees with your partner... it was heaven. If your generation would get off your phones and get to a skating rink you would understand the world pre cell phone...
This is THE strutting song.. no wonder you feel like dressing up and hitting an NYC sidewalk 😊
Its my ' before a meeting' soundtrack 😂😅❤😊
How they're super still and just casually walking in this video is beyond me. How are they just strolling and not dancing down the street here! 😂
@@bethkinsey7330 if they’re actually singing, might be hard
It was a great song to either roller skating or ice skating! My friends and I did both!
Barry Gibb was major eye candy, lol. Guys, nowadays, wish they could have been him 😂❤❤ Thank you for reacting to BeeGees
If ONLY the guys these days had that much style!
He had swoon worthy hair! ❤
I remember my mom and my aunt talking how handsome Barry was, at that moment I didn't get it, I was 7 yo, now I totally get it.😍😅
Still is to me.
I'm a 69 year old guy in Kentucky and I really enjoyed this video of yours. You are very charming and have a fresh perspective on music. When you get old like I am you don't hear from many young people so I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the Bee Gees... a group I listened to non-stop back in my 20s. Thank you for keeping it positive and fun! You give me hope for the future.
63 here and heck yeah on the Bee Gees aka the Brothers Gibbs on repeat. I had the BIGGEST crush on Barry. :D
John Travolta, the star of the movie, Saturday Night Fever, called walking down the streets of New York to this song, "strutting."
Strutting = watch Freddy Mercury on scene!
And till this day it takes every fibre of my being not to strutt when this song comes on! 😂
Definitely "stuff strutting" music.
Music to strut stuff to.
I will never look at a white suit again without hearing this song.😅
His falsetto voice is one of the best ever. The all had it, but Barry is the best. The talent was in their blood. Yes brothers❤
This were singers that never had a bad piece of music, how rare they are!
You need to check out You Should Be Dancing . The BeeGees were the best. No auto tune back then. This is pure talent.
You Should Be Dancing is my favorite!
Watch the version with their little brother Andy joining them. That's my favorite
ua-cam.com/users/shorts_9Fw57RQ16k?si=i8o7HsXXvIEKBY8r
All of the Beegees were overloaded with just plain sexiness with that hair blowing in the wind and tight pants, Lord those were the days.
That's a Great song.Walking down the street, on a sunny day..! ❣️who knew singing Staying Alive & deep breathing would be a hit. Hah hah hah, staying alive!😊
I love that you love this! Thank you!
2024 the year of no style any style.😢😢😊
Amen
When someone's heart stops and you're doing chest compressions you do it to the beat of this song. Ironic since you're helping the person stay alive.
Apt rather than ironic ;)
They are walking in New York in 1977. This was part of the Disco era. The BeeGees were brothers and Barry Gibb is the oldest, unfortunately all the younger brothers have all passed. They also sang too much heaven the same year genres soul/r&b. They also sang soft rock.
Yep, been there done that! Cheers!
Amazing
Three brothers who could harmonize like nobody else great great band. Barry in the middle is still alive. Check out Tragedy and Fannie Be Tender With My Love
Tragedy is one of my favorites....of course, there's not a bad song
Spirits Having Flown is my absolute favorite!
Fannie Be Tender is beyond beautiful!❤
That's the age of disco
They wrote songs for a lot of people. They even wrote the theme song to the movie Grease.
Barry wrote the theme song for Grease....in one afternoon while watching 2 small children!
Barry Gibb wrote islands in the stream a hit by Dolly Pardon and Kenny Rogers.
@@roseleenehrsam4059 - Barry and Robin and Maurice wrote "Islands in the Stream".
The Bee Gees are one of the most financially successful bands of all time. Not just their songs but they were writers and producers for a wide variety of groups.
I'm not ashamed to say we loved disco and we loved this song...But i loved all the BeeGees songs. I heard I Started A Joke when I was in Grade 9 and instantly fell in love with it and the band.
Barry was finally inducted into the songwriters Hall of Fame after being ignored for decades and just last fall received a Kennedy Center honor. He’s the last BG, the rest have passed. He’s been heavily married to his wife for over 40 years I believe and they had several children and now have grandchildren. You might know some of the other songs he wrote for other artists, like Islands in the Stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. He did duets with top singers like Barbra Streisand.
Every time I hear this I can automatically see John Travolta dancing to it. It does stand the test of time. I'm 61 now and still love the Bee Gees
I love that you love this. Their voices and that bassline are fire. If this song doesn't make you want to move, you must be dead lol
I love that bass line Maurice rips on "Jive Talkin'". 🎶🎸
My foot and fingers are tapping in time to the music. This is a great piece of music, and the BeeGees were so fun to listen to.
So true. I'm 76 and had to jump up to see if I could remember my old disco moves. Took a few tries but I got most of it. 😅
You just hit the jackpot reacting too these guys because your tapping into a whole new era of subscribers. I danced my way through these guys music, I was born in '63 and they were so phenomenal. Good times.*sigh*
The Bee Gees…one of the biggest worldwide artists ever! ❤ Sadly Maurice and Robin have passed now and only Barry is still here but they deserve every accolade out there for their contribution to worldwide music. ❤ They deserve their induction to the Kennedy Awards… so sad that Barry is the only one here now to see their accomplishments come to fruition. 😢Their younger brother Andy was also a star.
Barry Gibb was simply the MAN back in the day, very sexy man. His duets with Barbara Streisand are classic.
I grew up with the Bee Gees and they were huge!! They are so talented, you will go down the rabbit hole! Best group ever!!❤
i saw a young man probably in his 30's. Tall black man with a casual suit, kaki pants, suede sport coat and dark brown Oxfords walk into the hotel lobby and every woman in the place turned their heads, Old my age ( 70's ) to young girls in their teens. I haven't seen girls eyes light up like that since the 80's when Men Looked sharp and smart. Sexy with class.. If you want to move up, stand out and don't dress down..
This song was part of the soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever which you should watch. They are brothers. Barry is the oldest. Robin and Maurice are twins. They had another brother Andy who was a great performer too. He was getting ready to join The Bee Gees when he died from an overdose. robin and Maurice have passed to, leaving Barry as the last one.
Their sister is alive also
how deep is your love is one of my favorite Bee gees songs.
Also mine
Yessss the absolute Best!!!!
Their early stuff and their songs after the disco era are also amazing. One of my all time favourite bands. All three had such different voices but they blended so well.
You're among the FEW humans on Earth who hasn't heard this song.
He's was pretending it was his first time .
@@JimKerr-xl2jtyeah there’s no way you can’t hear this. It’s everywhere
Six decades of music. Writing for themselves and a wealth of famous artists; Barbara Streisand amongst them.
And Celine Dion
The subject matter of 'Stayin' Alive' is about survival in the streets of New York inspired by the Nic Cohn paperback Tribal Rites of the Saturday Night, who was the plot for the classic Saturday Night Fever Movie, far away from funny. 😆Since 1977 it is now the fifth biggest single of all time with 33 million EAN units sold.
It is claimed from in a survey of all radiostations around the globe as most airplayed song of all time in 2017- every 20 seconds - this plays everywhere around the world and for sure it is the most iconic song of the 70´s decade. 🍾It’s a part of our shared cultural heritage now - one of those pop miracles that just never gets old, never wears off, never loses its charge. It remains alive. And indeed one of the most covered pop songs in history.🎖
I'm 74 and love to watch your reactions to great music! Watch the docs on the Bee Gees, performing together since they were little kids. They wrote all the music for Saturday Night Fever. I love that you are exposing your generation to such great music.
I’m 76 and still listen to The Bee Gees. Love them still
Stayin" Alive is one of Two Songs used by the American Red cross to use in CPR. The beat to the song matches the compression rate in CPR. The other song is by Queen called Another One Bites The dust. They prefer Stayin' Alive as that is more optimistic.
More optimistic. lol Thanks for the laugh
Now they’ve chosen 40 Taylor Swift songs also. Some younger people are too young for BeeGees. 😂😂
Was thinking exactly the same 😂
@@Ladybug211211 They're saving lives; I don't really care what song they use. :)
I love watching this young man enjoying the Bee Gees and saying their music makes him want to do laundry and run errands joyously. That's a brilliant, cogent observation, spontaneously spoken from his heart, and it makes me smile.
❤
You should watch the movie "Saturday night fever"with John Travolta. It was from 1978, the Bee Gees wrote the sound track. It's about the disco era in New York. Great
music. THE CLOTHES, HAIR, DANCIN' REALLY SHOW HOW IT WAS. ❤😂💃
Yes! When he described, "walking down the street, 3 piece suit, gold watch", literally described John Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever"! GOTTA watch it!!!!! 🤯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I remember dancing to this song in the club in the 70s.
@@sherriemihelitch9669 Great movie. The Bee Gees knocked it out of the park with their music and My God, Travolta was totally on point with his dancing.🕺💃🎶
From a 70 yr. Old Gramma with a huge smile on my face, it’s so enjoyable to hear a genz saying they really enjoy this music. Every generation has some really awesome singers and memorable songs.
This was probably one of the first 100 music videos ever made. The sound and video had to be recorded separately and put together in post production. Pre-MTV for sure.
And don't forget their baby brother, Andy Gibb! Died waaaaay to young!
This came out in 1977. There weren’t many music ‘videos’ back then so this was a huge treat. We had to watch musicians on tv shows when they first aired or you were out of luck.
The "go & walk down the street" vibe IS it. Look at the movie - " Saturday Night Fever". That hit the nail on the head.
Bee Gees, awsome.. There came a time in their life to make a choice to be famous criminals or famous Singers, they made the right choice 😊❤
lol so true
The Gibb Brothers are legendary!!
I’m lovin’ your reactions to The Bee Gees❣️❣️They were brilliant beyond measure! And I love that you can recognize their amazing harmonies❣️❣️ Another group, vocally, that you might find fascinating as well is “Crosby Stills & Nash”…once you come down from your Bee Gees high, give CS&N a listen. Vocals are killer, late 60’s early 70’s era & all original songs too! Again, thank you for sharing your reactions to this great music, I’m lovin’ it❣️❣️❣️
Nobody alive now has this talent
They had a brother named Andy Gibb who was a singer too but he passed away. He was good too. Solo.
I love you! This was MY generation. No auto tune back then just raw talent. We are talking a teenager in the 80's here swooning over these guys. Today, 40 years later I appreciate them and their talent all the more. You're affirming reaction and comparison to the junk today is so refreshing, because you are spot on and not afraid to admit it. YOU are adorable. Enjoy the heck out of you too. Subscribed.
So funny, when you said, the song makes you change something. Robin : "The subject matter of 'Stayin' Alive' is actually quite a serious one; It's about survival in the streets of New York, and the lyrics actually say that". Barry Gibb also recalls, "People crying out for help. Desperate songs. Those are the ones that become giants. The minute you capture that on record, it's gold. 'Stayin' Alive' is the epitome of that. Everybody struggles against the world, fighting all the bullshit and things that can drag you down. And it really is a victory just to survive. But when you climb back on top and win bigger than ever before, well that's something everybody reacts to everybody".
MY MAN. I’m 67this yr…THE 70s were are and always will be THE BEST MUSIC EVER!!! Yes us Baby Boomers know our music. There was another brother who died Andy Gibbs. Very much missed!
I am 64 and this is the music when I was a young adult. The Bee Gees came out in the 60’s, but reinvented themselves in the 70’s with disco. And that is what this is….disco music, from the days of going out dancing and Saturday Night Fever. Yes, they were brothers, and grew up singing on shows like Andy Williams and Ed Sullivan. They were fantastic. I am a die hard Pink Floyd Fan, Led Zepplin, and I love The Bee Gees, any era. Try their earlier music, like “ InStarted a Joke”
Memories of disco dancing……someone could make money opening a new dance club that plays these old songs. We need some positivity
All
70 ‘s music is great .Queen,Elo,Eagles and yes Abba ..I’m 73 and I remember dancing in a disco to stayin alive ..lol
Barry in black shirt, oldest. Robin in red shirt and Maurice (pronounced Morris) in the more white shirt are twins. Barry is now 77 and the only brother still with us. There is an older sister who is not involved in the music industry. There was a younger brother Andy who had his own career. Andy died in 1988, Maurice in 2003 and Robin in 2012. This video is from 1977. It is a song from the "Saturday Night Fever" movie. Their music dates back to the '60s and continued until 2003 when Maurice died. Barry still records and does some concerts. Sir Barry was knighted by then Prince Charles a few years ago, and just recently became a Kennedy Center Honoree.
They have completely different musical styles but together they sound like one voice, they could all do the falsetto although Barry did it most of the time. Try listening to songs with the different brothers singing lead .. Just a fun fact... Barry and his wife have been married 53 years.
In addition to their vocal talents, Barry and The Brothers Gibb wrote or co-wrote more than 1,000 songs, many of which were enormous hits for other artists.
The BeeGees were: the tallest and oldest brother (with the big hair and beard), Barry Gibb, born September 1, 1946, the only surviving Gibb brother. Robin Gibb (with the long hair, no beard), born December 22, 1949-passed away May 20, 2012, and Robin's fraternal twin brother Maurice (the balding brother with the beard, pronounced "Morris") Gibb, born December 22, 1949-passed away January 12, 2003. They also had another, younger, brother Andy Gibb, born March 5, 1958-passed away March 10, 1988.
The three oldest brothers were born on the Isle of Man (UK). Oldest brother Barry got seriously burned when he accidentally pulled boiling tea over himself at 18 months old. He was in coma for a while, nearly died and was in hospital for many months. Because of this, he did not learn to talk until after the twins were born. Later the family moved to Manchester and from there they emigrated to Australia in 1958, right after Andy was born.
All 4 brothers are just natural musical talents. All of them dropped out of high school in their early teens and none of them could read or write music. All their compositions were created completely organically.
Their musical career, which they had started as little kids, didn't lead to international success so they moved back to the UK in 1967. Then they had a string of big hits, until they temporarily broke up around 1970 for 15 months. Started back up, looking for a new sound which they first found in 1974 with the transitional album "Mr. Natural". After that "Main Course" was the first album that moved them into a new direction: more rhythm&blues, dance music like with great hits like Nights on Broadway and Jive Talkin' (and was also actually the first album on which their logo was introduced).
From 1976 on they went all out with falsetto driven dance music which lead to their biggest commercial success as they provided classic songs for the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack (1977 Stayin' Alive, How Deep is Your Love, Night Fever amongst them). You should react to the 1979 live version of Stayin' Alive, too ua-cam.com/video/7niXSh7vWRI/v-deo.html Other great songs to analyze: great album tracks from the 1979 Spirits Having Flown album, the title song: ua-cam.com/video/WH_j90fCIk4/v-deo.html, the outrageously beautiful song Reaching Out ua-cam.com/video/vfHUS5Mf00Q/v-deo.html. From their Still Waters album, Smoke and MIrrors: ua-cam.com/video/MT9vRHSWNbk/v-deo.html. From the 1960's I've gotta get a message to you ua-cam.com/video/CA4CInDnTk8/v-deo.html. And from the 1990's the simple song Blue Island live in an accoustic version: ua-cam.com/video/162GlAEpfrY/v-deo.html.
Andy was kind of Barry's mini me, about half a foot shorter and 12 years younger but they were the only lefties of the family. However, his voice was nowhere near as broad in range or as strong as Barry's. As producer Alby Galuten said in the book "Tales of the brothers Gibb "Andy's falsetto was nowhere near Barry's." Andy had a lower, huskier, sound to his voice and his range was not as big as Barry's. I personally always thought his voice was much better suited to songs of his first album, Flowing Rivers. Andy died of myocarditis - which is an inflammation of the heart - on March 10, 1988, 5 days after his 30th birthday. His heart had been weakened by his drug addiction over the years which, by the way, was also the main reason for his split from Victoria Principal. He also had a congenital heart problem that was later also discovered in Barry and Barry's second son Ashley. Try listening to the song Dreamin' on ua-cam.com/video/-KdBVKcSSSw/v-deo.html which is kind of a duet with Barry. And here are the 4 brothers live on stage in 1979 doing You Should Be Dancing ua-cam.com/video/_6MR-E_Qzz0/v-deo.html And finally a few photos of Barry and Andy: i.postimg.cc/jS6n3Jkv/Barry-Andy.jpg and i.postimg.cc/TwnPh8M0/82c126fc42a35d3b737867af41338199.jpg and the 4 brothers with their mother i.postimg.cc/FRNMbwkD/b9b2561eadffee11347573c97063c2f8-zpsd89478eb.jpg
This is awesome. Thanks for sharing!
All of their songs are great, to hard to pick 5 😊
I saw them live back in 1979 when they had the disco floor stage. They were great live. I still have the concert program and concert ticket. They also had their brother Andy sing a few songs. Great night for sure.
They were the top of the Disco era. The sound track is in the movie Saturday Night Fever and stars John Travolta like you've never seen him!
The Bee Gees are so much more than disco. Please check out their catalog. You will be amazed.
My husband and I found that listening to '70s disco music was the best music for getting our house painted and set up for sale. It just makes the work go faster and happier.
I was a junior in High school in 1978! John Travolta was THE ONE Strutting to this BEAT to open Saturday Night Fever!! The genre was DISCO!
The Bee Gee have a 4th brother Andy Gibb who had a solo career. They are from Australia. This is from 1977. The best of this song is used when giving someone CPR. You press on the person’s chest to the beat of this song
They were born in England, they later moved to Australia.
Andy Gibb was awesome
@@stacie9229 He looked like Barry's" mini me". Barry and Andy looked more like twins than Robin and Maurice, the real twins. 😉
They were British. Over to Australia when they were about 8 to 10 years old. Moved back to England in their teens to make it big.
Bee Gees were British.
Some songs make you want to dance. This one makes you want to STRUT.
BeeGee's was The Brother's Gibbs. So talented. Their younger brother Andy was a teen heartthrob when I was a girl.
Bee Gees are such fire - the singing and production on this are incredible. The strings are gorgeous, Barry adding his highs, the harmonies of course and the inspirational messages. I suggest another great high energy song from them "You should be dancing" is probably my favorite song of theirs along with "Lonely days" from the older school.
BTW, "The BeeGees" stood for The Brothers Gibbs. Barry is the main singer & the only surviving brother. The youngest brother was Andy Gibbs bro #4 & he died 1st. The other 2 seen here, Maurice & Robin, were twins.
Bee Gees never got thrown under the bus. They were always famous and fabulous. All their songs were great. And don't make fun of disco. That was a fun period of time. Only reason you didn't like it was because you couldn't dance. I was a Disco Dancing Queen! 💃 ❤🎉
music that has heart and soul will outlast music that has none. The artists who have passion for their craft will have their music outlive them
You have to see the movie to appreciate how genius the song is in describing the feeling of being trapped/fighting back that Travolta’s character portrayed.
Wow! That is Robin Gibb, Barry Gibb and Maurice Gibb. There was also their younger brother Andy Gibb who died from drugs on March 10th, 1988, I remember when I heard on the news because I had my first child on March 2nd, 1988 and I was very shocked and saddened by the horrible news. I used to play his song, I just want to be your everything, on my record player when I was in the 7th grade all the time, he had a very beautiful voice. RIP Andy and to brothers Robin and Barry. 💔
Andy Gibb passed away on my Aunt’s 21st birthday.
It took me YEARS to appreciate the Bee Gees. I just didn't understand the beats that I was hearing, but you KNOW how influential their beats are because so many people sample their music across so many genres. Just look for "Bee Gees Mashups" and you will stuff with 50 Cent to AC/DC, Nelly to Deep Purple.
I’m 53 I grew up with all this kind of music. I had Bee Gees record and it kept skipping. My mom returned it so many times I almost felt sorry for the place. Thanks Mom I love the Bee Gees.
You explained and described it well
I loved cleaning my house to these guys all the time 😅❤
Barry, his name, was just in the 2023 Class of the Kennedy Center Honors. Check it out. Also a good Piers Morgan interview. And check out John Travolta strutting down a NYC street in the movie 😁
The Bee Gees are a CLASSIC!!! Adore!
From the present, I propose to get acquainted with the work of Dimash.
Dimash is awesome!
This is the CHOON I play when I want to feel UP!!!!! You CANNOT not bop to this!!! makes you smile every time. 💙💙💙
Interesting comment Barry said the song is about being kick around in life getting up and staying alive. He stated the beat goes along with our heartbeat. It's now used in CPR training to follow beat
The epitome of disco.
😎😎😎 *The Bee Gee's are what cool looked like, in the 70's & 80's* 😎😎😎
You'll never see anything like this today or hear anything this good!
Straight up John Travolta move dance scene! This is point finger to sky disco 🌼🌼gotta love it! 💐🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Actually when this came out sick meant you were not feeling well! Ha!Ha!Ha! Love this new generation!
These are your Foundation ! You are here because of their experimentation ! They tried and evolved ! So, now that you are here, what's your contribution ??? For evolution, of music or anything !!! What is your contribution ?? They tried and here you are !! Love from 🇮🇳💖
‘The Brothers Gibb’ Robin, Barry and Maurice. Born in Australia. Barry (lead singer) lives in Miami Florida.
Robin and Maurice have passed.
Slight correction - they were born in England but primarily grew up in Australia. Not certain about Andy. He might have been born in OZ
Check out Barry Gibb and Barbara Streisand duet ‘Guilty’ !!
If you haven't watched the movie yet, you should. You'll get 1000 percent understanding of what that song means - and every other song in the movie.
They were a heart throb of my generation!!! They made and wrote a lot of songs. 70's and 80's!!
Ah yes, ANYONE, born from the late 90's til now missed THE best music from the 60's, 70's & 80's. Must listen, will always 🎶 listen.
Fanny Be Tender is one you must watch and hear.
One of many. 😊 Alone, Bodyguard, Nights on Broadway, Jive Talking, To Love Somebody, too many to list.
1979 big hit. Saw them in concert at dodger stadium in LA. The place was packed.
During the disco craze in the late 70s, The Bee Gees were IT. The videos from that era were pretty lame because videos weren’t really a thing yet. Most of us didn’t have any way to see these videos - no MTV, no video players of any kind. All we had was the radio and the disco bars. So making music videos was a really new thing - no sophistication. But the music was so good, who needs a video?
What you don’t see now is true raw talent. Today it’s all voice over, auto tune, etc. photo filters, lip injections, fake boobs… these brothers are genuine artists💕
This is the music I grew up with. I hope you’ve seen the movie Saturday Night Fever, where all this great music comes together.
The Bee Gees meant The Brothers Gibb, lead singer was Barry Gibb. Their stuff was fun to dance to. You'll probably like songs from the other end of the disco music scale from bass-voiced singer & composer Barry White's music..."Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe" "My First My Last My Everything," "Let The Music Play," and a hundred others. Barry White said that lots of people the he had met 20 years into his career claimed that they were conceived while their folks were listening to his songs...give them a listen and you'll believe it. 😁
One the last true harmonizing groups to grace our lifetime.
Their stuff slaps !!!!
My mom loved this song! It’s pretty good.
