I'm 66, my son is 32. He raced motorcycles at 7 and quit at 15. He can build a house, he is a boom operator on a KC-135 refueling planes. He lives in the country and cooks meat on the grill and smoker. I raised him to be a man.

I was a crew chief on a B-52 . We had 135 Tankers across the flight line supporting us . SAC is what they called it way back then . I flew in a Kc135 and lay their next to the boom operator looking through that clear glass window . We flew over the Pacific Ocean on our way to Guam . The 135 was from Barksdale LA . And I was from Ellsworth AFB. SD. . Never forget those memories.

I'm so very thankful my parents were hard on me. I just turned 30. I like to brag on how I was raised. My parents was 911 , lawyer and the judge of our household. If I did call the authorities I knew I better make a quick escape because we lived 25 mins from town and I don't think I could handle a 25 min ass whoopin. The only safe space I had was a foot out of my parents reach. I'm thankful for all of it

This is true, but even the devil has said to some. It's only getting worst. Quote from a Allan Jackson Song. Makes me wonder if there's one Country in the world that has morals and respect, pride in work. Because it needs a blast from the past to get back on track the way it was. Funny thing is Not many see anything wrong. Maybe that's the real problem. When we wake up to the truth. It maybe something that could have been fixed and didnt fix it in time. So be it.

When I was in school almost all the boys were driving a pickup truck with a rifle rack, Mine had one, and lot of guys had a rifle and a rod and reel, Mine was an over under 22/410, and a Garcia reel, when anyone went to town , we didn't worry about leaving the front door unlocked, we trusted the neighbors! We didn't lock the car doors either. Not in this day and age, now we have to hide or nail down things we don't want stolen. It's sad the way our world has become!

My mom was 17 out of 18 children (one mother, 3 fathers, they died, she survived) and her 8 sisters would remind you to be respectful to your elders ONCE if your lack of reason wasn't too bad. If you tested THAT....!?! 😐 They would take turns slapping "yer jaws off".... You said Aunt and Uncle before their names too!!!
"I'll bust you right in the mouth in front of God and everybody right now young man."
Those were the good days. You knew who was a man and who was a woman. Without doubt. Respect and truth were common and enforced. Period. God help us today. Liberals have destroyed everything and poisoned the rest. May they burn forever.....

I taught my son not to be afraid of today's adults because they're just kids. You're right. Today's adults are different. I blame television. The brain doesn't understand television because the heart it's used as reference guide to our surroundings, even though we can think the difference. Our hearts pound to what we watch, triggering our brains. So when that happens, we are programmed to accept how the tv tells us to act and feel.

Like taking 50% of the GI Bill away in 73, getting turned away from veterans groups because I wasn't a veteran. Being turned away from jobs and getting cussed at in the streets. Unfortunately, the saddest thing about it all, he's right. I grew up during the 70's and 80's and it was me, my younger brother and younger sister. We were born in the middle to late 60's and early 70's. Back then, there was no such thing as "time out", "child abuse" or "social justice". What we did have was "corporal punishment". Our parents were allowed to spank us with whatever they could grasp in their hands and school principals could spank students with a wooden paddle. The current generation has grown up with no morals, no ethics, no common sense and they listen to liberals who keep lecturing else about personal responsibility instead of worrying about their own families and not following their own advice.

This is where we are living, in God's timeline
    2 Timothy 3:
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
    4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Sometime in the 1960s, my Arkansas dad allowed one of his brothers-in-law to build a house on his land. The guy and my aunt had some difficulties, so he decided to shoot himself. He stole my dad's shotgun. My dad went over there, took the shotgun from the guy's hands, beat the shit out of him with the shotgun, and then burned the house down to the ground. The sheriff came out to see what was going on. They talked and cleared the air. No charges against my dad. Nothing to see here. Them's the old days, folks. Deep South kinda stuff.

It’s now 2023 as I listen to this. I think of what this newest generation is turning out to be and I couldn’t agree more with what he is saying. Now we have kids identifying as cats and pooping in litter boxes, offended by pancake syrup, having mental breakdowns because they have to work a full 40 hour week, thinks the government should support them, most of them can’t even drive a manual transmission and smoking cheese cake flavored vapes🤦🏼‍♂️. What has this country become?
