Little amusing story. I am from the same city as Chili Klaus. I worked at a pizza place for about a decade, during that time a couple of regular customers were Chili Klaus and his wife at the time. They were regulars to the point that we all knew their address and usual orders. Klaus even invited one of our delivery drivers to his wedding. Have to admit though, he never ordered our store chili sauce on his pizzas, so I assume he had his own stuff he put on :P. I never really followed Chili Klaus during those years, wasn't until later I learned about the chili eating stuff, at the time I just knew that he and his wife were musicians and that I knew his wife's children as a kid (including going to birthday parties and such at their place), but that was before she met Chili Klaus.
Whoever does the sound mixing should be famous, they're so good at everything sound-related! Whether it's the echoing voices or the music pausing for the tense sound effects, they create an amazing environment that makes you feel like you're sitting right there with them, and feeling what they're feeling through sound!
It's amazing to me that the king of the spice lords comes from Denmark of all places. The only place I managed to find anything even remotely spicy in Copenhagen was a Sichuan restaurant, and it was still less than what we call "medium" in California lol. Huge props to Chili Klaus (and Sean). I wouldn't touch these wings with a 10-foot pole.
Many of the people who likes spicy food in Denmark, likes it to an almost religious degree because spicy food is uncommon in the traditional Danish food (only black pepper and horseradish). It becomes a form of badge of honor for some people to be able to eat spicy food, especially at a younger age.
Dane here. I don't think you're going to find any particularly hot food at restaurants here, mainly because it doesn't sell well. However, you can usually get fresh Carolina Reapers at a regular supermarket - and if not that, then at least habaneros or ghost peppers.

Whoever does the sound mixing should be famous, they're so good at everything sound-related! Whether it's the echoing voices or the music pausing for the tense sound effects, they create an amazing environment that makes you feel like you're sitting right there with them, and feeling what they're feeling through sound!

It's amazing to me that the king of the spice lords comes from Denmark of all places. The only place I managed to find anything even remotely spicy in Copenhagen was a Sichuan restaurant, and it was still less than what we call "medium" in California lol. Huge props to Chili Klaus (and Sean). I wouldn't touch these wings with a 10-foot pole.
Many of the people who likes spicy food in Denmark, likes it to an almost religious degree because spicy food is uncommon in the traditional Danish food (only black pepper and horseradish). It becomes a form of badge of honor for some people to be able to eat spicy food, especially at a younger age.
Dane here. I don't think you're going to find any particularly hot food at restaurants here, mainly because it doesn't sell well. However, you can usually get fresh Carolina Reapers at a regular supermarket - and if not that, then at least habaneros or ghost peppers.
Love you Sean, love Klaus, love the show and love the behind the scenes ending. Most of all I love that I can binge all these episodes

I've seen this video several times when i'm eating superhots. something about chili klaus and sean evans together just pushes the bar to the next level because i have never seen them humble down so hard than when they push it so the limit together.
