Your characterization of the radical left as "people who are overly sensitive to social issues." can only be attributed to partisanship or ignorance. This is one of my favorite interviews on this show. I love how Ricky at first, is kinda questioning what he's even doing here. Like it's all a bit ridiculous. But then he sees what a good interviewer and how sharp and quick witted Sean is and he warms up(pun intended) to the whole thing.
You have the absolutely stupid misconception that anything Gordon says to Hell's kitchen, Kitchen nightmares, or whatever else is even remotely genuine. Maybe he gets frustrated but calling them a fucking potato or whatever is just done for the sake if views. If you don't know that you're probably a naive ten year old.
jon timmermann Gordon is actually a really nice guy. The angry attitude is 50% for the show and 50% for the chefs. If you're asking him for guidance he's going to push you to be the best you can be.
I always love watching the reactions of people when they make Ricky laugh- it's such a genuine, silly, joyful laugh, and you can always see their eyes light up that they succeeded in getting him to let his guard down. Sean's subtle smile when Ricky laughs for the first time says it all.
16:40 "I think you look beautiful." "Thanks." For some reason, that made me laugh the hardest. ("That's why you dress like you're in Trainspotting" comment was right on the money.)
As a vegan myself, I've been reluctant to subscribe to a series centered around eating chicken. I've watched a few episodes, because I enjoy the interviews. However, now that I see that you're open to doing vegan wings, I'm smashing that subscribe button as hard as I can. You've earned my respect, Hot Ones.
They ate vegan wings and the conversation turned onto the topic of Gervais' love for cheese. I didn't even know where I was or if I had heard them correctly for a moment.
I told this girl once I was an atheist and she asked me, "But, have you tried talking to god lately?" I was at a loss for words. The stupidity and arrogance was unbearable.
It's always a constant surprise to me how one guy can be so funny, so sarcastic, so angry, so serious, so philosophical, so kind and so humble all at once. Ricky's like a kaleidoscope of emotions, strange for someone from a land of usually stiff upper lipped people.
@@DaveDexterMusic Of course, not! But my knowledge of the Brits tends to be skewed by the nature of the books I've read written by or involving them, beginning with PG Wodehouse. Second thoughts contrary to the first follow almost immediately but my comments on UA-cam are generally my first thoughts.

Antonio G He is getting comfortable with celebrities.
sct vsk he's sponsored by Old Spice now
Wings aren’t as hot as the roasts at the golden globes
@tyler norton u triggered? 😂 imagine comparing hot sauce to the golden globes for a fuckin arguement 😐
Band Wagon Flip Floppers
tyler norton hey Tyler. it’s been a while. I guess you don’t limit your trolling to G+ G videos.
@tyler norton Spicy things are a physical response that you can't do anything about.
This is one of my favorite interviews on this show. I love how Ricky at first, is kinda questioning what he's even doing here. Like it's all a bit ridiculous. But then he sees what a good interviewer and how sharp and quick witted Sean is and he warms up(pun intended) to the whole thing.
GET GORDON RAMSAY
WHERES THE FUCKING LAMB SAUCE?!!
Nay Nay fuck Gordon he's a douchebag. You probably are too
You have the absolutely stupid misconception that anything Gordon says to Hell's kitchen, Kitchen nightmares, or whatever else is even remotely genuine. Maybe he gets frustrated but calling them a fucking potato or whatever is just done for the sake if views. If you don't know that you're probably a naive ten year old.
Nay Nay yassss
jon timmermann Gordon is actually a really nice guy.
Watch comedians in cars getting coffee. He tells Jerry he fakes it for people so they feel good for making him laugh. Makes him an even better guy lol
I really like Sean's face flinching at 13:49 when Ricky bite the wing. Priceless..
On the wall of shame, can you add what wing out of 10 they quit on?
And put an asterisk by Ricky Gervais, since he did sample. although only slightl, each.
SBarrettM they take various sized bites so its not representative
16:40 "I think you look beautiful." "Thanks." For some reason, that made me laugh the hardest. ("That's why you dress like you're in Trainspotting" comment was right on the money.)
16:54 actually.
Dead baby flashbacks
"Thats the hottest by far" "So far. Yeah, thats how the game works" lmao
Karl pilkington would be the best guest on this... I'm laughing just thinking about it
I thought this is payback for Ricky for all the stuff he put Karl through on Idiot Abroad. -- haha, your idea is rad!
Proper hot 'that is.
first bite he'll go, this is stupid.
Idiot Abroad Season 4, Karl gets sent to several internet shows
Jupjup12345 you're my hero.
The host got my biggest laugh. "I never thought I could." 🤣
As a vegan myself, I've been reluctant to subscribe to a series centered around eating chicken. I've watched a few episodes, because I enjoy the interviews. However, now that I see that you're open to doing vegan wings, I'm smashing that subscribe button as hard as I can. You've earned my respect, Hot Ones.
stayed tuned for more vegan wings of death
Jerry Lazzara How do you know if some is vegan?
Don't worry, they'll tell you about it.
Jerry Lazzara on average, how many times a day do you tell people your vegan?
sb86 yeraulwan, 2,398 times to each person I see.
They ate vegan wings and the conversation turned onto the topic of Gervais' love for cheese. I didn't even know where I was or if I had heard them correctly for a moment.
"That's why you dress like you're from Trainspotting" Hahahah
See how fast Ricky retracted when he knew he didnt find it funny..
that was savage hola
sean has so much charisma, he doesn't need pretty ultrachic clothes. I can't imagine him in a suit sitting there LOL
What time was this I can’t find it haha
"Just because you're offended doesn't mean your right"
Your right... What?

I loved that sound effect when Ricky was miming opening a door haha
this guys a good interviewer
"Do you believe in fairies?"
"No"
"...Rapist!"
HAHAHAHAHAHA
freakin hilarious
The Complete Tank top
What time is the joke?
I told this girl once I was an atheist and she asked me, "But, have you tried talking to god lately?" I was at a loss for words. The stupidity and arrogance was unbearable.
@@alastairhewitt380 But have you though?
Absolutely love Ricky- dude is real AF but still a kind human being. Love what he brought out in you, Sean, as well!! You both kick ass - ♥️
PETA affiliation is an issue tho cuz... yeah not the most clean of organisations.
@@kinagrill you have an issue with his love for animals? weird.
@@manello2114 it’s not that, it’s PETA as an organization. do a bit of reading and you’ll see that they’re not about animal wellness, at all.
@@manello2114 PETA literally abuse animals.
Is he, do you know him in real life? Or any celebrity you might say this about? Lol people are just that… people.
"I can feel the sweetness before the heat, it's like a Morrissey song" - i laughed so hard and I needed that today.
Please can we see Danny Devito take on the wings
He's gonna bring his gun though.
As a matter of fact, you better bring one, too. And I'd have that thing out and be ready to rock.
I'd fuckin' watch that!
Ben Olsen OMG YES!!!
Ben Olsen totally
Holy shit Ricky Gervais! I've never clicked play so fast.
You and me both buddy the guy is hillarious
ogm721 same
same!
ogm721 same
Anything Ricky Gervais is 10/10!
Sean: "I think you look beautiful"
Ricky: (mumbles) "thanks"
jazzpip1 realized Sean got offended for commenting on his outfit 😂
13:27
Ricky: That’s by far the hottest!
Sean: So far, yeah that’s how the game works
"Read 2 fucking books!" Love this guy!
Those door sounds were perfect.
It's always a constant surprise to me how one guy can be so funny, so sarcastic, so angry, so serious, so philosophical, so kind and so humble all at once. Ricky's like a kaleidoscope of emotions, strange for someone from a land of usually stiff upper lipped people.
do you honestly think british people simply don't experience the full gamut of human emotions?
@@DaveDexterMusic Of course, not! But my knowledge of the Brits tends to be skewed by the nature of the books I've read written by or involving them, beginning with PG Wodehouse. So, my first thoughts of the people are, as I commented earlier, almost always 'stiff upper lip', almost always followed by, 'eh, Jeeves?'
Second thoughts contrary to the first follow almost immediately but my comments on UA-cam are generally my first thoughts.
@@csgollum Rick is from a pretty poor area not far from me. So he's from a less quintessential "stiff upper lip" kind of British culture
i actually feel like a lot of people you will meet in britain will have a similar humour to ricky gervais. very dry sense of humour and don’t take themselves too seriously. i know a lot of people who act like that from where i’m from.
He was a talented musician, and only the most talented musicians can be so eccentric
I'm losing it at "serial killers socks" 🤣🤣🤣
Ricky: *This is the hottest so far!!*
Sean: yeah, that’s how the game works
How did I read this at the exact time I came up in the video
nick dekker he read your mind 🤯
@nick dekker
Because 15 people have commented with the same exact quote, and you were bound to see one of them
Sean is so sassy and confident and goofy in this interview. It's strange.
I think it's because Ricky is quite easy to talk to
I was thinking the same thing!! He’s usually very calm in recent interviews... strange to me!
LoinclothRising he’s speaking to a comedian
That's the thing about being a host. You change the vibe and direction depending on who you have on. It's a skill, not only good for show hosts, but real life as well.
looks like he take pills
The sound design when Ricky is pretending to open and close the door is perfection!
I watched it a few times. Perfect.
Yessss
Had to rewatch it because I thought rick had somehow done the effect himself. Great quality show this
+1111
2:54
“Up to 45 minutes”
What a British opinion
I drive 40 minutes to get to school everyday
And that’s one way
35 MINUTES,he saif!:)
Get Bill Nye The Science Guy on
or Neil Degrasse Tyson...or both at the same time!
Love how Ricky always wears the same thing every interview
He probably does it on purpose, makes you feel like you know him in a stronger way
black is the new black
achanwahn black is timeless. Also hides his fat
He dresses like, who gives a fuck. I have money but why should I have to show that I’ve got money by wearing gold chains and clown wear, being a shine.
"Its the swallowing. I can take it in the mouth.." good lord context
Peter DeVita do we not do phrasing anymore
Peter DeVita that's what she said.
Simon Van Liew Aha a lil Archer huh...👍
sweet mother of context
I’ve never seen Sean this amped! It’s so lovely 🥰
Ricky is such an intelligent man. Keep them coming guys.
: (
13:19 that's such an honest British reaction, I can't with Ricky 🤣 I can't believe it that he ate that Da Bomb wing even after trying a little bit of it.
Legend!
Haha "Swim in the deep end with me" needs to be on a Hot Ones merch shirt. As does, "Sriracha, no big deal" and "TINASHE WHERE YOU AT?!"
junbizzle I'd buy that shirt
They should hire you for their marketing dept lol
Yes. Don't forget "hugging joinks"
"Sean, I'm having a stroke."
I would also buy this
oh man the British guests are always the most funny. Love it!
get Gordon Ramsay on the show, stat!
omg that would be the best yet.
..These wings are fucking RAW!!
"Fuck me. These wings are disgusting. And, the worst part: the ingredients aren't allowed to speak for themselves. This plate stinks of pretentiousness, without being able to back it up with something real."
Edited to add:
Actually, since this is a US based production, it would be more like this:
"[BEEP] me. These wings are disgusting. [REPEATED SOUNDBITE, CYMBAL NOISE]... *[AD BREAK]* .... [REPEATED SOUNDBITE, CYMBAL NOISE, DRAMATIC PAUSE, CCTV OF STAFF STORMING OFF, CYMBAL NOISE]."
he'll never do it he's too protective of his "palette" and rightfully so
* hot ones employee puts wings on the table *
"Thank you darling"
10:38 the editing of the *opening closing door part* is just ingenious!
He touched his eye and Sean didn’t tell him to be careful around the eyes lol
It's sauce, not powder
Mathias Christensen It doesn’t matter. I’ve had some really nasty hot sauce and washed my hands after. Even after that if you rub your eyes it burns.
@@mathiaschristensen1194 it doesnt matter, its actually really dangerous for your eyes.
@SayZen what happened
@SayZen shut up play a nother record. Mong!
"they'll do anything to be on telly" looks at the campera!!! hahaha!!!
-Testicles float
Sean: ( ͡⊙ ͜ʖ ͡⊙)
There's something really satisfying watching Gervais burn his tongue on hot sauce for our entertainment. Thank you, Ricky!
Bonnie Burton i bet carl had a laugh watching this
ethan from h3h3
He'd be on the wall of shame by the second wing
yeesssssss
crisisofconsciousness YES. LET HIM SCREAM! IN PLEASU... wait wot?
what ? ricky is far funnier than that freak
Nah. You have to wait until they reboot the series and call it "Hot Ones: Overrated".
that hall of shame transition into his agonising yell always gets me🤣🤣🤣🤣 14:29
Try to get Lil Dicky on the show!
Fuuuuuuuuuck yes
eugh
