Right now I am making a cloud blanket with bulky yarn. I am using double crochet and single crochet. I am so happy that you showed other stitches for bulky yarn. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤
This video is very helpful. With autumn and winter approaching, the bulky Yarns, #5, #6, are calling out to me. I appreciate this video and y'all going the extra mile to include video links! I learn something new each and every video. Many thanks! MaryAnne in New Mexico 🌶 USA
Thank you for this! Not only do these stitches work for bulky yarns but they work for multicolored yarns as well. I think its more difficult to find stitches for varigated and self striping yarns than bulky. With that being said, you and Cody have managed to do both! Its a win win! 😊👍 Thanks again!
You’ve timed this so right! I’ve just acquired 6 x 150g non 6 weight yarn. Thank you! After writing this I read the comments of others so many similar comments. You certainly hit the jackpot with this.
@@Elise788 Best? The are my main STOP for yarn swatches and stitches these days. 💯 The two of them get together and it’s a great yarn education for me. 👍🏽🥰🧶
Seriously!! Thank you for this video!! I have searched for something like this since I started crocheting. I'm self taught with help from your channel and actually started out with bulky bernat blanket yarn. I have made 15 blankets, 3 shawls and I'm currently working on a scarve. Thank you again and my God bless you and your family.
❤I loved this video and thank you Cody for putting links in the description area for easy access to the pattern stitches. I agree with you that the lighter colors show the patterns better. I won a double v-stitch baby pattern kit with the yarn and pattern on one of your video giveaways Glenda about 10 years ago. It was beautiful and I donated it to our local Hospice group to give to a patient since I crochet and knit blankets for their patients now that I retired due to poor health. They donate the yarn and I volunteer my time to making the blankets. I usually make the c2c or granny squares using scrap yarns. Thanks again for this great stitch pattern video.
Thank you for this video it's a fantastic way to be exposed to new stitches but also figure out ways to use yarn you didn't know what to do with. I'm definitely going to try the unique and crunch stitches.
I started crocheting back in February of this year and this channel is one that I come back to almost everytime I need or want to learn a new stitch or pattern Thank you all soooo much for your Info! I love Cody's stitch as well and will be using it soon. I now have 2 fall markets coming up to sell my items! Love your channel and I look forward to seeing more ❤
Oh my, I bought an anniversary cake well actually 4 of them from Carron I didn't realize they were bulky and I dreaded it.But I made a nice double crochet Afghan that fits the size of a Queen size bed. It will be warm.
Great video. I thought you would include a little bit of tutorials on those less familiar stitches. Ooh well, maybe next time. I love the two of you in your videos. TYSM❤❤❤❤❤

Yes, the Unique stitch is pretty, I tried it when I saw the video🙂 Helpful to see these thicker yarns, too! Thank you! Might be fun to see more samples with solid and mixed rows.
Hi again. What a fun way to show some stitches. I'm certain I'm gone use some to make baby and toddler blankets for my good cause project. Nice to have all kind of different results Thanks from Belgium. Anita ❤❤❤
Loving these swatch videos. So fun to see how they work up. Thank you for doing these videos.❤️❤️ Plus love the stitches you use. I’m a beginner so I love seeing these.
Thank you so much! This is hugely helpful! I liked all the stitches and fell in love with that double crochet granny square with the tropical looking Yarn Bee yarn!
Thank you all for this video! ❤ I would love to see a mohair mixed with other fibers… how to use them and what stitches work best with it. I haven’t tried working with that type of yarn yet, but I’m very interested in learning more about it. I currently use acrylic, cotton, and the macchiato cakes, cloud cakes, and latte cakes by Caron. I’m just curious about different types of yarns and what projects they’re best for. Again, thank you both so very much for your uplifting and helpful videos. They’re much appreciated! ☺️💯🙌
Thanks for the links to the patterns! I'm working on a Puzzle yarn blanket all day, so I need a break. I think I'll make a dishcloth with the floret stitch.
Hey Glenda n Cody, I watched this video again because I’m purchasing several different color ways of different bulky yarn weights n want to know what stitches I can use… very helpful video!! Projects for 2025!! Thanks!! 😻
Very informative. I haven’t been using thicker bulky yarns, mainly because I don’t have patterns for them. The stitches you show are a help for using the yarn for blankets. I especially like the no-hole stitches as I’d like an afghan that doesn’t let in a draft. 😬🥶 Thanks so much. 👍
