Your UA-cam videos are one of the best companies for a crocheter like me, that is a single mom and her kid is in school. It's just you, me and my three cats ❤🎉
That sounds amazing omg 🥹, I looove putting a video of someone crocheting on the TV and just sinking into the couch while I work on my WIP. I found another creator a few months ago, her channel name is ikoxun and she made 2 “crotchet with me” videos with Lofi music..I was in heaven bro 😭💖
Please be really careful with crocheting around cords because they can be a fire hazard i know they look cute but the risk isn’t worth it i looked it up and there are sites that suggest ways to make it safer but honestly id avoid it all together because even while being careful the risk is just too great
I really love the idea of making a few things from this list as a set. Like a home decor set with the bag saver, coasters, and nesting tray. Or maybe a “spa day” set with scrubbies, soap savers, and wash cloths.
I've seen so much info from vets and techs saying not to do crocheted/knitted pet toys. They talked about instances of swallowing the yarn and fibers, and then the items were getting stuck in their bowels. So that's probably the only thing I could do without making on the list.
As a reminder for: any/every toy, bone or treat watch them as they are playing it so that they don't swallow it/parts of it (this goes for non-crocheted toys as well as this is where everyone goes wrong)
Good grief. Can't believe how many of these things I've made over my 50+ years of crocheting. Makes me so happy that trends keep cycling around again & again. 💙
This is my favorite part about crocheting. I’m 22 and I’ve been doing it for 2 and a half years and used to work at Joann. It was so incredible meeting so many people who share the same hobby ranging from 10 to 100 years old. Especially because there’s kind of sub-categories within it. Some people make mostly blankets, or wearables, or decor, or accessories, or just fun trinkets. Personally I like wearables and accessories but I really want to get into decor for my home especially because it is so expensive to decorate
I have been trying to figure out Christmas gifts that wouldn’t take till next Christmas to get finished. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Right on time.
Another idea is to make simple crochet ornaments. I'm doing that this year for all the ladies. I'm making a collection of bells, wreaths, snowflakes and angels
@@nene00760075 I did that for my Mom's assisted living staff this year. I made mini-Christmas trees and slapped a star-shaped hook on the top for Christmas tree, Christmas tree ornaments.
I'm only a VERY beginner crocheter, but I loved this video. The ideas really opened my eyes to what I can do when I get better. Please make some more like this and please make some videos on how to make some of those wonderful ideas you presented. Oh yeah. And please make some just for us beginners falling in love with crocheting. Luv from Australia 🇦🇺
When I have a lot of leftover yarn and odd skeins (I usually work with acrylic) I double it up and make scrap rugs. I mix different color yarns together and when one runs out I just add another color and keep going. I makes for an interesting rug and it washes well.
I’ve made the bikini top and bottom. They are quick, easy and fun. I love this list especially because we are nearing the holiday season and there are so many stocking suffers suggestions. All the accessories. The charger vine and mesh vest, door openers for my teens, seasonal place mats, organizers, so many great ideas. Thank you for this video. Btw, loving “Happy Place” feels good, works well, beautiful colors.
I'm a little late to the party, but I'm intrigued by the idea of making placemats! I am a big fan of making coasters, potholders, baskets, bandanas, hair ties and bows, and also a big fan of you Toni 🌼
I have been buying small baskets and bowls and bags like crazy to organize all my stuff. Feeling a bit silly for not making my own, and putting crochet flowers on all of them :P But now I have lots ideas :) Love this!!
Great ideas! I'd be careful with pet toys though. Like if you have a heavy chewer for a pet. And the small stuffed animals are a huge trend in Japan called Amigurumi and there are a TON of super cute patterns online!
I know, right? that yarn is unbelievably plushy!!! and those colors... the pale yellow and the pumpkin look edible 🤩🤩🤩 and I swear it literally works itself! mine arrived this Thursday, and I'm already halfway my granny cardigan 😍
What a great video, and I have plenty of the one skeins . When I started crocheting when I lost my job when the big C hit, then Breast cancer came along so with all the time I have learned so much about the crochet and sewing and I’m loving my new hobbies and it got me through some rough times during my chemotherapy treatments and of course all my friends I have met here in the UA-cam streets. Sending positive vibes, hope you have a great holiday season.🍁🍁🍁🍁🍂🍂🍂🍂🧶🧶🧶🧶
I love how much crochet is coming back into style for home decor! It's a very seventies aesthetic and it's so fun. I also adore those big fat flower keychains-they're going on the fiber art bucket list for sure.
Hi Toni first thanks for all the awesome idea for one skein. But as a retired nurse my heart kept when you mentioned you have a SILICONE ALLERGY. Please please PLEASE get some MEDIC ALERT jewelry. If you ever have a medical emergency where you can’t speak for yourself, the personnel will absolutely need to know all allergies. There are countless important items made with silicone including catheters. Silicone has replaced almost all latex in hospitals. . Be well and thanks for all your priceless knowledge.
0:13 can i get an amen?!!!! I actually keep the clipped tails of projects, sorted by color in ziplocks, and use it to stuff similar colored crochet items lol, waste not want not
I’m 62 New at crocheting. I needed something I can do since due to chronic disability my ability to walk is declining. I started with finger knitting with chunky yarn. A friend introduced me to it. I made a throw for my mother I will take to her the next time I visit her. Then I found a granny square kit at the half price store. I’m still learning. My granny squares still aren’t the best but I’m getting better. Thanks to some of your tips they’re almost usable. I’m thinking about making a bag for the back of my wheelchair and maybe one for my mother too. This way I can put the handles on the side that would fit best instead of twisting a bag around. Anyway: Thank You for your tips and Ideas. Learning to crochet is helping me to feel like I have something of value to do. I ran into your channel through another channel. I can’t think of the name of it right now (Fibro fog sucks) She was doing 5 tips from the same book you did five tips from.
Ive always had a problem with not drinking enough water at school because i didn’t like holding onto the water-bottle, so that holder is a super cool idea! ❤
I've had a bit of a rough time lately and, coincidentally, took a break from crocheting at the same time. Hearing your voice again made me so happy, your channel is such a comforting and welcoming place.
I somehow lost you for a while and now I'm subscribed again! I just saved 9 ideas. You have such a knack for finding great ideas, and you're so good in front of a camera. Thank you for all the work that you put into this video!
Thank you. This video is a great find. Because, as you said "people may have gifted a single skein of yarn". That is me. I have a lot of gifted yarns. I am bookmarking this so that I can find it when I am ready for a new idea to clear my stash.
right? so many one skein gifts! "i found this gorgeous yarn i thought youd love it! "thanks! ...for the ONE skein..." usually from non-crocheters but appreciate the thought always lol just always makes me laugh
My niece is a teacher 2nd grade and every year I make scrunchies with my left over yarn for the girls in her class ( she buys for her boys ) …I love all of your ideas ..I am going to make the dog & cat toys gifts for Christmas !!!! Love your channel & you !!!!!
this is the first video of yours i've seen and OMG your vibe is to die for. you seem so sweet and i love how informative this video is! - from the yarn recs to the potential for each piece. i want to make them all
my two cents on dog toys. use the same kind of yarn and filling you would use for a toddler, and ditch all the sewn-on embellishments: just like baby toys, they will be chewed. not recommended (as every other chocking hazard/not safe if ingested object) if your dog is a heavy chewer, big sized or high energy. if your dog checks one of those boxes, a scrap blanket is a better option. or, for short haired and sensitive to cold breeds, a sweater. I know I may sound a little paranoid on dog safety, but a few years ago my Dogue de Bordeaux ingested a small chew toy (discarded at the dog park by some a**hole) by accident and had to have emergency surgery. it was no joke, and it's not something you want to experience, trust me...
Just a warning- if your pet is a heavy chewer, don’t let them have access to a knit or crocheted toy unsupervised. They can swallow lengths of yarn and cause serious internal injury. I LOVE this video, thank you so much for sharing it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for ❤
Thank you so much Toni!! I want to make them all!! A bag and soap saver would be saviors in my house so I think I'm gonna get on those!! Have a wonderful day and give Mr. Pepper some pets for me!❤
I love so many of these ideas.....but cat hats for felines would be 1. a waste of time, and 2. a waste of yarn. I'd need a pattern to crochet some gauze bandages for myself after trying to put hats on my two cats! 😸😸
I'm using my leftover yarn to make pot holders for four people that's getting out of high school and a my DJ for karaoke put them in a new home and find them cheap and cited as furniture so I'm making Paul or coasters dish rags for them
I made a pint-ice cream holder. Literally made a circle the size of the bottom of the carton and brought it up like a bucket shape - no more cold hands 😅
Way TOO many to name which is my favorite....the string "curtains" the tiny vests/tube tanks, then wall holders....well, it goes on and on and on Thank You! LOVE your channel!
These are such good ideas! And if happy place weren’t nearly sold out on hobbii I’d suggest that we play a shopping game and every time Toni says “Now” we add a skein to our cart! 😂 love you Toni!! ❤🎉
Awesome ideas! I crochet accessories, Home decor and gifts to sell at craft fairs. Currently clearing out my stash, so one skein wonders are my focus. Sunflowers are hugely popular. Door curtains are on my list for my studio doorway. Love that boho vibe. Thanks for sharing. Keep shining.
I personally love all of it except for the cowels they just arent my cup of tea. I loooove your videos and your wit n great love and excitement for all things you do! Thanks for always restoring my crojo n just brightening my day in general! GOD BLESS Toni n how awesome for that lil storm thingy you got for ur lil Pepper fella! How nice. I love kind people n just random acts of kindness like that. Its my dream to someday be able to crochet fast so i can help out n donatestuff for homeless shelters , pet shelters n baby blankies. I think the biggest reward is knowing i helped someone by keeping them cozy n making a difference with kindness! Its free sprinkle that kind glitter everywhere you can people! God bless n keep up the lovely work! Thank you
I also made a yoga mat strap (pattern by Carlie Flo) with a less than a full skein of cotton yarn! Super easy to do with just yarn & some bamboo or metal rings.
The charger ones are really cool and something I haven’t thought of before. You ain’t ever gunna catch me in a crochet bikini tho, I cannot STAND the texture of wet yarn
I'll be making the book cover, for sure. Maybe for my Bible, but then for my favorite escapism book too. Oh, and the one for phones. I carry two, one for personal, one for work, I hadn't thought of making a carry-case that can hold both, until you flipped through and I saw how cute it was.
I just LOVE the endless possibilities that yarn crafters have! Small, quick makes are so much fun to whip up. Thank you, Toni, for bringing these to my attention. 😊 💜✌️🧶
So many great ideas! I personally will never make amigurumi. I know, I know, zillions of people love it. I don't. The first thing I would make (from my cotton yarn stash) is the mushroom dish . So cute! I have some yarn in my stash that would be perfect for a bandana cowl.
Thundershirts are awesome! Our 14 yo herding breed has gone thru two of them with thunderstorms and fireworks. Her latest is hot pink which my husband surprisingly picked out for her. I can go on and on about how it is worth more than its weight in yarn/gold.
I'm excited about this video. I'm going to Joann's later today so the timing is great. At first I thought the flowers were throw pillows. 😅 They are darling!
I've been crocheting for decades-teaching crochet was even my actual job for several years-but I'd lost my crochet mojo, and I felt real sad about it. I found your channel a few weeks ago, and your videos have become such an inspiration and happy place for me; I love your creativity, your insight, and your warm and funny commentary. You've rekindled my love of crochet when I thought I'd never get the magic back. Thank you so much! 💚
Couple things not listed: mug/cup cover. I make these too keep flies off my coffee cup between today's last cup and tomorrow's first cup. I also use them to keep hanging mugs from getting dusty inside. Also, pan separators to keep your expensive pans from damaging eachother.
THANK YOU SO MUCHH!!!! I've been so bored this entire spring break and can't believe I didn't happen to come up ur beautiful video!!! I so many ideas to make all because of you!! I'm currently a water bottle holder and it's turning out so cute!!!
I ove the face scrubbies, so those first. No winter wear; I live in Florida, so never those. Little bags? Bring them on! Also, ice cream bowl holders! Great ideas! Thank you!
You are SO talented! I've always wanted to crochet my own clothes items. Thanks so much for these ideas❣️. Keep up the good work, this world needs more of your happiness that you send out. 🙏
I’m excited to make these projects! Thank you for a great video! BTW, your crochet tutorial helped me be able to crochet for real instead of hit-and-miss trying. Thank you!!!
I regret all my decisions. I bought all of the men in my wedding / family matching ties for my wedding. I SHOULD HAVE crocheted them all that would have been super cute!
About to start crocheting and I'm definitely going to have to try some of these... I could definitely go for a funky crochet necktie and a matching beanie for fall, but I also love the idea of doing those earwarmer headbands for my mom and sisters, kind of a matching gift thing when the weather gets chilly. I can see myself doing a lot of scrunchies, coasters, and keychains, too. (I'm DEFINITELY doing some little plush desk buddies to have around while I work)
This video is so helpful!! I committed my entire summer to learning how to crochet, and I just bought some new yarn without a plan in mind, and I've been trying to find stuff to make. This def game me a bunch of ideas for things to do in my new room (I'm moving soon and I want to crochet stuff for it) and just projects in general!!
I’m trying to like the tissue box cover 😂 Old peeves die hard I reckon THANK YOU for not including TP covers; *especially featuring cheap plastic dolls bodies* 🎉
Oh man! If I wasn't currently working, I'd be stah diving! Guess what I'll be doing in about 11 hours.... 😂 I just acquired two little baby kittens who need some new toys. ❤
For myself, I would NEVER make a bikini. Even when I was thinner, that was not me and no way would one skein make a proper bikini top for my girls, LOL! A lot of the list I've already considered making but just haven't gotten around to it since I'm always working on SOMETHING I want to do more but I do need to stash bust so thanks for the due diligence you put into making my selection easier, Toni!!
Hi 🤗 just stumbled upon your channel & I love this video! Not only did it have such great ideas but I also love your energy & personality. I'm also on a mission to use up some yarn so I will be trying my hand at a few of these. Thank you for sharing! 🥰
I have literally just started crocheting. And I am obsessed. I just tried it for the first time yesterday and I already made some cute coasters to set your cups on. Even added a cute little gold border! (Because who doesn't want to add a bit of sparkle or bling to their project?) Now.. I'm a big time cardigan lover, I love sweaters and cute socks. And accessories. So.. instead of buying mass produced overpriced cute things.. why not make home made affordable cute things, and possibly share them with the community?? I even thought of combining fabric with crochet. Like a cute top with crochet accents, but for now, basics lol Now I don't know if it's my grandma's creativity comming through me (may she rest in peace) or this is just a normal thing for someone who is just a creative crafty artistic woman such as i.. but I am enjoying myself more than ever when it comes to creating new and exciting things. Honestly I don't even question it. I am going to LOVE this!!! I have had carpal tunnel release on my right wrist and still have difficulty with both my right and left wrist seizing up on me or locking up. So I bought special crochet hooks to help. And what a difference. I'm in my 30s and I have free time, so when I'm not volunteering or helping in the community or working (not all at once of course, lol) I craft, draw, paint, etc. So it's no wonder I developed carpal tunnel. Now before i developed a love of crocheting, I've been getting ready to go to college so I can open up a business of my own and run it through my home. Like a family-run situation, si it would be fun to add some cute crocheted trinkets and such. I haven't felt this excited since I picked up beading. Yay!
Excuse me, I clicked on what I expected to be a wordless amalgamation of stolen clips set to repetitive free music! How dare you cram this many ideas into an actual high-quality high-effort high-originality legitimately-presented-by-a-real-human video! Great, now I have to go and check out your channel, the horror! Some people 🙄 😜
Thank you for featuring my mushroom garbage bag dispenser! 🍄I hang mine in my kitchen and I love that you showed it off here 😀 love your video!
Well done! It’s so cute!!!

Super easy to do with just yarn & some bamboo or metal rings.
these were good and some unique ideas, I loooooove it thank you.
💜✌️🧶
❤I love these ideas but can u show me how to crochet these items thanks
Brilliant as always. Thankyou. Bum bags and leggins I think.
Great inspo video. I love the cowl/snood idea and the wee little plushies. I'm not too crazy about the bikini, though. 😅
i would love to know where to get all of these patterns please!
Making a bottle holder while watching this 😅
These are also perfect for someone like me who is too impatient and slow to finish something larger. Or who wants to make gofts for their friends.
So many great ideas! I personally will never make amigurumi. I know, I know, zillions of people love it. I don't. The first thing I would make (from my cotton yarn stash) is the mushroom dish . So cute! I have some yarn in my stash that would be perfect for a bandana cowl.
Tfs love these ideas. I definitely want to start with the gift ideas, then try the others afterwards 😊❤
Thundershirts are awesome! Our 14 yo herding breed has gone thru two of them with thunderstorms and fireworks. Her latest is hot pink which my husband surprisingly picked out for her. I can go on and on about how it is worth more than its weight in yarn/gold.
*her* we are all adults
*Me sweets in 16* yah adults
I'm excited about this video. I'm going to Joann's later today so the timing is great.
At first I thought the flowers were throw pillows. 😅 They are darling!
Where can I find all these patterns?
Also, pan separators to keep your expensive pans from damaging eachother.
you are gorgeous! thanks so much for all the ideas and giving tips for types of stitches or yarn to use! as a beginner i really appreciate it :)
Wow, love all these great ideas. My dog might be sporting a bow tie soon! I love your podcast, thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCHH!!!! I've been so bored this entire spring break and can't believe I didn't happen to come up ur beautiful video!!! I so many ideas to make all because of you!! I'm currently a water bottle holder and it's turning out so cute!!!
YES! I was losing hope on finding projects I liked. What was I thinking?? I should have looked for a video from you FIRST!
Please make a dog sweater
Hi. How do I get the patterns for some of these projects that you've shown please? Thank you! HAPPY CROCHETING ❤
Oh My god!!!! I LOVE YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU’RE THE BEST 💕💕💕
THANK GOD 💕💕💕💕💕IT’S A GREAT VIDEO 💕💕💕💕💕
wow this is the first video where I was actually excited about about the projects. The top door curtain is EXACTLY what I need and I can make it!
Thank you for your video t
I am fucking HYPED to make placemats and wall hangings!! Ears aren't pierced, so id never make the earrings 😄
Hi Toni!! My first time here! Don't forget RAOCK for the small bits! I put them in the children's library!
I’m trying to like the tissue box cover 😂
Old peeves die hard I reckon
THANK YOU for not including TP covers; *especially featuring cheap plastic dolls bodies* 🎉
I can't stop watching your videos! I love that I found you! Merry Christmas week!
Some people 🙄 😜
I have a skein of nasty acrylic yarn and I just need to do SOMETHING with it. So many hideous pieces of clothing have been made lol
YOU SAVED MY LIFE. I have a strict policy of using whatever i got, so that helped a lot. ❤
