Maliketh has some incredible moves, and you really get to appreciate them when you restrict your damage. This, however, is further than i would go. Insane skill and focus dude.
@@Jordien i like the pure vessel theme, it came out of nowhere and was unexpected but very welcome cause it reminds me of this fight the most of any elden ring fight, I think if you could come back to any boss arena with certain item and fight a buffed version of main or mandatory bosses like remmeberance fights and gods or atleast fog gate bosses and fight them with more damage and health that would be a step forward to give people that are still dipping there toes into the pool of soulsborne challenge runs a little something
Go to Ashina castle at 4:30PM, you will be met by a large man with very long hair who will give you 2 options, you must choose to side with said person and commence the final battle of Ashina.

This is one of the best videos showcasing malekith. Anyone wants to master this fight, definitely would suggest to watch at least 10 munites of this video. Btw how many tries man?
Thanks ! The song is the Pure Vessel theme (extended) from Hollow Knight. I wanted to list all the musics in the description but ended up forgetting, oops
absolutely love this boss, I just hate that it comes after beast clergyman, so you can't really practice this boss without first 2 min vs another boss for 1 single attempt.
I thought let's search Maliketh fist only and nothing would show up but something did show up and my mind was blown! I first like the video and then start watching!😂 I am just wondering if you are this good with other bossess
This really is just dumb. You need to calm down, you're too good at this fight. I was debating doing some sort of silly Radahn kill, maybe ng+7 no talismans club only, since it's the only boss I know well enough to do anything resembling a marathon, but this Maliketh kill is just extreme. You're a nut.
Hi friend. Do you think it's hard to do this without taking damage? I want to try with the same stats, but i think it will take 30 hours with my experience.
Hello, it's mostly practice. With enough training, a fists only not hit could be achievable, but you'll need to know every little bug and glitch the boss can do incase it happens mid attempt. Good luck if you attempt it!
Wait what, I never noticed this - in the actual fight or when rewatching it later. Good eye! Maliketh can extremely rarely spawn a disjointed hitbox when doing an attack (this glitch can happen to other bosses like Malenia), so I guess that's the reason. I had only encountered the glitch once before in hundreds of hours on this boss, I guess that's two now.
Interesting how much your DPS falls off at Maliketh, since he's more than half the video. Didn't seem like you were missing many openings or anything. I guess he really does spend too much time jumping about. Also it seems like two R1s do more damage than a fully charged R2? Perhaps your DPS would have been higher if you stuck only to R1s and jump attacks. Fist poise damage is shit anyway, and I doubt the one or two ripostes you missed out on would've made that much of a difference. Though maybe you ran this calculation yourself to see what was more efficient and I'm just plain wrong. Nice to see you also haven't figured out a consistent way to dodge and landing spin attack and just dodge it entirely.
Yeah, Beast Clergyman phase is much more open to constant pressure, and while p2 usually compensates with tons of charged R2s openings and subsequent staggers/ripostes, they do so little on fists that phase 2 as a result is noticeably longer. To be fair the phase wasn't fully optimized with fists moveset since it was my first attempt on it, but it would've still been much longer than phase 1 regardless. As for fists damage, the R1 does 6 in a double punch (3x2) which is not anywhere close to the 14 damage of cr2s, no. Especially given how awkward the animation of the double punch is and how model collision will cause a lot of them to miss resulting in half-hits for 3 damage only, you're much better off doing regular r2s/jump attacks as main punish for 10 damage each and cr2s whenever possible. Regarding the triple projectiles into double spin attack, I managed to punish it decently in the past by jumping it, but it's janky and the precision required far outweights the punish window, moreso with how rare the attack can be. I have not tried redirecting into pillars but I generally avoid getting close to them to prevent pillar attacks cancels and other collision memes. It appears clear to me that this attack was meant to be parried, it's not very intuitive otherwise

Agreed, I've always thought he deserved a full heal for phase 2, the poor boy dies too quickly. And thanks much appreciated !
