Ok, using Wolf Assault against Godfrey's power up stomps was just WAY too clean to be legal

Magma Guillotine can do even better as you can jump over and lay low, especially if you do the follow-up.
It's so ridiculously OP it's not even funny.
I've done it before with the black blade incantation. The follow up will also dodge his AOE ground slam. Satisfying asf!

I used to do it with Malenia’s spell. Would avoid his attack and put scarlet rot on him
Using Godslayer to kill Radagon and Elden Beast was 10/10 lore friendly
Maliketh wasn't around to keep that from happening this time.
I found Radagon and Elden Beast extremely easy to kill with Godslayer. In fact I tried around 30 times to kill them with few other weapons, but after switching to it I beat them 1st try. Colossal weapons shred hard.

I still believe they should’ve given Godfrey’s ax the Godslayer Greatsword move set
Cause that’s LITERALLY how he swings it during his bossfight

Seeing the timing with the Ruins Greatsword against Godfrey and pulling out the Godslayer Greatsword just to use the Queen's Black Flame to kill gods as it was intended were absolutely brilliant. A really neat way to showcase the latest updates to the weapons.
You actually show how faster recovery buff for these weapons actually matter by committing to various animation before bosses do big attack. impressive!
Ashes of war for these weapons never got a speed buff. Its the general moveset with the exception of the crouch and roll atacks which got nerfed in animation speed

I haven't played Elden Ring since my ng+3 back in May but wow looking at these boss fights still, the game just looks so damn good and cinematic. You don't really notice that much of the detail and animations when you're playing since you're trying just not to die but this game just straight up looks like a movie
Also the fact this guy is the actual John Elden Ring and makes his fights as epic as possible for our entertainment.

I liked the use of an un-upgraded weapon on Maliketh to make sure his awesome fight doesn't end in 2 microseconds

@@seb3832 Rotten Greataxe is it called it think. You get it from one of the Gladiators in the Snowfield. Not too bad Damage and has Rot on it.
How did he parry maliketh? He didn’t have a shield, even on his sub menu.

@@seb3832 I didn’t even see the claw in his item menu, it was an empty flask the whole time, and I didn’t see the quick pouch come up even for a split second. I trust he knows something I don’t. If he’s on PC maybe he has a hotkey, who knows, still gotta get the timing right

@@eetfuk3571 She did, he probably just repeated until good RNG. I've been testing Malenia's fight for 2 hours today in prep for my second no-hit personal best at her. Her RNG is wild. If you get good RNG, you can parry her first phase to death within 45 seconds without getting hit. If you get bad RNG, that same phase can take 7 minutes just because she'll only be pulling moves that are impossible to punish on top of a ton of waterfowls that will need to be dodged, or in the worst case, outright kill you in one go because she'll jitter the wrong way for no reason and have her invisible floating avatar block you from strafing her, forcing you to facetank 80% of it.
She's such a broken boss. Without the waterfowl and the clone attack, she'd be a great fight.

Altho I think the shadow clones, aside from the damage are perfectly fine.

But I was on NG with about 14% resistances and they 2-shot me at 2155 health. Nothing that is undodgeable within range like those things are should 2-shot that amount of health.
I fought Mohg (Lord Of Blood) right after and was amazed at how little damage he dealt. It felt like I could tank 7 hits from him consecutively, even the big ones. Malenia 2-3 shot me with rapid slashes. She's definitely overtuned, and I don't understand how you can ever call her enjoyable.
Maliketh, THAT is an enjoyable boss. A shame he has to be fought with unupgraded weapons because he needs triple his current health to be viable as a threat.

I agree that Mohg and Maliketh are amazing bosses, Maliketh being pretty much tied with Malenia.
But I don't think shadow clones are undodgable.
And aside from 2 attacks which are the waterfowl and the shadow clones, malenia's attacks never dealt absurdly high damage for me. Like I could tank approximately 6-7 of her normal blows with the raging wolf set. Comparatively mohg's damage gave me quite a lot of trouble especially in phase 2.
Its perfectly fine that you dont like malenia and there's plenty of reason not to. But for me, her moves were fun to dodge and punish, staggering her with my greatsword was never not fun and perfectly dodging the waterfowl was the best feeling I had in any of the souls games. Might just be because of my grip on the fight or perhaps Stockholm syndrome but the combination of her fight and presentation adding to the fact that she's the greatest challenge of endurance in the series which are the types I love the most, and malenia ends up being my favorite boss.

Strength builds finally got what they deserved since the start and I love it
They still don't deal anywhere near enough damage, but they're at least coming close to viability now. Double damage and 10% faster recovery and they'll almost compete with quality/dex builds.
@@TheStraightestWhitest Double the damage??? Are you insane? They aren't THAT bad dude. They were good enough for me even before 1.07. Buffing them even more would be ridiculous when axes and flails still suck

@@TheSpectralForce I mean if my regular Godskin Peeler does 2136 charge damage on Mohg but my Duelist Greataxe with Cragblade (986AR) does 1616 charge damage on Mohg and is half as fast, costs double the stamina, and recovers a fourth as fast, then yeah there's a problem.
They still are insanely underpowered. Again, my 1k AR Duelist Greataxe with Cragblade isn't 1-shotting rats on NG. I can record that for you to prove it if you want. That's fucking ridiculous considering many quicker weapons do in fact one shot rats because of multiple hit effects despite that making them no slower or adding recovery time to them.
DS1 and DS3 remain the only games where ultras were worth it. I use them tons in ER, but purely for fun because I can, not because they're good. They're bottom tier. Lowest of the lowest. Many dagger builds are far superior.
Yes, they are better now, but nothing can dethrone DS2 when it comes to strength builds, and weapon movesets in general.

@@praisemidir I am not saying she has more Poise, I am saying her stance meter/health is increased. It is much harder to break her stance in NG+7 due to this increased health.

As an avid colossal weapon enjoyer, I got to say this video was awesome, I loved it.
What makes this so mind blowing is how it feels.
Feels like you are dancing with the bosses, like they are trying to catch a butterfly.
There's a lot of incredible moments in here, but my personal favourite is at 8:45 when Ongbal dodges Radagon's attacks in time with the music.
Also, amazing end to that Elden Beast fight!

Playing to the bosses's strengths. Using holy damage against Morgott, unupgraded rot axe against Maliketh, bleed spinner against Elden Beast, yet seemingly dominating. Truly a great demonstration both of the buffed weapons and your skills.

Almost 900 hours into Elden Ring and I’m only just now learning you can jump over the elden beast’s ring attacks
The Rotten Greataxe? I use Cragblade on it. Looks good. Same for Lightning Slash.
Also Golden Land projectiles have INFINITE RANGE if locked on. Try it on the farming spot bird.
