I completed my first angel playthrough about 5 days ago and it was completely worth it. I think my favorite part was healing Targona, taking her pain away forever and ending that insect Mustafen once and for all. Also when Berengur was like, hey want a round 2 with Deskari? ' I just shouted. So epic.

Wait, is this in the secret ending where you ascend or is there something I missed horribly? Only finished the game once, as an Azata, and while I did fight demon lords I only fought Deskari in Iz and didn't manage to get any crystals from him despite using a nightbolt. The game ended with Areelu being convinced to sacrifice herself to close the worldwound and I used my floating island to reinvigorate the lands....
In order to see this you either must play as an Angel or you must Ascend. Either way you also must make sure you actually defeat Deskari in Iz. If he flies away then you failed. If he falls with the floor then you can potentially get this option.. Also in order to get the crystal from Deskari you have to pick it up BEFORE the battle ends. Otherwise it falls through the floor with him.

What? I did an Angel of Salvation playthrough but didnt have this happen. Must I shoot him with the Midnight Bolt in Iz or something? Cause I defeated him in Iz as well but failed to convince Areelu to ascend to Godhood in Threshold because I had no fresh Nahyndrian crystal so she offed herself. How did you get this? Did a portal immediately opened after Areelu commited die?
@@SlanderedGaming Yeah, he cleaved the arena resulting in him falling down of it after going how the hell is he being defeated by a mortal. Granted my ending was bugged as it kept looping the conversation with Areelu Vorlesh when trying to find an alternative to closing the worldwound so maybe thats why? Were you able to convince her you are her Son in this specific playthrough? Cause I did and maybe that locked out the Deskari fight in lieu of the other secret boss fight
@@livenreloaded I did not but that doesn't lock you out of the fight. If you succeed in doing Ascension you should be able to end Deskari and Baphomet permanently.

Just re-did the fight on 2 separate conditions 1 - Successfully convinced her that I'm her child 2 - Failed to convince her that I'm her child The first one immediately locks you out from the Deskari fight as it assumes you are going for the secret ending even if you fail to meet its requirement The second still considers you locked into the 'Angel' ending so you can still fight Deskari in his domain. Are you sure you defeated him in Iz? He has to actually drop through the floor. If he flew away then the game counts that as a loss for you.

How is this ending achievable? I did everything for the secret ending as an Angel, but we just summoned both Deskari and Baphomet to us
Defeat Areelu but do not ascend. Iomedae will come and give you options about what to do next.

Are you referring to the zone my Wardens create? If so that zone impacts Deskari and prevents him from teleporting, it doesn't negatively impact me.
