Pretty darn nostalgic. I have the Speer handbook and also a Lyman that predates it. I have about half the books you mention. I also give books away to friends. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. J.
I had the same trapper book when I was a kid and like you ran a trap line for miles in the dark and be back to catch the bus when I was in grade school. Also we have a lot of the same books 😂 thought I was the one of the few who desired extremely accurate hunting rifles! Watched my father make some outstanding shots on groundhogs with an old Mauser actions with a Douglas barrel, what he could have done with these new actions, barrels, and triggers! Those 75 gr sierra bullets was deadly for him!!! Oh yea those baker stands would leave you up a big poplar tree bear huggin it😂
So sorry to hear about your father Scott. Notwithstanding, you turned out pretty darned well. You're a rich man now...a great wife and a sweet daughter that is being raised in a loving home.
I have followed you for quite 😢time now and think, in my opinion you are at the top of the list of rifle builders in the country. I now know why! I plan on owning one of your platforms. Keep up the good work and of course I can't hardly wait to meet and shake your hand.
🤠 Ronbo (Montana Mountain Man): Great Advice and Great Video! It brought back alot of memories of books that I've read on Guns, Hunting, and Trapping, etc...! 👨🏫 (Proverbs 9:9-10 👼 - I became a Christian on Mother's Day, 31 years ago!) 😇
I have a number of those reloading manuals. And here I thought I was the only fanatic that would actually READ a reloading manual. Too funny! EDIT: Conducted a little research and found that Bob Bell died at age 94 in 2019. RIP Sir. BTW I subscribed to PA game news for several years and even had a very small 'letter to the editor' published.
Dear Sir - thank you for that information. Bob Bell influenced me greatly and learning of his passing makes me very sad. He was one of my favorite role models and mentors. We could use more like him. Thanks again.........
Sir...thanks for sharing this. Extremely important that people understand the importance of honor.
It's my pleasure...........thanks.
