Well done true craftsmanship. What are your thoughts on the 300wsm properly throated in long actions?
Hi sir. I would like to know what rifle to do you shoot
I want to see that custom 7rm round fit in a box magazine. What is the overall length of that bad boy?
37xc, 400gr CEB Lazers at 2985fps, .3moa!
I want 1 of your QMM hats!
Nice!! Don't choke. Lol.
Thanks for sharing and your personal information.
I love the excitement and enthusiasm you reflect here! That's authenticity! Keep it up, it's always a pleasure to see a video from you!
My point is that your just a showman trying to justify exorbitant pricing when a Tikka can do as good or better.
Come and prove it, on camera, with multiple witnesses............phone us.
Great to watch!!! Id love to see what it shoots 175 ablrs like. Just with them being a bit fussy to seating depth lengths.
Or maybe give the guy the gun he paid for.
????????????????
That’s a belted magnum 7 Remington mag parent case from 1912 these new cases don’t stand a chance ! lol marketing haha !
My 168 vids shot .090” jump really good ! S&S Percision RIP Don Stark!
?????
Stick Stark? He knew how to build a rifle................thanks.
@@quarterminutemagnums yes sir!
I'm using a ruger m77 red pad in 7mm rem mag from the 70s that my father in law gifted to me a few years ago this season for elk and deer hunting and let me tell you it still shoots! I plan to do a nice restoration on it next year.
My 5 Tikka's all shoot as good or better.
Don't do drugs, drugs are bad...............
I hope people see right through your overdone "salesmanship."
@@WayneErickson-dg8lf You are welcome to travel here and see for yourself.....................phone us.
You're missing the point entirely.
@@WayneErickson-dg8lfWhat is your point exactly?? I'm missing it as well. Are you saying this gun isn't accurate??
Fact is you did not push it to 3000 fps. Your Words not mine. So why shoot a custom gun by QQM. I will buy a gun from you providing you show me 3100fps in a .308 with a 215 gr. bullet plus @ 600 and 1 k QQM. That's 2.5 at 1k.
And why would we want to sell you a blaster ??????
Great video!!!
Glad you liked it!
I like BugHoles, the tiny round hole had a 0.106 the other day almost got into the .0's....0's are when you know u have a hummer...these guys that do moa crap are just fooling themselves
Dear Sir - appreciated..........
Another video on can't put the round in the magazine and cycle it. Ya'll need to understand he's always hand feeding the rounds because they won't fit in the magazine. Yes, he's a great gun barrel chamber and fitting the action gunsmith. But you aren't going to put these handloaded longer rounds in a factory magazine. Notice he said built properly and set up properly on the 7mag beating the 7PRC. The 7PRC is already set up for longer rounds from the factory. The 7mag isn't, and you're going to have to get a faster twist rate barrel for most factory 7mag guns. The 7mag already has more powder velocity so it should beat the 7PRC. But I can shoot a 7PRC more accurately straight from the factory all day especially with handloaded ammo !!
Dear Sir - most of our blasters are solid bottom, single shots; built for experienced, knowledgeable shooters/handloaders. These are true custom builds not intended for Joe Average. As for your "I can - all day" claim: do it on camera, with multiple witnesses and win $1,000 U.S.D. Contact me for details...............
@@quarterminutemagnumsdude is definitely a fan of the 7prc, that’s a couple of posts hanging on the mag, don’t matter what it is if it shoots that good why is there a problem, from where I’m sitting it’s great work to be able to get that sort of results no matter what round your shooting, cheers Yogi ✌️
@@quarterminutemagnums That's funny because you never say that in any of your videos. So all of those people who have come to you and clearly looked like hunter folks were competition folks 🤔.
@rosalindstewart7013 No, I don't like a dishonest person who doesn't tell you everything going on to be able to shoot like that !! I don't own a 7PRC or 7mag.
@@MTCKIE68 fair enough mate, I’m new to all this, looks like I got a lot to learn ✌️
BRUX! It took me a while to get there, it'll take me a lot longer to leave I'm betting.
Thanks...............
Seating depth sure does matter. The people that say it doesn't matter probably don't think any velocity nodes exist either.
Dear Sir - seating depth is critical for extreme accuracy.................thanks.
@@quarterminutemagnums If you can use the magazine for the 7mag. Why don't you show that ? Because they're longer than the magazine.
@@MTCKIE68 Professionals often use single shots...............
@quarterminutemagnums You are full of Shit !! You are building hunting rifles, guy.
@@quarterminutemagnumsask Ask Eric kortina is seating death matters. lol!
Amazing guns! You are a true artist!
Dear Sir - again, we give a lot of credit to our component manufactures......thanks.
So your telling us for the last 50 something years 7 mags haven’t been set up probably, makes perfect sense.
Dear Sir - the original design was flawed compared to current standards; and it makes perfect sense if you are astute and educated in cartridge development. Thanks.............
@@quarterminutemagnums So the 7prc is also flawed, your the third gun maker on you tube I’ve heard bash the prc. Maybe yall should all get together and tell the gun manufacturers how to do it right.
@@TL12352 I know many people in the industry, the "manufactures" are primarily concerned with profit. Also, producing products for the great uneducated masses.
@@quarterminutemagnums Every business is interested in making a profit. Just like you saying don’t buy their rifles there not built right, buy mine.
Barrel is definitely a burner! And those Berger bullets have always shot amazing out of my rifles. I shoot the 115 hybrid hunters out of my 1:7 twist 6mm creedmoor, and with no load development, at 2900 fps, they shoot consistently in the .3’s.
Dear Sir - thank you, Brux! Thank you for the insightful comment.
Scott, i wish you were here is Texas...anywhere in Texas....you're a liitle too far North West for me. As always i enjoyed this video as well. I would like to see you do a .308.
Dear Sir - Thank you; we have many past .308 Winchester videos.
@quarterminutemagnums i will have to look them up. I have a .308 that ia giving me a fit right now. Thank you sir. Respectfully Gary
Boy if my Walmart 700 7mag would do that…bet you could true it and add a brux n trigger and it’d be great…have buncha 6.5prc loads I wanna test on game but can’t decide..I drilled some 140vlds and 130rdf and chamfered the noses real neat and tried em on jugs at 200yrds and noticed a difference in expansion but I have tmk eldx/m v max nosler BT’s all tipped which tend to do good on Ky whitetails..great job on a absolute laserbeam…🫡matt
Dear Sir - appreciated...................thanks.
Now at 10 min. the gun is 5fps. Is it going to hold ES
Nice
Enjoyed this video.
So in the first 3 minutes of your vid you shoot a small group so to speak. Your extreme spread is 73 fps. This may hold at 100 yards. But most likely not at 1k. I own and have seen many rifles group at 100 yards and not shoot all that well at distance. the Saterlee test is fine for a node for speed. It also shows where a rifle may shoot well. However just because a rifle will hold a node doesn't guarantee it will shoot well. Your building magnums that should shoot well at distance. I'm not convinced your guns will perform. Please explain? And no I will not watch another 20 plus vids of your reloading skills that are more off topic than are. you just showed the proof here.
Please send full name, address and phone number for complete refund..................
Preach Brother !! He's just like all the other UA-cam people manipulate your perception of the situation. Notice how he never talks about the SD or ES.
@@quarterminutemagnums This Smartass comment is exactly why people shouldn't trust you !! You are very manipulative with your shooting and the length of the rounds. 1) You're shooting like FClass, but you don't tell people that is how you get the groups you do. 2) I've never seen you shoot from the magazine so that's telling me the rounds are loaded to long and won't feed from the magazine because they won't fit in the magazine. I believe you are a very good gunsmith ! But I don't believe you're completely truthful with everything either.
@@MTCKIE68 Once again, you are welcome to come here and perhaps actually learn something of value.
7mm Rem mag and 7 mm PRC are within 4 grains case capacity of each other with the Rem having the advantage. 7mm Rem runs at 63,500 psi and 7 mm PRC runs at 65,000 psi. If both cartridges are loaded to their potential neither one is going to trounce the other in outright velocity but the Rem may best the PRC's performance with traditional 7mm projectiles up to 175 gr with lesser BC's but the PRC has the ability to handle the newest ultra high BC long range pills because of using the latest in case design and coupling it with a fast twist barrel.
Not one bit of that matters in a true, properly built custom blaster........................thanks.
@@quarterminutemagnums 7 PRC rifles and ammo are readily available, reasonably priced and turn key from the factory. That in itself is a major win.
What a treat!
Much respect Mr. !! You and your rifles really shoot! Thanks for another awesome video & sharing your knowledge with us common folks ! I'm looking forward to seeing your next project . Cheers man
Dear Sir - appreciated............
What's the twist rate on that barrel?
1-9".............Brux.
@quarterminutemagnums and the 1:9 is stabilizing those heavy bullets? My 7mm rem mag is 1:9.5 and it won't shoot the heavier bullets.
@@frostypreppersk3593 Berger calls for 1:9 minimum for 180gr and up.
@@rustynut1967 so my 9.5 would work for 175 and smaller?
@@frostypreppersk3593 Yes, according to Berger and maybe the 180 depending on barrel length and velocity.
Im saving to get one!!!!!!!!!
Dear Sir - Save fast, I am not getting any younger! Thanks..........................
Great video as always. What Sartorius scale are you using? Accuracy comes from precision. Thanks
Dear Sir - the older white one ???????????
THANKS for the truth about 7prc powder cap,i think
Dear Sir - building two 7mm PRC's soon, we shall see. Thanks............
If he will tell the truth about the powder loads. The 7PRC handloads will at least fit in the magazine. The 7mag has more powder and he knows it. The 7PRC is a better factory way to go all day over the 7mag from the factory. If you shoot factory ammo like the majority of people do the 7PRC is better for accuracy 💯.
@@MTCKIE68 What part of "custom rifles" don't you understand?
He said it, a once in a lifetime 7mag beats the 7PRC. The rest of the 7mags except for that one get beaten by the 7PRC.
@duvielhernandez2887 That's not what he said, dude. He thinks the 7PRC is a marketing scam.
HE is not SELLING
Dear Sir - unfortunately, no - only a fool would let one like that get away! Thanks....................
You are a Magician!
@@bobbythompson3544 Dear Sir - we give a lot of credit to our component manufactures, without good parts this level of accuracy is not possible. Thanks.....
Omg I can feel your pain on this one . I had a 6 xc do something very similar ,finally got pissed and hard jammed the 115 DTACS to see if things changed. To this day I’m sure there was a bur that the hard jam cleaned out 72 rounds at that point. Those 5 were in a .2 group ,problem was solved. Stayed at .006 jam measurements even after throat moved still a tack driver . Had a 6 PPC that couldn’t get any load development to work. Barrel supplier offered to take it back . I ended using it as a practice barrel in between competitions ,at 870 rounds it started to shoot. I did nothing different with it. Today it’s my competition barrel at 1900 and counting. Go figure. Thank for all you show us .
Dear Sir - appreciate the information and insight. Still much we do not know about the accuracy equation. Thanks..........
Explain what max jam is. That gun sure shoots!
Dear Sir - if the C.O.A.L. was any longer, bullet would be pushed deeper into case upon bolt closure. Thanks................
I took my new and not zeroed 6.5/284 to National Long Range Championships in 2003 where I shot a 200 x 14 in opening 600 yard iron sight match 531. My first sight in shot was a pinwheel X and thus I went for record on second shot. That was a mistake and cause for next 5 shots hitting in 10 Ring at 12 o’clock even though I was making an adjustment for elevation after each shot. Seems the barrel was getting very hot and it did not become consistent until 7 shots had been fired. Bottom line is my inexperience with this round turned an easy win into a 4th place performance. At any rate, my rifle was X-Ring accurate but after about 500 rounds required rebarreling to maintain X-Ring performance. That’s so expensive for me that I now mostly shoot in Service Rifle Division of NRA Long-Range with a match conditioned AR in .223. It’s more fun than the 6.5/284 but with only half the MOA wind constant of the 6.5/284 it requires more thought about correct wind favor. No doubt though the 6.5/284 is what you take to the long line if ya want to win in High Master Class level of competition, which demands much from rifle, ammunition, and shooter’s marksmanship development.
Would the brass not expand to either of the head space set ups . Second fire fire formed?
It's a joke to compare a special custom 7mm Rem Mag. rifle designed specifically to outperform a 7mm PRC. Stock cartridges in off the shelf chamberings all your talk is hogwash. They are both great cartridges and should just be taken for that. The new case design is much better than the belted cartridge. The AI shoulder too is an improvement. BTW you could have had a AI shoulder put on your 7mm Rem Mag to make it even better. Question is better for what? Faster isn't always better.
Thanks for your support..............
You are so full of it. They are two different cartridges. If you compare them with the guns that were designed for the cartridges the 7mm PRC has more case capacity with long high BC bullets than the 7mm Rem Mag. If you are shooting shorter cartridges and using powder to fill the case the 7mm Rem Mag has more case capacity. In many instances they shoot pretty much the same. But in most factory guns the 7mm PRC has the faster twist for the longer bullet for stabilization. And one can special order a barrel for the 7mm Mag that will pretty much do the same thing, but with longer bullets it will not have the case capacity unless one modifies the chamber to accommodate the longer bullet, so it does not contact the riffling. So, get real. They are both great cartridges but the fact that the belt is removed and the case neck being of an AI design the 7 mm PRC is a better modern-day cartridge. I have owned both. And there is no argument to be had. They are both different and they are both great cartridges. If you are shooting the shorter bullets, it makes zero difference for hunting purposes which one you choose. I have been reloading for over 40 years. I have lately gone to shooting heavier bullets and find the PRC cartridges to be very good. I also have a 6.5 PRC, and one can argue about that too but there is no argument it is what it is just like a 6.5 Creedmoor. All cartridges are good for something. Some are better for one thing than another. But your foolish argument of love and hate of those two cartridges is nothing but theater and bull shit.
Keep those clicks coming........................appreciated.
7mm Mauser velocities?
We are not doing load work ! ! !
Its just a modern day 7 mag that has a proper twist and seating depth for heavy long bullets that can still fit 3.400 mag boxes , its case holds 2grains less , but bullets dont have too be seated so stupid in factory form . If both had the same twists , barrel length , and bullets seated the same length out of the case mouth the old 7 wins because of capacity . Im having a 7 prc built as i write this , just because its more modern and ive never shot or loaded for one.
A 190gr bullet with a muzzle velocity of 2975 fps = 3735 foot pounds of energy !
First of all. Congratulations to Vickie and you both really, on surviving cancer. I agree, 'F cancer. I lost both parents to it. You probably don't need fitness advice considering Vickies's background, but I come from a similar background, competing in powerlifting for 15 years. Living in Montana, elk hunting is just a way of life for most people, and being in shape is and should be first and foremost. I'm only 57 but I feel age is just a number. But still shown otherwise by life on occasion LOL. I workout 7 days a week, about an hour each day in the mornings and I skip rope in the evenings for 10 sessions of 100 skips. Morning workouts are always resistance training, working one body part per day. And I have switched about 10 years ago, to using a Total Gym, while working in with push-ups, squats for quad strength etc. But for the most part the Total Gym gets most of the attention. Very low impact but very good workouts. Something to consider, just thought I would share that with you, as it allows you to keep up your workouts and not have to play catch up as you get ready for hunting season. Because like you alluded to, I want to chase elk as long as the good Lord will allow... Once again, I love your content... Prayers to good health and more elk hunts.... P.S. Cold showers daily do wonders also for overall health

Dear Sir - which is fine as long as they are honest about it. Thanks.........
@@quarterminutemagnums I agree however they are promoting these proprietary target cartridges as hunting cartridges that are better than some of the older cartridges and not as good as many of the older cartridges !
